I incorrectly left a post yesterday with 1 star because I thought I was wronged about my storage unit size. I hope this helps clear up my misguided post the Manager at this location, Scott is very helpful and attentive.

Love the location, super easy for me to get my stuff in, like the size of my unit. Concerned that gate has been broken since day one. Today the keypad to get in did not work and I was able to manually push the doors open to get access. On the way out the doors would not open and I again had to manually push them open.

After calling the Madison Heights location and speaking with Scott, I was able to resolve my issue and move my unit location to the Madison Heights site without a problem. I started my relationship with Public Storage in March. Initially I had reserved a unit at another location and they rented it to someone else which left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was referred to this location and all the frustration melted away when I worked with Scott. He took great care of my mom and I! I’ve since come in to pay and worked with Sierra. She’s just as amazing! I’m grateful that it didn’t work out at the other store, cuz it’s been amazing since!

We were customers for over 10 years. EVERY year, the cost of the storage went up $10 to $15. This year, they mailed out the notice of increase to start September 1st, but we did not get it until August 8th. NOT 30 days prior to increase as required by law. So we were not able to give them a 30 day notice of quit before the new increase as we are required to do. So we are legally bound to pay the ridiculous amount of increase. They chose to increased our MONTHLY bill by $60. This is totally wrong. The central phone will not accept any calls, they tell you NO AGENT is available and tell you to place inquiry online. Then they have a computer call you to tell you have no recourse, pay! DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE. THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN HELP YOU WITH BILLING ISSUES!! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.
