Reserved a unit online today and had a really great experience! After reserving online, I received a phone call from Jennifer asking if I had any questions about the move in process. She was very helpful, answered all my questions and also explained their app. I did the paperwork online, but going for the first time I stopped at the front to “check in;” just to make sure everything was squared away. I was greeted by both Jennifer and Melanie and they actually walked me to my unit and gave me the whole run down of the place! All the gates and doors can be controlled by their app which is super easy and convenient. 10/10 recommend for a simple, easy storage solution with excellent customer service!

So Melanie helped out my son , who’s 19 get a storage unit. She was quite the professional and knew her stuff. She made the whole experience a pleasant one. In 2 years my storage went from $134 to now $279. Luckily I checked my email today or else on 7/1 I would’ve saw a draft of $279.
Each time they raised my storage by almost $50 every 6 months over the past 2 years with NO explanation. Each time the property manager stated “wish there was something I could do”.
Since it’s called Public Storage, the Public needs to do something about the price gouging and seek storage elsewhere.
Found the same size unit about 1.2 miles from home at $134 a month and first 2 months are at 1/2 price. They don’t raise rental fees every 6 months.
Fingers crossed they don’t try to buy them out to remove any competition

What a joke, way to high on prices and have to purchase insurance that is a joke as well. Had unit broken into and items stolen. Reported to insurance and they wouldn't pay out for items stolen. Front gate wide open for thieves to help themselves. Person on duty wasn't honest when asked about breaking. Very un professional do not do any business with public storage.

I have been a loyal customer for the last four years, always paying on time and never having any issues. However, I recently received a move-out notice for my unit, which I had paid for and left unlocked intentionally. I did not inform the office in person or online that I was moving out, as I was still using the unit. I received a phone call from them earlier today where they threatened to send my account to collections if I did not pay the balance, but they hung up on me after I asked them to wait for a moment. I called back several times, but no one answered. I disputed the charge with my bank, as I felt that I was unfairly removed from accessing my unit. I’ve been trying to see where it is required for me to leave a lock on the unit or they’ll remove my access. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the way they have treated me, a long-term customer who never caused any trouble.

Our family has 3 units (10x10, 10x20, 10,10) and I am a disabled Vet. After 4 months the rate went up 32%, 20% & 57% and at month 13 the rates were up 66%, 31% & 73% respectively.
My app to access the will not work to open the gate even after reinstalling it multiple times and the company disabled app access to leave the building forcing customers to get out of the car and manually key in their access codes.
The Public Storage contract to get a unit states, rates are month to month and can be adjusted. Their internet price will get you to do the work to move into the unit then jack the price up knowing it is a royal pain to move again.
When you call to complain about the rates, they will tell you market conditions will dictate the rate.
There are lots of empty units in my building. Maybe we should be buying their stock since squeezing every last cent they can get is THE Public Storage business practice.
The young lady that was working Friday 8/18/23 Was very friendly and attentive to me as s customer. I have had the pleasure of meeting her when I first rented the storage out. Which has been a year ago. She is ALWAYS friendly service with a smile. 😊

This place was great.... not so much anymore. I rent a spot with my roomate. Everything was fine for months. One day we come in to our unit and my whole hallway smells like a litterbox. I'm gagging by the time I open my unit and it absolutely reeks coming from the unit next door.
Apparently the solution to stinky neighbors is to force us to pay extra to transfer all our belongings to a new unit and we only get a day to do so...
Maybe don't come here if you don't want anything fabric you own to smell like cat pee pee and poo poo. Allegedly management can't smell it and doesn't care?

(June 2023) Melanie (property mgr) and Steven are the best! We have a couple of units, and Melanie provided essential assistance with payment* and access**. *PS online rental system is not user-friendly in that it malfunctioned when we attempted to rent a 2nd unit; Melanie reserved the unit until we arrived to pay in person. **On a past Sat, access was prohibited due to roadwork on that street (a ridiculous, ill-planned mess on a weekend!); Melanie responded our phone call for advice by suggesting delaying our 2nd attempt to visit (that day) until the workers re-opened access in the afternoon (she spoke with the road crew!). She's always extremely courteous and pleasant, and will do her best to accommodate your storage requirements - Excellent customer service! And, the location is (new!), clean and well-maintained :) .
There's plenty of storages units available but when ever the management is on point is an awesome feeling. 👌!

I just got a new unit here a few days ago. I don't normally have to go into the office but I was switching units and needed to return a lock and all of the employees were super nice and helpful. Inside the main building is always nice and cool and clean. Location is great as well!
My daughter and I were traveling from Missouri and she had to use the restroom! Ms Melany & Ms Pam welcomed us right in and allowed my daughter to use the public restroom! We appreciate their hospitality and friendliness!

Went in the other day, I needed boxes and some tape because we are moving and The Staff Member Stephen was very helpful and attentive. He assured me it’s high quality tape and boxes 2nd to none…. I was sold (my wife is a bit of hoarder and let me tell you we needed some strong boxes for the amount of stuff she shoved in those boxes. Over great service from Stephen and when I need more boxes (I’m sure I will soon) I’ll be stopping by again.

If I could give it a 0 star I would. My account was restricted to where I could not go into my unit only during office hours. In my attempt to move out of this unit, I was told that if I wasn't out by 5pm I would get charge another month's rent. I believe it is unfair to the people who have jobs and are not able to get to their unit until after 5pm and I had to take a partial day from my job to deal with this in which it has not been resolved. This rent here has gone up drastically to $300 plus dollars. The employee would not provide me with the District managers last name or a phone number for contact and I was told that the restricted access was placed by the DM Kayla. I would not rent from this location ever!

Bare in mind this place is almost in the middle of nowhere, and the following review will be of interest to anyone that's had a long drive.
The good.
Its cleaned well, and has working a/c. Has security cameras in every corner. You have to put your code in everytime you breathe.
The bad. Toilets are NEVER open to customers although you have to type in your code to get through any door or elevator.
There are 4 toilets in the building I used. 2 down stairs and 2 on the 2nd floor. I inquired why the toilets are locked. I was told bad things happen. So they would rather lock every customer from every bathroom than check their security system of who used what code to get through that area the time the "bad thing happened"?
I mean security cameras and pass codes are there for a reason right?
If they lock EVERYONE from them all the time, Why not remove the toilets completely instead of giving false hope or advertising they are there at all??? On this alone and the weak none caring explanation when enquiring about this to staff, I give one star.

Was a clean and very friendly establishment. I had the pleasure of meeting with MELANIE, who went above and beyond to assist me in my every need. She was extremely kind and very informative. Im very pleased with this location and majorly impressed with the customer service the employee provided.

Edit: I ended up getting a call back around 12:10 and was able to get into my unit shortly after. I will say this facility is very nice. It is kept clean, the elevators come in VERY handy, and they even have good quality flatbed carts to help unload items. For this reason I will change my rating from 1 star to 4 stars
Went in to check in/move in to a storage unit I had purchased the day before, arrived during their business hours at 10:41am, the doors to the office were locked and then proceeded to wait in my car for 30+ minutes with no sight of anyone working there. Called a few times and left a voicemail after 30 minutes of waiting. I understand someone may be out giving a tour of the units.. but 30 minutes with not a single other person in the office, quite inconvenient. I then called back an hour after leaving to see if anyone was finally in the office, as I needed to drop some things off in my unit so I could go get something else to put in my unit, and once again nobody answered. A little disappointed in my experience so far with this place and just trying to gain access to something I have already paid for.
Clean and well organized. Melanie always answers all my questions and made the contract and move-in process super simple!
Hours are not accommodating to customers who work late . They should be open til 10 or 11pmnfor gate hours. They are not flexible with the gate hours nor do they allow 24 hour access during your move. U-Haul has the best gate hours and 24 hour access. Strongly recommend staying away from here if you work later hours than normal.
Melanie was amazing extremely informative and made the whole process an enjoyable experience, highly recommend using public storage on 10555 N.Freeway definitely an amazing experience

Would highly recommend this Public Storage location. Very clean and staff is very helpful. Melanie was great and made things very easy for me even over the phone before I came in.
