Don’t go here, the person at the front doesn’t give you full details tricking you into a lease and then when you trying to get everything out, they lock you out. They have no remorse toward hard working people who are trying to make it and to try and still get everything out. The person that answered wouldn’t even budge just repeating her policy. They have no heart for people. They just add into people’s list of problems.
I would give FIVE stars to Lauren, she is so very helpful. Lauren is overworked. She’s there by herself so much of the time and she has to lock up when she wants to go out on the property so if you’re there to see her then you have to wait. That is very annoying. But the biggest reason I did not give five stars over all is because of the rate increases. Every six months they increase the rent 25%! That is what is unacceptable to me. I was there for a year and that is the reason I’m leaving. Maybe that’s what it takes to keep the property so clean and secure (I don’t think so, I am pretty sure it’s corporate greed) but if I had stayed like I wanted to it would’ve been up over $1000 in a couple years. I have no complaints about the property itself. It is immaculate and it is highly secure. Five stars to Lauren and five stars to the property itself and two stars for the company.

This spot was perfect for my location but they don’t let you use bathrooms unless you paid for the first floor. I’m on the second floor.

So, my experience at public storage was great! I reserved my storage online while at work, and Lauren called to follow up and answer all my questions. I started moving my things into storage later that day, and Lauren was so helpful, understanding, and communicated with me on the ease of going in and out of storage. Lauren went over all policies and did an exceptional job overall! My wife and I felt so comfortable and relaxed moving things into our new storage, knowing if we had questions or concerns, Lauren would help answer those and make sure we had everything we needed for our move. I made the decision to store my merchandise at the Public Storage in Montclair on 5548 Arrow Hwy. i have dealt with the Manager Lauren who is always very helpful and on 2 occasions i have dealt with Nicole who has been like a Breath of fresh Air. At this location the 1st thing i noticed was how spacious & clean the office is inside. This location is super convenient and is within walking distance from where i live.
Place stinks. Literally it seems homeless stay here. Borrowing a cart is a joke. You need an ID but just hope someone is at the front desk or you’re pushing your boxes 📦 in the ground. It’s 2pm and no one here. Not the first time. $50+ rate increase and not to mention storage gates close at 5pm! Find someplace else
I would like to add one note. The rate, facility and procedures in place are in regard to my negative review. The property manager Lauren is wonderful and does what she can to make things work when her hands are tied.
I had the best customer experience thanks to Nicole, she knew the answers to every question I had and was very helpful in showing me two separate units. The place was also clean and I could tell they really care for the customers! If you go ask for Nicole!

I have several Units and RV Parking at Public Storage on Arrow Highway in Montclair, CA.
The manager of this facility (Lauren) is just the BEST person to work with for our needs. We travel from VA to CA and usually very tired when we arrive. Lauren has helped us transition from Multiple smaller units into 1 large unit and right near the door as well as looking out for me to have a place to park our Van.
I wish more people were as helpful and thoughtful representing their employer. Lauren is a pleasure to work with and moving forward, I know if I have a need, she will make it happen. To Public Storage, pay her MORE money, she is worth every penny.

This past weekend, my girlfriend and me were moving everything from her unit into a larger space. It's an hour-plus drive for us to get out to Montclair so we wanted to get it all done in one afternoon. The property manager, Lauren, could not have been more helpful in getting everything taken care of before, during and afterwards.
Lauren went above and beyond to really hear my girlfriend's concerns about moving an entire's career worth of photographic work into a larger unit and what would be needed before we got there. The process was so simple and we couldn't be more thankful that Lauren was there to help us out throughout what can feel like a difficult and never-ending process. Getting in and out is efficient and it is a nice space. We have been customers for longer than I can remember. But, the elevators are old. My rent goes up regularly, started at $50 for a 5ft x 10 ft space, up to $192 now. Our unit is on the 3rd floor...went today to pick up some containers, and both elevators are out. They said I could use the stairs. Right! I'm 63 with bad knees, and my husband is 66 with bad knees. They claim it will be fixed by tomorrow. We shall see. How do both elevators go out at the same time.
Follow up: The manager got back to me right away regarding the elevator situation and even lowered my monthly rate. They provided excellent follow up customer service and it was much appreciated So, I changed my rating. Thank you.

I’m a 2022 holiday seasonal UPS personal vehicle driver and I’m working out of the public storage in Montclair. Just wanted to say that Lauren rocks!! She’s so friendly, polite and accommodating. I have to load packages in the parking lot few hours before opening and sometimes Lauren let’s us in to use the bathroom before I do my deliveries. The place is very clean and secure.
