I recently began renting a Public Storage storage unit and I couldn’t be happier. From the beginning, the process was easy and smooth. I was able to do a lot online and I also downloaded the app. I phoned the on-site person to find out more about the specific unit I would get and he was helpful. When I went to get the key to the unit, The Public Storage person (name Lemlem) was friendly and showed me how to access the building and my specific unit.
The Public Storage building and unit are ‘climate controlled’, modern, clean, well lit and well-made and secure.
Public Storage was a great choice.
This 5 star review is for Spencer only, I truly hate this place but enjoy him. I’ve been using public storage for 3 years now and the people that work here are not kind. Lucky for us we get Spencer every once in a while. He’s a very kind and understanding human being and sees others as such. I truly cannot wait until I can get out of this mess of a building but will be sad to know I won’t see Spencer anymore. Hailey or Hayley however you spell it should be fired for constantly power tripping on costumers. She wants to do her job so bad she’s willing to speak over you & yell at you when she should really be trying to find solutions to better meet your needs & listening to the costumers questions. How can you help when you’re just screaming at people on the phone? She should be better trained and whoever did train her should be to blame for her psychotic behavior & scare tactics. She literally threatens to throw your stuff away for asking a simple question. Spencer truly deserves good things and great success. Spencer should honestly be training your employees. Don’t meet many people with that great or communication skills, he’s calm so no going back and forth with clients, he’s just overall a great asset and the only reason why this location is probably still in business.

We recently got set up with a new unit. Lemlem helped us set up some of the advanced settings so that it worked the way we wanted it to. This is a really great, secure storage facility and all of the staff are friendly and helpful.
Elevators smell bad. Just pulled up. No cars. But the 3 carts are missing.

The building needs a security update, perhaps more cameras, as my unit was robbed. .
I had a AirTag and tracked my possessions to another unit … police failed to act.
Public Storage management got the locksmith and got my stuff back.
Thankful I caught the burglary the day of, so I managed to get 95% of my belongings, however the thief did steal an expensive music bag and important documents.
The units can easily be ‘cherry picked’ to rob: using a ladder anyone can look over the door of anyone’s* unit and see what’s inside.
Once you pick a storage unit to rob, any power drill can drill through the lock and break into the unit.
Management have been the only ones to act. The police tried to “self incriminate” the locksmith for opening the burglars unit.

**** upgrade security! And /or buy some long strips of sheet metal and block those 18” gaps above everyone’s storage door, so people can’t see what’s inside everyone’s unit.
Haley was awesome. She helped me find my phone when I misplaced it inside my unit!
SCAM!!! If you speak with customer service over the phone, beware, they aren’t properly trained on how to do their job correctly!! Tracy is her name, and she will put you in the wrong unit. Not only did she book the wrong accommodation, Public Storage isn’t able to fix their employees mistakes!! I didn’t need my storage unit until a week after I initially, hesitantly, booked reservations. Somehow, even after providing move in dates, I was charged the same day, and my storage unit time already began. I didn’t mind that, thinking the unit was going to be what I asked for. Now three days before I have to vacate my apartment and begin storing furniture and a vehicle in what was supposed to be a 10x20 drive in garage unit; I find out it’s not what I asked for. It’s a parking spot located outside. Speaking with the manager in person their supervisor over the phone, my problem still wasn’t resolved. Instead they wanted me to pay more money!!! Claiming they would prorate the payment for the next month. I was only supposed to pay $1 the first month and $219 a month forthright. Now they want me to pay $280 initially and $410 monthly. I think the public storage company needs to get their work ethic together and offer greater customer support services to their customers. Overall horrible experience, on top of having to vacate my apartment in the next two days. Customer service also needs to be less concerned about receiving financial reciprocity, and lean more towards securing the customers storage space.

It is such a relief when you can find a very clean and well kept storage. Public Storage has great air conditioned units and some have lights inside. I had to upgrade my unit and Haley was wonderful helping me with the process. She is a professional and will do the best to help you maneuver the storage process. I strongly recommend for you to deal with Haley as she is very knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to help you. She truly deserves a raise. I visited this location the other day and Haley the girl working there was so great! Very helpful and informative, she showed me two different sized units and was very patient with me and my questions. She even let me take pictures of the two units to show the wife before we make a decision on a unit.

Bathroom was broken and the parking lot is a bit awkward. Loading/Unloading zone is fine though.

My time here was largely smooth and unremarkable, which for a storage place is good.
The 24/7 access meant I could come and go whenever I wanted and I didn't need the assistance of someone on site to get access to my storage.
The only two things of note that made me eventually terminate my time there were the increasing of rent prices and the mechanical maintenance of their elevators. When my partner and I started renting the price per month was a reasonable 70-80 dollar range, but after a year the price per month was nearly double that.
As for the elevators one of them needed repeated maintenance and even when it was functioning it would grind open and closed and emit a loud warning sign at times like it was about to break down. The other elevator had no such problems so each time I went I would ensure I used only that one instead. I was told that multiple attempts for repairs had been made but over time the problem would start returning for that affect elevator.
When it was my time to leave I scheduled an appointment and then met with the on site worker Lemlem who made closing out my account easy and without problem.
Stored things here for a year and had no problems. I just recently got a bigger place so I don’t need it any more. Lemlem was very helpful during the move out process.

We were told that an employee had to do an inspection with us before we could cancel our contract. So we came at 3:30 in the afternoon on August 30 to get them to do so. No one was in the office, it was locked up, even though the sign said it was open. We tried for 2 hours with no luck, and we searched the entire building, to make sure that there wasn't an employee of walking around somewhere else. So apparently the employees can just show up and leave whenever they want to without notice? Of course, now this means that we're going to be charged for September as well-- All because somebody couldn't finish their shift. We shouldn't have to keep paying just because no one showed up to do their job.
Also, we've only been using Public Storage for a year, yet our rate has gone up three different times, every time without a single notice. No email, no letter, nothing. So apparently Public Storage can just raise your rates whenever they want to. And if you have a problem with it, too bad because there's nobody working.
The icing on the cake was the person living in their car in the parking lot for the first 6 months that we were here. At least that person's gone now. But don't come to this place without watching who you let in and out of the building.
It's a tiny little storage unit that had almost nothing in it. This shouldn't be so complicated to cancel, and the rent sure as heck shouldn't have gone up three times in one year.

I forgot to update this a long time ago. These guys could possibly be the worst of the worst when it comes to storage units. They are overpriced, unfriendly, my ex-girlfriends nonverbal autistic child was forced to urinate outside, rather than in a bathroom because the staff was to lazy to unlock a door. The door I speak of opens to the first floor of storage units that cost the same amount as all the other floors, yet it's the only one that has a bathroom. If you need to go, then you have to go to the office and will be lucky to find someone in there. If you do find someone, they are rude, and very unwilling to help. When they are not in the office, they are wandering around just to harass to customers for no reason at all. If they aren't doing that, they are hiding out in a unit that my ex and I literally caught them hanging out in. We were going through a very rough time and they made it so much worse.

I have been a customer for over a year now and had upgraded to a 10 x 15 unit. Unfortunately for us renters prices do increase due to demand and availability. My cost was going to increase drastically monthly. To my luck Jennifer is such a professional and helpful person that she was able to get a 3-month extension on my current lease. This is my first time getting a storage unit. I lucked out because after another PS location had me on hold for over fifteen minutes, I called this location and Hailey was super responsive and scheduled a time for me to come in and see the units an hour later, which is what I needed because I was getting the run around. Hailey allowed me to see units of different sizes and gave me an overview of how PS keeps the facility secure and clean. The building looks well-maintained. Thanks for making this happen, Hailey.

I was received very well at public storage located on 18237 Aurora avenue North. The manager Jen was a wonderful in helping out and you know give me familiar with the grounds and locations and how the security and everything you know breaking me in and she's been a great help since then as well I'll give this place five stars any day of the week I live across the street and it's convenient but the service it stands their customer service inside that I've experienced is a five-star in the stands Head and shoulders above whatever counted elsewhere.

I have been with public storage many times in my life. When I came in to this facility in shoreline I met a woman I will never forget. I was looking for a storage unit I could see first. Jen, the on site manager, showed me a unit so I could visualize the size, and answered all my questions before I signed up. Super helpful and made the process very efficient and pain free. I appreciated Jen’s help a lot. Would recommend!
The process was really easy to complete online, all I had to do was show the woman in the office, Jen, my ID and I was ready to start storing stuff! Jen was very nice and even offered to walk me to my unit. The facilities look brand new and very well taken care of. I feel very safe storing my antique piano and pinball machine here.

Nice new climate controlled building . They clean everything except the elevators . Haven't used any stainless steel cleaner in 4 months so far! Handprints and footprints like a germ mosaic on the walls
Update - now the carpet in elevator is gross too. Update : some better employees have made things look better & my trips to the office for moving supplies were very good. Staff was quick and efficient.
I would still like to see a daily wipe down of the two elevator buttons and handprints .in the elevator. They need to use stainless polish.

Horrible experience. Had reserved a unit, got there during business hours and nobody was there. 20 minutes later an employee came out and was the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. We left and went a block up the street and received amazing service. Public still hasn’t refunded me money. I’m going through the Better Business Bureau.
They promised that you will be able to access your storage unit from 6 AM until 9 AM however the system is frequently off-line and they don’t have any 24 hour service number so if you only want to access your belongings from 9:30 AM until 2 PM when the office manager is in the office then please use the storage facility. Otherwise I would look for another one that maybe has a more functional access system
The young woman who assisted us was cordial, very helpful and knowledgeable.
We have been looking for a storage unit for a few weeks. When we arrived at this public storage Gabrielle answered all of our questions and showed us an available unit. She was very patient and we felt very comfortable with her.
We rented a unit online this morning and went to this facility. Again, Gabrielle was there to greet us and answer more questions with patience and kindness. She handled all of our issues effectively and confidently. She took pride in keeping the facilities clean. We were very impressed with her!
We have heard nightmare stories about renting units at storage facilities. Gabrielle made our renting experience very pleasant and because of her we feel confident in our choice to rent at this Public Storage facility.
Overall a good experience!
The only downside is due to only having one main entrance with two elevators it can get crowded during busy days like the weekend. But great place!

Had rented an indoor storage unit here before going out of town, there was a massive break in last year while I was out of town, Public Storage never notified me that my unit had been broken into, and the thieves had replaced my lock with their lock on my unit!
I came back and realized my key did not work, Public Storage didn't help me at all in getting access to my unit even though it was obvious my lock had been drilled and replaced. When I finally accessed my unit all of my stuff had been ransacked and my valuables stolen. Again I never received any help or information from them throughout this entire process. No apology or anything from Public Storage.
I'm also writing this review for the second time because it appears they had my first review deleted. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION, THE REVIEWS ARE NOT ACCURATE AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT SAFE OR MONITORED. How was there a massive break in but customer never informed? My unit is visible from the cameras as well, so it is absurd. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an inside job from the people there.

While there are many appreciative qualities (security, climate control, outstanding locks, insurance, etc.), the way the rate has raised multiple times in the last few months has been of concern. According to the rental agreement, there was to be 30-days notice before a rate hike, which was not received before any of them.
