I stopped in on 10/17/24 just to see what was available and found the two people at the desk to be extremely helpful and accommodating of what I needed.

Kami and Angie were both wonderful to work with. So kind and pleasant. This place is always really safe, clean and smells nice. I’ve been a customer for a few years and there is no other place I’d rather be. I highly recommend both this place and this wonderful staff.

I've had a really good experience with this Public Storage location so far! The manage (I believe her name was Cami) was available on my move in day was able to answer any questions I had as well as show me to my unit and help familiarize me with all of the lock systems. The space is really clean, climate controlled, secure, and easily accessible!

Price increased every few months. Notices of late payments include threats of selling your belongings. Ladies, that work in the office are nice and have no control over the policies. They take pictures of your belongings if you are 2 weeks late. This is storage. I frequently paid late due to the due dates of .y necessary bills. Make sure you pay all that'd due before the 1st of the following month or they can sell all your stuff! I've never seen such questionable practices. I do not recommend using this establishment. I hope to never have to store anything ever again. If I do? It will not be Public Storage.

We have been renting from public storage for many years. Through all those years we have received help from various employees but none that compares to Kami. She offers help every time we see her and always works with us to resolve issues. She really cares about her job and we feel very comfortable reaching out to her whenever we need help. We would recommend this location mainly because of Kami's willingness to provide whatever support we need. She is wonderful!!

My family has had various units at this facility over the years and every time we need help, Kami is always so willing, going above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need. She is so flexible, patient and kind. We feel so much better when she is there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came to this location on Friday, August 2, 2024 to rent a storage unit. Kami showed us around the facility, let us tour the actual 10x30 climate-controlled unit that we have now rented and she was exceptionally helpful!!! She was one of the nicest and sincere customer service representatives that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting!! I give this facility a 10/10 and Kami a 100/10 😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I wish they had a sled more (2 currently) and I've never seen the 2nd elevator operational. But otherwise it's convenient and pretty clean, compared to other storage facilities I've been to/rented

You need to buy more carts. It’s unacceptable to only have one cart available to the public. Oh but you have more in the office that I can get with an ID! Great except half the time there is nobody even in the office. It’s been months of this now. Plus it’s nice that you raise the rent on me every few months. I’m sure I can get an equivalent storage unit for less elsewhere, which is what I will be doing if this problem isn’t fixed Also elevator is always filthy

I give this place one star so people will see my rating and take heed...I highly advise anybody who cares about thier belongings to never cone to public storage on mcausland Ave. They have a filthy establishment. They are very non Profesional the district manager imrdidiatly evicted me for (( asociation))?? I helped a homeless woman. Whom they evicted and most likely will own all of her belongings if she can't cone up with the fines and her prior rent owed...I had a 10 hour notice to vacate the poroperty...they back dated the emails tjey sent me witch is the most sadky opersted dirtbag maneuver ive come across... thedistric manager is a vowRdly little man abd they justwsn your things ...dont go there its a hoax..email

Clean and well managed.

Heidi is an amazingly helpful young woman. But there are things beyond her control. There looked to be people who were living in the facility after staff had left for the day. That cannot be helped if they have access to the building with a code and no one reports it. When my daughter and I left after dropping off some things the elevators were clean building tidy. We came back with a second load right before 9 pm. There were people in the building belongings strewn all over the loading area trash etc. a child running about with a dog. No adults in sight. The building was secure at this time and we could not drop anything off. The next morning at about 8 am we came back entered the elevator and the stench of human urine etc. was disgusting if clients say nothing this behavior will persist. We called customer service and alerted Heidi who I am certain will look into the matter. All in all the building is clean Heidi and Morgan are great. Hopefully Heidi will get corporate assistance to take care of this matter and clients will make staff aware of unsafe situations. While we were entering a person was trying to sneak in when the gate rose. I hope that this will be a safe and clean place for our property.

Beware, they do raise the rent. Clean, well maintained, I have nothing but good things to say about the on site management. The space I paid $207 for last month is being advertised by them now for $156. I was a long time customer, also. Edit- I changed the star rating to 4, as I received a call from a manager and was offered a competitive rate on the unit I am renting.

A very clean,warm and secure storage facility, Ease of access once you have rented a unit is outstanding. I rented a unit contactless and it took all of 10 minutes or less I am VERY happy so far and I don't see that changing.

Jasmine has been great at Mccausland and I also go to Barrett Station and Kami has been a huge help as well.

Through the last few years we have had multiple storage units at the McCausland location in St.Louis. The management is always helpful and prompt to answering questions about storage facility accommodations and or rules, …. We appreciate the staff in the office/store, and I personally recommend this business to my friends and family, “Clean & safe place for storing your belongings.”

I wouldn’t even give this facility a full star… this place needs to be fumigated for BED BUGS. I didn’t even think something like this could happen.. We rented a 5 by 5 indoor unit for 6 months and then when they raised our monthly payment from $36 to $54 we decided we would rather just move our stuff out and back into our house… We emptied our unit out and and it took about a month and a half until we realized we had bed bugs.. let me also note that we have not traveled anywhere and all of our furniture has been bought brand new over the course of two years so this was not something that we had previously. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from here.. it’s not worth the headache & the extremely rude staff is just the cherry on top

I would not recommend this location or this company. Their customer service is terrible both in store and through their customer service line. You're told one thing just to get you to render services through their company and once you signed the contract they no longer care. I worked with Alexus back in December when renting unit. During that time I asked her if I would be charged for a full month if I moved out of my unit at the beginning of the month. I was told that I would only be charged for the time I actually utilized the unit. Fast forward to today, I spoke with a girl by the name of Jasmine who was rude and stated that I would be charged the full month of services because that is their policy and she doesn't know why someone would tell me something different. I've rented storage unit with other companies that provide great customer service and reasonable prices. I recommend you to work with them. Ez Storage and Life Storage I highly recommend. Revised review: After a having a bad experience with this location I was able to speak with the district manager to get a clear understanding on their policies. James was very empathic about the situation and took the time to listen to my concerns. After our conversation I felt a lot better and willing to do business with this company in the future. Thank you James for providing not only great customer service and professionalism but also showing that your company is committed to great customer satisfaction.

Very positive experience and on short notice too. Alexis helped me and was polite, professional, and welcoming. She answered my questions effectively and with zero pressure. I enjoyed renting from her. The units available on property matched what was stated online (not a given at many storage places). The facility was clean, well lit, and well-kept. Renting was easy and quick - plus lots of helpful details provided by phone or email (I wanted both to not lose key info). Would recommend.

I absolutely would not consider renting here. I was at this location for two months and I got a notice my rate was increasing by 50%. This was particularly discouraging as I was told when moving in I likely would have the same rate for a year. I called at that point and spoke with a manager who couldn’t do anything, but told me if I saw another increase in the next year to call again. Of course about six months later I got another notification it was increasing 50% again. I did call and nothing could be done for me locally and they suggested I called customer service who also didn’t care to help. So in one year my price doubled. I haven’t had a chance to move my stuff, but I certainly will shortly.
