So after my Mother passed we moved quite a bit of stuff into storage, After a few months I get a call from PS stating water came into my unit causing over $2k in damage on custom made furniture. Since we needed to obviously move the stuff to another until they moved me to a larger unit at the promise of the smaller unit price. Months have gone by and I saw on my statement my rental is going up by $50 extra a month. I called and spoke to the same manager that called me about the damage and she didn't even remember the flooding and had to remind her of everything that happen and to be honest sounded like she didn't even care. So of course the rate went up due to the current economic climate and they will not honor what was promised me. The alternative that was given to me was to move the furniture yet again to a smaller unit, Seriously? I was told the increase notice was sent to me in September, Of course I never received it but they said they mailed it. So here we are going from $130 to $185 a month, So things were damaged, had to move my items, prices were promised, promises are being taken back, and might have to move my items yet again. Think again about coming here folks.....

I walked into the storageof East Piedmont road and met an awesome woman named Ebony that answered questions for my very first time of trying to get a storage unit. Talk about patience and very helpful. As she handled other customers. She was still attentive to my needs.

We had a leak that left most of our possessions covered in mold. However the customer service was lovely. Ebony in the front office pushed to get us the help we needed and get us moved to another unit. Can't recommend the facility but the people are very kind.

Not a bad location but just a heads up that if you use climate control and store things close to walls, it will grow some mold. The imposed and unsolicited rent increases do not make the storage worth it.

I had such an easy transition moving using Public Storage. Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful throughout the process, especially Celeste! Celeste helped me set up my account, find the right location, and followed up with me throughout the process.

No one is ever in the office on the day weekends even though you all are suppose to be open

Run away from them. Do not trust this organization! They are a rip-off company. The price IS NOT WORTH INCREASES ALL THE TIME! All I've had here was promised lies and bait and switch tactics! I HATE PUBLIC STORAGE WITH A PASSION!!!

If you’re looking for a place to store your personal belongings with amazing customer service, this location is the place to go. Ebony helped me get my unit for my business inventory and she helped me so much and was extremely nice!

They go up on your rent continuously and never give a heads up. Having a unit inside you're charged for AC yet their AC was "not working" for God knows how long. When I went from my unit to the office the lady told me that the AC was just fixed. If that's the case it wouldn't have just been extremely hot in there. There's a long period of time that they didn't have rollable things for bringing stuff in. The only reason they got more was because someone threatened to sue for hurting himself bringing stuff without it being there to roll things on.

Good storage, but you have to know how to avoid their slippery tricks. First: The price doubles after the first month (fine print) and then goes up 25% every four months. This is extremely important because, if you’re on Autopay; you will NOT be notified. Also, if you look at the online pricing, it might say $100 …but PS places a cookie on your browser.. when you recheck the price, or go back to sign up, it’s $115. Get someone else to check on THEIR phone and they’ll see the previous $100. Go ahead and have THEM reserve the space for you. The only way to LOCK THE RENT is to prepay it. Beware. What I mean by that is, that’s how it’s supposed to go. But not always: It is very important if you’re going to prepay it, to make sure the cost remains ‘Rent - times - 12’. Because…. They quietly put a 20% insurance upcharge in there, and if YOU do not catch it: Too Bad For You. So, they’re extremely slippery and underhanded. But now you’re informed. Recap: Check prices on ONE phone, rent from ANOTHER. Get your OWN insurance. Watch for insurance to be added to ANY total or prepayment you ask for. EXPECT the rent to go up 60% over 12 months especially on Autopay. If you want to lock the rent, you have to pre-pay it, but GET the total, and make sure that they did not build in a price increase, NOR INSURANCE to the pre-pay.

Just set up a storage unit at the Piedmont location...Ebony was really friendly, she walked me thru the process and answered all my questions.

Beware of MOLD, MOLD this facility is full of mold. This management was told for over a year there was a water leak and a mildew problem and they did absolutely nothing about it which caused several persons to get mold on their items. This was willful negligence on the part of public storage management. Some previous tenants are considering a class action. They also do not keep the bathrooms functional or the elevators functional. On several occasions tenants have been trapped in the elevators and there was no emergency system to get help. Only because another tenant heard them screaming they were able to get help because cell phones do not work in the elevators and they had no functioning emergancy sustem. The elevators were not up to date with inspections which is a code violation. The gate is not functional and there are rats running around everywhere. All of these items were brought to the attention of management and absolutely nothing was done about it. If you have items in these storage units I would encourage you to go and check your items for mold.

An absolute nightmare. The gate is broken, and nobody ever thought to reach out and tell anyone? Thats small compared to the fact that the temperature and moisture level inside the building is out of control. My entire unit was filled with mold, which destroyed anything soft. My sofa, a mattress, a huge rug, pillows, etc, etc, etc. The unit was STUPIDLY expensive for what it was. I’m hemorrhaging thousands of dollars buying new items. The insurance payout MAX is $250. The damage is over 3k. This place will ruin your stuff, be rude as HELL about it, and do nothing to help you. Run screaming. Straight up theft.

Nice little tucked away storage facility. There are less than a thousand units so there's not too much traffic in and out. Door to the building automatically shuts to keep the building climate controlled. It stays open with a timer-controlled door magnet for convenience. Units are at least 10 ft high so I stacked shelving to the ceiling and I have way more stuff stored away than I ever thought I could in a 5 x 5 unit. I lost a phone there and the office held it for me after it was turned in by a good samaritan. Professional staff, good grounds keep, and tall units will keep me coming back. Ebony TD was a pleasure to do business with. She set me up same day and addressed all of my concerns.

During my visit, Shykia, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and supportive. She patiently answered all of my questions and provided clear explanations. I was impressed by her professionalism and wish that all public storage facilities had staff like her.

Tammy was very knowledgeable very helpful and one thing about it I was so discouraged about even dealing with a public storage unit until I came and met Tammy I've been to two other units prior and this one was a stop it wasn't the fact that it was my last stop because I could have went 4.5 miles down the road probably and obtain a different unit but Tammy was very very professional and I will recommend this place this public storage to a lot of people and I'm also a business owner so definitely Tammy gets a five-star rating from me

- Take a tour and ASK YOURSELF, DOES THIS PLACE SMELL CLEAN AND FRESH? There is little to no air movement, with plenty of moisture, the result? I HAD TO THROW OUT PLENTY OF ITEMS THAT HAD MOLD ON THEM (including a nice set of wooden tables that my parents left me.) I only wish I had taken more pictures so that I could share my experience with more people here. - They could use more carts. I got in the habit of bringing my own when I could. - The place appears to be staffed by one person at a time, so if they are on the property, they are not in the office. Some days it appears nobody is there at all, despite the business hours listed on the door.

This place sucks. The climate control is useless because the doors are left open to the building. You cant get intouch with anyone in person here. No one in the office. Every phone number is automayed. They will only text with you. I complained about my stuff getting ruined because of the doors being open and no one reaching out to me after multiple attempts to have my issue resolved and they disabled my gate code instead because i missed one phone call. Do not recommend storing here.

Staff is nice and the buildings are well lit, but the climate control does not keep the humidity down and I had to throw out several things including a mattress because of mold and mildew. They increase the rates very often.

If I can give a -1000 ranking to this place, I would. This branch of public storage has been a nightmare to deal with. After only a few months. (4?), the rate went from $140 to $170. I was put in touch with a supervisor who approved lowering down the price to $140 again. They convinced me I can keep the storage for the old rate and not have to empty it out. As it turns out, I was only given a credit but they keep the same $170 rate. I was about to book a flight to GA to empty the unit but cancelled it. Now they are charging me at the jacked-up price. I have other units in other branches in GA. But this branch in Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA 30062 has been an utter nightmare- misleading, dishonest communication and unreliable managers. Stay away, and avoid like a plague.

I’ve had a unit at this facility since late October. Angelica has been such a pleasure to interact with. She’s been so helpful and always patient with me when I call and ask the same questions each month. I like this storage facility and the staff has been excellent. Angelica is a great asset for the Public Storage Company and I’m glad she’s at my local spot.

I've been at this Public Storage for several years. Gelly is a great site manager. There have only been a few problems and she has always gotten them taken care quickly! Great location!
