Never rude and always straight forward I truly appreciate them and sooooo very happy the past manger is GONE!! That’s was the best thing that could have happened to Public Storage. Visited location the team was great Tariq and Wilbur was great and knowledge.

It’s a nice facility. Clean, climate controlled etc. But the price of my 10x15 unit went up from $169 to $370 in three years. That’s more than double! I finally vacated my unit and got a unit closer to me for half the price. It’s the same size, climate controlled as well and also with a reputable company. Although I like Public Storage, they priced themselves out of my range. And honestly it seems like highway robbery for what you’re getting.

Sierra has been so helpful in getting me set up in my new 5 x 5! She is amazing: Friendly, professional and efficient!! I could not be happier with Public Storage if I tried. And a big reason is that Public Storage hires such exceptional employees like Sierra. :)

Terrible excuse of a business the “workers” or if that’s what you want to call them are extremely lazy and rude, they lock the doors and will look at you through the window as if you did something wrong, UNPROFESSIONAL at its best, there are only carts for inside units will is very inconvenient and time consuming will placing heavy items in or out. DO NOT USE THIS the reviews are lies

I moved out of my unit April 29th there was no one in the office to help and no one answers the phone. I got charged for a whole month plus a late fee and went up there to pay on May 8th. I was told I didn't have to pay because I moved out before the 1st. Now I'm getting calls and emails stating that I owe if that was the case why not take the money and check the storage unit when I was there on May 8th.

Terribly ran. Nobody ever in the office and they don’t return calls! Move out was a nightmare and they ended up charging us 2 months past vacate because the lock was left on. However, we tried twice to return keys and nobody in the office during business hours on two diff days. 1-800 number attendant said no worry since our account access codes have been disabled we are all set and no more charges will occur. But guess what….they charged us again…stating it was bc the lock was still on. However, we could not get in (due to disabled gate code) to leave the lock and key at the desk…and again no employee and no answer on the phone. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!! UPDATE: we finally got a person and got the lock removed and completed the move out ONLY TO HAVE THE MANAGER BOB REOPEN OUR ACCOUNT AND RESTART AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS FOR A UNIT NOT OCCUPIED AND ALREADY VACATED!! Unbelievable!! This guy is a piece of work, not trustworthy, do not waste time at this location, they are running me in circles just because I chose to vacate? Guess they are desperate for business and desperate enough to do business unethically and with zero regard for the consumer.

We needed to find storage since we are doing a home re-model. Had a great experience with the employees - they were very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this location. Unit clean as well as the grounds. Great find.

Very confused by the good reviews on this place. I was 5 minutes late to my reservation and they cancelled it along with the price deal. Even though I was physically in the store during all this I was still forced to go on the app in order to 'reserve' a new unit. I was placed in the overflow lot down Industrial Drive. I've had nothing but problems accessing this facility. When I moved in there were 2 guys working on the door during my move and it was super hard to get in and out. The next time I went the doors were being propped open with blocks of concrete. Since then I've gone 2 times and have been locked out by the faulty door - which clearly was not properly fixed. I called both times and was unable to reach anyone to let me in my unit. The customer service is terrible and the facility is bad. They're raising the rate by $40 a month and it is most certainly not worth the money.

Absolute life savers when it came to a last minute reservation. Office staff was extremely helpful and professional when it came to helping us out in a pinch, the facility is also very well maintained and locked down.

** Latest Update ** 01/31/22 Was contacted by the District Manager, Aaron, and after some discussion, we were able to come to an agreeable compromise, which I really appreciate. ** UPDATE ** Just got an email about a rate increase for 2022.... it's going up by $17.00 per month!! They have steadily increased my monthly payment by a few dollars here and there, but this is absolutely ridiculous. $107 per month, for a 5X5 unit. It's my fault for being so naive and complacent, but that ends now. After looking at the Public Storage website I still had a couple questions about the unit I would be renting, so I called the Customer Service phone number. I spoke with a friendly rep named Shawna (sp?), who was helpful in answering my questions. As she (I'm assuming) is trained to do, she got my information in the system so she could reserve a unit for me. The website was offering an "Online Only" promotion of $34 per month and first month only $1. Of course I know these are specials offered, in order to entice customer's into renting at that specific location and most likely, that's not what you'll actually end up paying. I'm aware. However; upon making the reservation with Shawna and clearly expressing that price was definitely something I was concerned about, she advised the price would actually be $42 per month and $1 for the first month because the specific units that were still available were not part of that promotion. Ok, $8.00 more per month, I'll deal. I thanked Shawna and we hung up. Shortly thereafter I received a call from whom I believe is the Store Manager, Tres, and we set up an appointment time to come look at the unit. Once we arrived at the store, he was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable in answering any questions and also in trying to up-sell the unit size, after hearing what all we had to store. We did keep the original size, but Tres did a great job in all facets. Here's where it took a turn and why I rated '3' Stars and not '5'.... When the time came to sign the rental paperwork, Tres advised me that insurance on the unit is mandatory, with the minimum charge of $11 per month added to the rate. Additionally; a Public Storage "approved" lock is added to the bill, at $22.00!!! I asked if I could provide my own lock and Tres said unfortunately; it's their policy that the customer arrive on-site with said lock if they want to provide their own, at the time of rental agreement signing. This would have been really good information to know, PRIOR to coming in to check out the unit. We stopped in to sign on the way to meeting our movers and were on a tight schedule, otherwise just for the pure principle of it, I would have located a different storage location. There were multiple opportunities to inform me of these extra mandatory charges before I arrived to sign, yet they were never advised. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth, in additional to what seems to be "false advertising" between what the website offers and what is actually available. I wish this hadn't happened, because Tres did a great job and I would have loved to give a 5-star rating. If it were based solely on him, I would have for sure!

You can’t find better service! Bob, the manager, at this location is one of the most helpful and honest individuals that I have ever met. Twice I have sought him out regarding billing issues and twice he has effectively resolved everything for me. He has even assisted me with my Public Storage unit located in Florida. This is the Public Storage site to use in the Detroit suburbs!
