Rob at the light house was a hero!
I originally had a reservation at the waples rd location, when I arrived to the wrong size unit no one was around to help, and customer service was not helpful. Rob went out of his way to help me and get me set up in my tight time frame and he saved the day! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!

Ram and Joseph were a great help. I had an issue with a double booking, and they were able to get it fixed right away. The storage unit is perfect for my family's needs. Public storage has multiple size units that we have used in the pass for my daughter who is in college while I was deployed and bigger units when I came back. I definitely recommend using this place for all your needs.

Absolute trash business and service. Do not let them con you into renting a lock from them, the shoddy lock they gave me broke and they have no tools or a way to get into the locker, they have awful office hours which aren't posted anywhere and you're just routed to a robo number with nobody answering. Climate controlled units are kept at a balmy 83 degrees. This business is a joke.

I have rented many storage units over the years, the most recent ones at Public Storage facilities in New York and Northern Virginia. The contrast between this location and the others is stark. This facility is clean and well-maintained. They provide their customers with a bathroom! (So rare!) There is management on-site during business hours. And that manager, Emad, is a pleasure to work with. You will enjoy interacting with him. He is helpful, courteous, and you can tell he is devoted to doing a good job.
I already planned to write a good review about Emad before move-in day because my phone interactions with him were such a breath of fresh air after my most recent experiences with surly storage staff. And after the small ways he went above and beyond the day we moved in, I didn’t want to let another day pass without recommending this location to people in the area. Things like a smile during the process sound like they’re not a big deal when you’re hauling your belongings to a self-service storage place, but - you know what? - they ARE appreciated. Thank you, Emad, for a pleasant experience.

Was looking for an area to store my stuff while on a short move. Upon which I found this location to very convenient, although not 24hr access. I had an issue in which I left my lock, locked improperly in which the Property Manager Emad contacted me within the ending of that day to let me know of the issue. After speaking with him about the issue the next day, he was very informal about the site and the way they carry themselves as far as a company. Happy I was able to work with Emad on the issue and won’t hesitate to continue with my storage usage at this location. Thanks again Emad.

Email Witherspoon provides customer centric service at this location. He takes ownership of a problem and takes the initiative when he sees something wrong. In my case he noticed that my storage unit lock was improperly closed and took the initiative to close the unit and spoke to me at our next conversation.

This place is amazing. Some of the BEST people I’ve ever met. The property manager Micheal worked with me through every single problem. Even when I was out of state, they would call and text me with polite understanding, problem solving wit, and reasonable negotiation. Not many amenities, and it wasn't the cleanest around. You have to hunt for a dolly etc.
