Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2112 N Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC

Got scammed out of almost $100 because I accidently booked twice. I called immediately to talk to someone but they were closed. I called several times the next day and left a voicemail. When I finally did get through to somebody I explained what happened and they said that they would take care of it and it would be refunded but the refund hasn't come so I reach out via chat to see what was up and the rep told me that the "escalation team" decided not to refund me and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I'm livid that there's nothing I can do and they just stole $98 from me.

Hands down the best customer service anywhere. Jacob is the man! This dude knows his stuff. My guy went out of his way to help me figure out exactly what i needed. If you go no cap this is the dude you talk to. This is the kind of dude that would run into your burning home to get your dog and goldfish. 10 /10 across the board.

Great service, very friendly! Update....I've rented a 10X10 unit for 4 almost 5 years. What started as $81.00 plus 11.00 for insurance is now $200.00. The increase makes no sense and no one in the corporate office can explain. Online the unit is advertised for $99.00. The local employees have no control over pricing so they are no help. There are plenty of storage companies in Greenville and I will be moving. Its not worth $1200 per year. Beware. Beware.

After driving across the country for 4 days only to find our rental house a disaster we need to rent a large storage pending securing a different property. Brooks was very nice and understanding and found a large unit for immediate occupancy. That was relief not to have to worrying about what we were going to do with our stuff. Thank you Brook.

I’ve been a customer for a couple years and started with a 10 x 10 unit for $81 monthly. Then out of nowhere, they raise the price for the same unit to $140 monthly. Dial once again they raise the price to $172 monthly. I went online and they are offering the same exact unit at the same place for $81 a month. I contacted them to see if there’s something that could be done and they said no. They told me I could get a smaller unit for a cheaper price or I could get another 10 x 10 unit like I have online for the $81 and move my things over. That’s stupid business. If they could keep charging me $140 a month I’d be happy with that. But they refuse to keep it the way it is, they just want more money. But yet they’re telling me too rent another unit right next to it and move my stuff and only pay than $81 a month. Would you rather get 140 or 81? It makes no sense. Also, at this location, be warned that if you get a unit that is temperature controlled, the air conditioning doesn’t work too good. If it’s 92° outside it’s 85° in the unit. From my understanding, it should be closer to 70°.

Haven't moved to Greenville yet, but Brooke, the property manager was extremely helpful. She worked with us and helped coordinate a pod moving service from out of state and reserving a storage unit for when we get there. Great communication and customer service

Go literally to any other storage unit. “New customers” phone calls are answered immediately. Once you sign a contract that allows them to raise the prices every 3 months (and they did) then they won’t take your phone call placing you on hold for 10 minutes. They raised my rent three tons with no notice. Scam

Watch out for “bait and switch!” They will get you all moved in for a low monthly rate. Then, every six months your new monthly rate will skyrocket!! I was $120 in the Fall and Winter of 2022. Then $155 January - June, 2023. Now my new monthly rate beginning in July 2023 is $202 per month! I’m in the process of moving out!

Definitely do not rent space from them.. I dare anyone to try to reach a property manager at a located near them. They will lie and miscommunicate to find a way to auction off your things.. no transparency.. like I said just try calling your property manager closest to you.. guarantee they won't be available.. not the head office the actual property manager on site that you will be dealing with

So I been dealing with moving back and forth here lately, and every time I need extra space in between moving I use Public Storage. Today the staff at Publix Storage (Brooke and Jacob) really helped me out with friendly fast service, them two really know they way around the facility. If I could give them more stars then five I really truly would because they deserve it. “Thanks again Public Storage the Amazing Services that you all provide”

Brooke is very good at what she does! Very friendly and welcoming as well as quick and very knowledgeable! The place in it's self is also very welcoming! Would definitely recommend! Even when i called customer service they were very friendly and eager to help and that always makes a difference!

This is the second time I've rented a unit at this Public Storage location. It's a great location for what we're needing. Jacob was such a huge help getting everything set up!

This manager was paid for to belittle me, I just got the storage room went in the storage room to put my belongings in the storage room and came out of the storage room to get some air and the manager seen me and told me I couldn't live in the storage room, I just got there ten minutes ago, I was not going to live in the storage room, Mauldin, South Carolina. this is really ridiculous

Pays to shop. You cant get moved in for the $1 for the first month special. You also have to pay a $25 application fee, and $11 for insurance if you dont have it and $19 for their cylinder lock should "by chance" your lock wont work on their storage unit. It all stinks!

Great place and very helpful staff especially for the price. Maybe a dolly in the storage units might be my only suggestion, other than that glad to have chosen this facility.

My husband and I went to check it out for future reference for when we move. Mrs. Brooke was extremely helpful and informative. We will definitely be using you guys for storage when we move. Wish more places had pleasant customers service like this. Hard to find nowadays.

This location is great for me, near my home and in between work. The Staff/Mrs.Brooke that was working, Really, Really helped me out and she was very patient with me while I was deciding on which of the three units to choose from, that she also patiently showed me all three of them. Brooke was extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and very professional. The best customer service I have ever had. 🙂 Above and beyond what I expected from a storage place.

Storage was old and musty, but the price was right originally. Raised prices 60 percent over the course of 15 months, but the office is closed several days a week and it seems the place gets cleaned or maintained less than before. Had an issue with being charged a full month at moveout, but the senior district manager made it a point to respond to my review and do the right thing. Updating my rating to 3 stars as a result.
