Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 675 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN

SAFETY ALERT!!!! There were random men walking towards my car. I had to sit in my car until they left then I walked up to the door to the office it was locked called the number on door no one answered. The smaller gate was wide open, so anybody can just walk in. Then I opened the drive thru gate went inside to look for my unit i seen two more men. I didnt think anything of it until both of them were chasing me inside the building, luckily i reached the automatic doors in time before something bad was going to happen. I called the public storage toll free number said no one was inside to report the incident, they refuse to change my unit to another location for the same cost, they said they would cancel in 72 hrs and they never did. I told public storage it is a safety issue. And i am still waiting on my refund. DO NOT RENT HERE ITS VERY DANGEROUS outside the building was well as inside especially if you are a woman.

Climate control set to 50 so it’s pretty cold. Homeless trying to walk in after you, when you open the gate. Property manger not answering the 1800 number during or after hours. Doors close exactly at 6 and will lock you out of the building with your unit door halfway up. even if you’re inside the gate. Didn’t think most people locked their unit completely before going back for another trip of stuff. Missing light above my unit so the insulation fell into the unit and landed on a few of my items. Not too big of a deal but I’d assume there are mice running around up there Wanted to switch units, asked if at the end of this month I can change. Said I had to come into to sign consent forms. Instead I wake up to two units with a bill due. Save your time and choose another location

Kassy was awesome! She explained the entire process to rent my storage unit, was fast, efficient and pleasant. Helped me figure out the best size unit and I was signed and done in less than 15mins.

Kassie was so sweet and amazing to work with she even let me charge my phone with her charger and let me use her hotspot so I could make a text when my internet wasn’t working! She was the best thank you!

Love the security just hate you have to plug in code or open app and wait for bluetooth to connect to correct door, EVERY time you leave building.. when you have stuff in your hands its quite tediius

It is not 24 hour access! Make sure you know this before moving in. Hours are very limiting if you work a normal day job. $115 a month for a 10x10!?!

Great place

I complained about them closing at 6 during the week and 5 on the weekend. There was an employee standing there and he said it’s cause he lives there! So onsite maintenance means you close early but the places without onsite management stay open till regular hrs! That makes no sense, so basically it closes and we can access our unit once you get off work. If you weren’t there we’d be able to access our units till 9 like everywhere else. And what exactly does a living on site maintenance guy do all day at a storage facility besides close the property down early? I just want to be able to access my stuff when I’m able to not when it’s convenient for them, seems like really terrible way to manage a business.

Great facility. In a central location for me as well!

The hours work out for me with what I use my unit for. The hallways and lighting are great for taking pictures of my clothes to post online, the staff are always sweet and friendly, and the place is very clean and very little sighting of bugs that you’d usually get at an industrial style building like this. I’d recommend this place to anyone, plus you can’t beat the monthly rates. I’m here daily and have no complaints

**DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT** USE THIS PLACE TO STORE YOUR ITEMS WITHIN THE TWO MONTHS OF RENTING HERE THEY SWITCHED THE HOURS OF ACCESS HERE WITH NO EMAILS OR TEXT SENT OUT TO CUSTOMERS. I REPEAT ONEDAY YOU WILL SEE SOME HOURS THE NEXT MOMENT IN THE DAY THEY WILL SHUT YOU OUT. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO RENT THEY HOURS OF NOW IS 9:30am-6pm WHEN I FIRST STARTED TO RENT HERE THE HOURS WAS 6am-9pm. THEY CHANGED THE HOURS WITH NO UPDATE TO THE RENTERS AND HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE WITH EXPLANATION OF WHY. DO NOT RENT AT NO PUBLIC STORAGE IN INDIANAPOLIS!!!!***
