Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 20041 Ballinger Way NE, Shoreline, WA

I recommend finding a different company as there are constant rate hikes with Public Storage. When I initially got my unit, I got a great price of about $79/month for a 5'x10' unit. A couple months later, that price went up to $109, which I could still justify. However, I just received ANOTHER rate increase notice, less that 6 months after the last one increasing the monthly amount to $146. Needless to say, I'll be canceling our account and finding another storage facility.

Lem Lean gave the best customer service I’ve ever had with Public Storage. When I accidentally got charged for an extra month after moving out she called me and made sure i got refunded for the extra charge, went above and beyond during the check out process. Thank you Lem!

The prices are also very competitive in relation to the other storage units in the area. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. We rented a unit from out of state because we were relocating to the area. The process was extremely easy, fair prices, great hours, clean and secure. Very attentive professional caretakers, friendly, and always willing to help. We would definitely recommend this storage facility.

The storage unit is fine. Cleanliness of elevators is not great. Rates steadily go up each year and this past year was a huge increase - 160/mo for a 5x5. Needless to say, we left. It's exhausting to have to fight rate increases all the time.

Wow! I am really surprised that this place has the amount of positive ratings that it does, because My Experience with them was Far from Positive..! I paid on my unit Every single month faithfully,only being a few days late a few times.The last month that my stuff was in their facility,my payment was a about a month late though,,and I ended up sending 2 payments close together .While I did call and leave messages several times because they Never wanted to answer the phone! Somehow,( they claimed) that my next payment was late,though I know it wasn't.Anyway they didn't even contact me and let me know I was in danger of losing my stuff.They just sold it out from under me with NO WARNING WHATSOEVER,and I had been homeless so(,my kids and me) so there was a lot of personal and sentimental things in there that CAN NEVER BE REPLACED.😞It still makes me cry to think or talk about it.DONOT TRUST THIS STORAGE PLACE....They got away with my money AND my belongings...MIKE was the manager at the time.He's a very dirty liar..THANKS A LOT MIKE ..I sure hope he's been fired by now,so he can't hurt any other families like he's hurt mine ..I really wish I could give this place a lower rating than one star because they don't even deserve That!!!

Very friendly staff, clean place, with big heater inside the hallway for the inside units, very convenient area too! And very good security 👍🏽
