I rented an indoor unit at this location for about 3 years. The office staff were always very kind, especially Tim whom I spoke with over the phone several times. They always tended to my needs in a timely manner and cared to resolve any issues I had. I always felt that my belongings were very secure and I appreciated the extra levels of security such as the gate, code access, security cameras and a well-lit building, especially when going to my storage unit at night. They also have rolling carts available at all times to assist with moving things, which I used many times and greatly appreciated. Thank you Public Storage for keeping my belongings safe and secure, and thank you Tim for all your help and kindness 💛

I called the online customer service number to reserve a unit as I was going to be moving the the following week and had a U Haul reservation. The phone rep was so friendly. The process was painless, and I was sent a link. Unfortunately, I pressed the submit button and it took me to the payment page without an overview. I agreed to payment and the phone rep reviewed the details. He had reserved a unit in Indianapolis when I thought he was reserving a unit in Hobart - that is a 3 hour difference . He apologized profusely and transferred me to customer service. They could not process a refund for a week and I could not get the $1 for the first month promotion since technically I already had paid for a unit with Public Storage even though the rep made a mistake. I spoke with the property manager, Tim. He was nothing short of amazing! He thought outside the box by refunding my unit lock right away, "vacating" me from the account so that I could reserve a new unit elsewhere. He also provided me with guidance for what to do next. He was super friendly and helpful.

Tim had done a good job of taking care of us, and works to make sure we are happy. The storage is clean, dry, and climate controlled. A good place to store stuff. 👍

Don’t store here!! This place doesn’t have security in place. My unit was burglarized. My lock was cut over night and when Tim and I opened the unit my stuff was gone. Tim did try and help but there is a lot that doesn’t add up. He told me it was his first time experiencing it. But the cop came and told me it was his 10th report that month. The insurance company sucks too. You’re forced to buy their crappy insurance whether you have a 2x5 or a 20x25 unit they only pay out $4900 and they take forever. Their nice brochure you get in your unit is a joke and a lie. They do not process claims quickly. It’s been 8 months they left me hanging waiting for my payment. They do not care. They do not even investigate to find the thieves. So I had my own investigation done. Since I haven’t been paid, and I paid the insurance deductible every month though, and the cops told me a different story than Tim did. The cop said they don’t have any working cameras. I mean they might now but during my time there they didn’t. And how could they not use the gate code box to sort out who was there the night I was robbed? I bet it wasn’t working either. So I obviously moved the 4 items the thieves didn’t want out of there, went in to the app and completed a move out but I still got charged for the next months rent. Their lease says to clean your unit and leave the door open. I did that. But was told I was charged for the next month cause guess what, someone closed the unit and put a lock on it. And it was 3 months later I found out I owed them money. So why wasn’t I charged for the next 2 months? Because Tim said they’d have to cut the lock and see if stuff was inside. Of course in 3 months stuff is inside. He called me a week later to confirm items were in there and wanted to know if they were mine. Dude, you saw me take out the junk the thieves left me. You talked to me while I cleaned it out. So why the hell would I fill it back up? This place cost me thousands of dollars last year and I just needed to store my items for a few months at most. I am super pissed and since their insurance company won’t get off their butts and send my payment I’m getting a lawyer. Meanwhile they can send me to collections for a bill that’s not even mine. I don’t even care. All the more reason to sue this company. I am not sure what’s up with Tim, he seems to be very helpful and caring to your face but he said some strange things that made me wonder about him. And why is my claim approved but the lazy jerks don’t pay it out to me? I’m so sick of them and I just wanted it over with so I can move on with my life. Months later when I needed storage again I found Extra Space Storage. Never trust when they tell you it’s secure until you see the place. Extra Space took the time to do a whole building walk through, showing me where every camera is, they use blue tooth locks that can’t be cut, and showed me how to pull up the criminal history there and I found not one incident. But this Public Storage here still has people being robbed to this day. Is everyone afraid to post it or something? People need to know that this is not the safe and secure place they claim to be if a year later people’s items are still being stolen. And the thieves are still looming inside that craphole.

The property manager, Mr.Tim helped me get a unit, he was very professional and extremely kind. He explained all the options dornthe units and helped me setup auto payments for easy management of payment!

The manager Tim is very helpful and took care of all my needs, very quickly both times I’ve went in to talk to him. Hassle free storage and management and clean and dry facilities. Would recommend.

Great place. We've used Public Storage for 4 years on West Wasington St., Indianapolis, IN. Their managers are amazingly helpful. We've been impressed by simple things like the cleanliness... not even dust. When we shopped for storage, they were one of the few that returned calls with availability, pricing, etc.

I had a unit here for a little over a year and had no issues. The facility is clean and secure. The staff is easy to reach, and Tim always answered my questions promptly. I have absolutely no complaints.

At first, this place was great. We even rented a second unit for some pieces that we received after a family member passed. In February, the manager called us because during a walk through, she noticed the hasp had been completely mangled on one unit. One of our locks had been broken off and completely replaced. We chalked it up to a random act and had reported it to the police. But it seems that this was only the beginning. We began the process of emptying our units out in the last 5 weeks. We couldn't even get into one because someone had broken in and replaced our lock!!! We had to pay a locksmith to get into our stuff despite the office being able to prove it IS indeed our unit. For the 2nd time in 4 weeks, we've been broken into. The owner and management has been made aware that this is happening, but they don't give a crap. Don't use this place unless you want to be robbed blind!

I was very happy with the service I received. It was very, very clean, had plenty of dollys to use, and they included the lock with the pricing. The associate Helen was very patient and helpful when we were going back and forth. Had some difficulty with the app, but overall, I would recommend it. Now, if you are one of the people hit by the difficulty our economy is having, this is NOT one of the places you can sneak and live in. It's very secure and well maintained so you will get caught. There is a spot on Rockville I think you could get away with it at.

Helped a friend move out of a unit, one of the employees allowed him to stay until a little after close to sweep out and clean up, then told him all was well and no problems before we left. Friend said employees are really nice and helpful there.

It's super great that you can rent a unit online and gain access. However, it sucks that there's no one on-site or any customer service options in the evening. No signage to direct you to the units. You have to just wander aimlessly until you find it!

My visit was Excellent. Great place to rent.

I have used the storage service for a few months at this spot. The spot is clean always. Today afternoon (August 8th) we rent a van from a U-Haul spot, and the van was so dirty and smelled awfully. We drove this van to the spot, and the lady staff saw that and instantly gave help offering cleaning tools. And she also gave us some air perfumer and sanitizer to help us feel better. She is a staff of simply self storage rather than of U-Haul. I am very thankful that she gave a hand warmly. Nice space, and even nicer staff!

The lady up front was wonderful. She knew exactly what I was looking for, was extremely nice, professional, and thorough. I am so glad I stopped here first rather than wasting my time with another facility. The place looks brand new but apparently is 5 years old. Very well kept and secure. Price was pretty much what I was expecting, though I definitely feel I would have paid more somewhere else and/or it not have been nearly as nice. Seriously, the place was spotless.

The service was excellent from the time I called them while loading up the Uhaul in Tampa Florida to the time we unloaded in Indianapolis Indiana. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of a 5 star is because everyone was always waiting for a cart. As busy as this facility is, I would recommend having more carts for the patrons to use. The place was always clean as well. I would use them again if I needed a storage unit.

Very clean space, elevator isn't terror trap the energy saving lights are a great efficient use of energy and a lil bit scary if you're in your unit trying to organize your boxes a lil and they go off but you can just pop out and wave you hand 😅

She spent the time to tell me about the facility and the security that they have. The prices are great, as I have checked around. If you are in need of a storage unit you need to stop by and see Helen.

The man at the front desk was very nice. However, we were not informed about a roach infestation. After we loaded items into our unit we needed a cart, once we went to find a cart we noticed there were a lot of dead roaches as well as a few alive roaches in the front. We informed the front desk and was told this was just an issue towards the front and that it was being handled. The next day we went back and noticed roaches moving closer to our unit which was located in the back. I’m not sure if it’s too late to move our items without taking roaches with us.
