One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. The units are ok but the customer service does not exist. No one was manning the office as they were supposed to. I called Corporate and person finally showed up. When they showed she issued me a unit that was out of the way. I saw another unoccupied unit that was more convenient and asked if I could switch. She told me that was not possible. When I asked for a reason she said she had other things to do and could not help me further.
UPDATE OCT 2024: Tommie is the manager for this location and has been very helpful whenever I call with a question. He's easy to work with and has a sense of humor too!
I'm having a good experience with this facility and it's manager, Gupta. He goes out of his way to ensure that my account is situated and has put my mind at ease. I recommend this facility for storage and excellent customer service.

I have a unit with a light in it. The light wasn’t working so I asked them to get it fixed. It took them six months to get it fixed. They had my key to get in and out so when they were done, my generator was gone actually it was stolen and they said they couldn’t replace it because it wasn’t broken into. It wasn’t broken into you guys had the key, I didn’t get a refund so just be careful when you let them in your unit with your key

My stuff got covered with white powdery stuff which was mold, the unit had a terrible smell, and a box was covered with mold. Unfortunately, the attendant said it looked like dust. He probably honestly did not know what mold looks like. Nonetheless, I lost several pieces of furniture, plus the contents of several boxes. If you ever encounter this problem, do not move anything until the insurance adjuster sees it. My kids took the moldy stuff out, therefore, I can't make a claim now. At any rate, it is their responsibility to maintain the units in good shape for their clientele. I will NEVER use this company again!!
Beware of Unit 3558 (5X10) which is the one that has active mold. Sad!

MOLD! MOLD! MOLD! Unwilling to do anything about it. Paid for climate controlled storage at this facility and stored our stuff for 31 days. Came back and several items are covered with mold. Humidity in the unit was high and clearly no air circulation. Staff was unwilling to do anything about it and would not even refund rent payments. DO NOT USE this business.
Update: despite response on here, zero action from the company. Requested a call from GM and property manager and got zero response. Completely unprofessional. Again, stay away!

The Public Storage manager, Tommy, at the Burke Centre Parkway location in Burke, Virgina went out of his way to make the process of renting a storage unit easy. I see that he truly cares about his customers and for them to have a good experience. He even fixed my broken lock.
August 5, 2023 (six months later) - I am being charged $30 extra a month for the same spot. Called the manager and he explained that the Corporate office automatically does that after six months. Rip off… going to build a shed for the same price of a one-year rental and move out.
Tommie was great in helping with our military move and getting some extra stuff out of the way.

Customer services is very bad, the attendant is not in desk even during the day and he called back one day after! To say that he won't be any time as we need. And, that was all. We had to fix our problem by ourselves.

Leaking rooves along with trash and nails throughout the parking lot makes this the worst storage unit I have used. All of the 5 star reviews are fake and done by the employee's. The gate is regularly off line and customers are unable to get through the gate. The manager is also usually late to arrive so people are stuck outside until he decides to show up.

The interaction was not the best. I then looked at the second location and was in contact with Tommie. Tommie was very professional and pleasant to talk to. Mr Gupta provides me excellent service I liked the storage .
I've been renting for a few years now, through broken gates for months no security, only a few months after I moved in, they tried to raise my rates over 25% above there normal billing rate, I would call and ask for a rate reduction, they reduced it back down, only to try again and again, finally they said the $525 a month would be the rate and no adjustments will be allowed, when I called and said your advertising for $425 for the same unit, I got back yes for new clients, I guess the business model is get you in the jack you up; point being if you rent from this company expect a very high rent increase and this company doesn't appreciate there client no loyalty, its almost like a trap, you rent move all your stuff into the unit (a lot of labor), then only after a few month bang, they will raise your rent without justification or cause, because they know its a huge inconvenience to move. Not a good company for a long term rental. Yes I am moving out, and discourage folks from renting from this company,.

Just recently I use their facility they were very helpful and accommodating I will use them again in the future.
I called this place asking for rates. Many of them have a 1st month promotion. These guys didn't. I said I didn't want to move forward because there's no promotion. The rep said, "well, when you call back and the reservation is gone, don't say I didn't warn you," and basically hung up on me. VERY RUDE! The next place I called DID have the promotion and charged $40/month less.
Mohammad was friendly and informative! He encouraged me to register my storage unit on the website to receive the promotion. THANKS!!

I normally am not one to right reviews but in this case I feel I have to. I have been here for close to a year now and have to say, I have never had any issues. The site is super clean, safe and people that work at this location are kind and attentive to your needs.
I want to recognize Robert especially because he has always been super kind and always is willing to ask me if I need anything (greet and speak to me) and is always there if you need him. He has helped me several times with various needs and goes out of his way to help. He is the main reason I’m writing a review! I appreciate that he is always willing to help and then the time in which he takes care of any of your needs. Thanks Robert!
I’m very disappointed if this place . I took my stuff last Monday everything has water and my mattress got damaged. And the guy that’s his costumer service is 0 . Never friendly and he just say call the insurance, well I pay to public storage the insurance. So awful. And everything got wet my boxes . I can’t stand that I don’t recommend this place.

Ellena, the regional manager has even bribed me with a larger unit at a discount in exchange for a 5 star review. More recently the gate has not been consistently working. People have not been able to access the unit during normal business hours due to the gate being broken.
