Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 23010 Highway 99, Edmonds, WA

These guys price gouge like crazy sure it is like 285$too move In but within six months expect to pay 485$ customer service is crap employees are rude. Trojan is half the price and they don’t raise the price on you every month.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE!!! I got a call the other week that my unit’s hardware was cut, not my lock, while I was out of the country. They wouldn’t tell me over the phone whether or not it has been cleared out. When I got back into town and showed up, there was no one at the office. It’s been 6 days and I still have not been contacted by the property manager to get access to the unit to see what was stolen. I’ve left messages and called corporate. Still nothing. If that is not enough, most of the units have been tampered with or have new hardware (indicating previous break-ins). This place is not secure and they know it!!!

I got a unit for around $50 + insurance $15.. w/tax comes to $75. This is way more than we wanted to spend already. Just last night I received a notice the rent is going to be increasing ..so now we are being charged just shy $100 for a tiny 5x5 unit. **UPDATE I contacted Public Storage and they decided to delay any increases to our unit for 3 months. I guess it's something. Still not good enough though. We are probably going to be looking elsewhere.

Rats are in my unit and the eight $400 worth of storage deductible plus max payout for rats 250 if he continue to rent which is 300 plus dollars per month so I move out as fast as possible

Parking spots outside are not marked well but was told they will be painting new numbers soon. They were helpful once I realized I could not park my trailer where originally assigned.

I had a really disappointing experience at Public Storage due to a severe water leakage issue in my storage unit. On 7/22, I noticed water seeping from the ceiling/pipelines and immediately tried to reach the property manager for help. Unfortunately, my attempts went unanswered, and I didn't get any response to my calls. Initially, I had hoped to salvage a few items from my storage, but the situation got worse, and I ended up having to remove everything to prevent further damage. It was disheartening to see my mattress and boxes soaked with water, making them completely unusable. Despite several days passing since the incident, the management hasn't offered any support or assistance. Finally, they got back to me yesterday, and told me they will give me a prorated refund for my early move-out due to the water leakage. But for the damage, the property manager only stated that they do not accept any responsibility for the damage caused. Despite the severity of the situation, I have not received any additional assistance or compensation whatsoever. To make matters worse, I had also purchased insurance as per Public Storage's recommendation from their website, paying $15 monthly. They had advertised coverage of up to $5000, but to my dismay, when I contacted them, they informed me that I could only get $250 back with a $100 deductible. This was a huge letdown, especially since my mattress alone costs $1400. I want to caution anyone considering using this storage facility. It seems quite old, and the exposed pipelines on the ceiling pose a significant risk of water damage. Unless you have no other option but to choose this facility, I strongly advise investing in waterproof covers to protect your belongings. All in all, my experience with Public Storage has been extremely unsatisfactory, and I can't honestly recommend their services to others.

As a new tenant, I have dealt with only one employee, Lori. I hope she is indicative of the other employees and the company: she arrived exactly on time, was knowledgeable and efficient, and helped me obtain precisely what I wanted.

Ive been here a few months , seems nice . Clean property and secure. The only thing i dont like is that ive gotta get out to push key pad....in and out. Thats not very customer friendly in todays tech world. Atleast have it be able to ac t ivate from my phone via an app or install pressure pads on exit side, and new key pads that allow me to access from my drivers seat

Security is a major issue. Break-ins are on the rise. Doors are/have been broken for well over a year. The building is infested with rodents as a result. I interrupted someone cutting a lock. He left the building shortless with bolt cutter and bad of tools in one have and a syringe in the other. Meanwhile rents keep climbing. The rats are enjoying my possession while I pay their rent.

My unit was recently broken into for the second time. Interestingly, no other units besides mine seem to have been broken into, and interestingly I just happened to have stored some boxes in the unit - empty boxes of high-priced electronics. No one else was around at the time I stored them, so my guess is that someone who works here saw security footage of me storing those boxes and thought they could score some high-value goods. Add to that the fact that they constantly raise the rent of current customers well above what they charge new customers, and I have to recommend that you look elsewhere, as I am now doing.

Storage units are a rip off (unless you own it) do yourself a favor buy a self contained trailer 8x14 appox (if you have a place to keep the trailer) you'll save a amazing amount of $

Latricia, Lori, and Sarah are the reason I haven’t thrown all my junk away and moved to Thailand!! There playful banter and comedic personality’s gives me one more reason to wake up in the morning!! Thank you for all you do! Oh and that waffle cup is still somewhere in my unit ‘inside joke’ Sarah would understand.

This storage facility needs a lot of TLC. The office was not inviting at all. Cement floors nothing on the walls. Very cold. The grounds and units were unkept and in disrepair. It looked abandoned from the road. Employee was great very nice and helpful.
