NOT A STORAGE UNIT FOR THE AVERAGE WORK FORCE OR FAMILY the hours keep you from YOUR PROPERTY ..The price for the promotion was fantastic however if you have a job children or a life this storage facility is a trap they are open from 9:30 to 6pm which means it’s impossible to use except on the weekends for the average person it is in a safe location if you have an rv it’s easy to pull it through but the gate doesn’t work well and my lock you in or almost try to hit your property I am reaching out to management to see if they can extend at least the hours to the door to have access to my unit after the sun goes down it feels so wrong to pay to store my stuff and be denied access to it before many kids even make it home from school 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 James and Dillion do a great with there customers hopefully the hours for this facility change and I can move back this was located in a great spot

Dillon at the Montclair location on 5570 Holt blvd. is an outstanding employee. He made the transfer of my storage place seamless and easy. He is a master of the technology needed to do it online and in office. He is all over the facility and right there when you need him.

Got stuff stolen out of my unit, security sucks here & never found or got my stuff back. Had a police report and everything. They never even called me to let me know till 5 days later the cops called me. Never again, rent elsewhere. Not a safe place for your things.

Rented a small unit at public storage The place is super clean and Lisa help me with all my needs

As a Combat Veteran, my heart is heavy as I share my experience with Public Storage. Picture this - a year and two months of diligently paying for my storage while I battled homelessness. After four long years on the streets, I finally secured an apartment - a blessing that, ironically, left me unable to cover my storage fees. Expecting a glimmer of understanding, I sought help from Public Storage, but to my dismay, no employee, in person or on the phone, showed an ounce of sympathy. Yesterday, on the eve of Veterans Day, my storage unit was auctioned off, and with it, I lost everything. Official paperwork, VA documents, discharge paperwork, clothes, shoes - all gone. Even when a non-profit offered to settle my bill, willing to pay by check for proper record-keeping, the district manager turned a cold shoulder. Public Storage, it seems, only cares about your money, oblivious to your circumstances, regardless of how long you've been a loyal customer. This heart-wrenching incident exposes Public Storage's disregard for the Veteran community, the neighborhoods they operate in, and every individual they serve. They should be celebrating a Veteran's triumph over PTSD, homelessness, and depression, not contributing to the very struggles we fought to overcome. This Veterans Day, I stand stripped of my possessions, questioning whether having a place was worth losing everything. Public Storage, in their pursuit of profit, has forgotten the human stories behind their customers. I give them absolutely zero stars!! Happy Veterans Day

Infested with rats they pooped and chewed up a lot of my things, horrible hours they close at 6pm and crazy high rates i was paying over a hundred for an 5x5 space.Management will micromanage and be rude to you.Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

I have literally had nothing but issues with this place!! First the fact that they are only open during working hours is so ridiculous. On top of that I'm trying to get in my space after paying my past due bill and they are supposed to be open!! Came yesterday they were not here. I'm here when they open this morning, STILL NOBODY HERE...... THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS

Predatory treatment, fake deceptive customer service not making adjustments to billing while sending out threats regarding my property because I simply have sense not to pay a incorrect bill where showing overcharging, imposed fines and fees I do not owe . Property manager Lisa and claims she cannot assist me nor does she have information to provide me to get help

Hate them, you go to office and no we will be right back sign. You call the number on the door and your on hold forever. Been on hold 25 mins while I am writing this. Going to find another storage. Avoid if you can . They raise rates and give you no notice as well. Hate them

Rat infestation. Disgusting. Ruined thousands of dollar worth of my items. Insurance only covers up to $250 and they force you to pay it EVERY month in addition to your rent (that they keep raising btw) 😡 Can't wait to get my stuff out. Ps. Try to avoid storage places. It's a trap.

This is my 2nd time experience with the company Public Storage. First time was a direct contact since my mom was the one that rented the space. Let me tell you, my experience was extremely amazing. Specifically due to the fact that the rep, named Lisa that worked there, unsure if she’s the manager or an associate. If she isn’t a manager she darn should be. She gave such excellent customer service. She was so informative, I asked everything and anything I possibly could. She was extremely patient, I initially reserved a smaller space but next day came to realize I needed their larger space and thankfully they had one available. She was so nice and didn’t look annoyed when I asked her multiple times to show me all the different spaces and helped me with the lock. Never a time she didn’t have a genuine smile. She made me feel important, that my items were valued, and that protected. I haven’t had any experience with any other employees there but Lisa is amazing! Thank you for being kind and so helpful. My husband and I appreciate you. Rating based on my personal move in experience and Lisa’s excellent customer service

My experience at this Public Storage was great! I’ve never rented a storage unit but the nice worker Lisa made it so easy! She helped my friend and I check in and even showed us to the unit and made sure we knew how to open/lock it. She even helped us work the app and figure out how to open the gates as well. Very nice lady and made this process so easy. I’m giving Lisa a 5/5!

I have been with this location for a few years now and have always received great customer service. Lauren was excellent in assisting me with a concern about the status of my unit. She was efficient and helped me resolve my questions on my balance as well. She was very easy to talk to which is helpful as I was stressed about even calling in. The location is always clean and I love my unit that is temperature controlled which is need for the items I am storing. Thank you Montclair Team you're doing an excellent job.
