Have many years experience with a Public Storage location about a mile from this one. After years of not needing a unit, a downsizing move created a need again. After several hours searching web, putting units on “hold” only to be told that someone else had rented the unit I wanted and the deal was no longer available (seriously?!?!) I had the great fortune to talk to Cecilia at the 3700 Centreville Rd location. I can’t say enough good things about Cecilia and this location. She is professional, competent, efficient, and personable. Worked with us to get the original deal we wanted on a climate controlled unit by creatively working through her system. She is a somewhat rare customer service rep these days that is fully invested in making sure you are completely satisfied. The location is spotless and convenient. Cecilia is an absolute gem and if I owned this location, I would do everything possible to make sure she’s happy. Highly recommended!

I had an 11:00 a.m. reservation with Mike and it went very well. He was waiting for me when I arrived and Mike was very friendly. We toured the facility and he answered all of my questions before I even had to ask them. Mike gave me a complete tour and explained how everything worked. The facility is clean and neat and well maintained. I like the windows so one does not feel so closed in when among the storage units. I thank him and Public Storage.

Ugh. Can't get anyone on the phone. Customer service line can't give me any information. No hours of operation posted ANYWHERE for the rental office. I keep driving to the location and no one is there. On the rare occasion the phones to this location are working, I leave voice messages but no one calls me back. The phones to the location are almost always messed up so when I press numbers to get connected, the phone doesn't pick it up and the automated lady keeps repeating herself. I need my locks so I can move into my unit but every time I drive to this location, the rental office is closed. This is appalling customer service.
This location is the most friendliest facility i've been to. I had just reserved my unit and once i arrived in person, i was having a hard time making a payment online through my phone. The manager and i couldnt figure why the payment wouldnt follow through. However, in just a matter of time, everything was settled and i was so relieved that the manager stuck with me til the end and never made me feel bad...Best service ever 🤗

UPDATE: I moved to a new storage place in April and have never been happier. I hope Public Storage goes out of business and the executives that increase prices while decreasing value end up living in a refrigerator box while rats nibble at his toes.
I have been using this location for storage since 2018 when it was ezStorage. I loved ezStorage.
Since Public Storage took over they have increased rates multiple times. The latest rate increase adds up to a 62% increase in the year and a half since they took over. In addition to that they have done nothing to justify this increase as the facility was already in perfect condition. They have adjusted the heating and cooling to a wider margin, now the "climate controlled" temperature is hotter in the summer and colder in the winter.
My advice is to stay away. With this latest increase I will be shopping around for new options.

The worst storage experience of my life. Do not rent here or any public storage space, you will regret it. Doubled my rent in less than two years. Won't let you pay ahead to avoid increases. Location staff are awful and not helpful. You wait forever to try and speak to someone on the phone. The online reps are extremely curt and unhelpful. Their website and account access is garbage. I will boycott Public Storage until the day I die.

We needed some short-term storage for our son's college gear and researched local storage places. This Public Storage location on Centreville Rd. was a convenient location for us as well as price-competitive. The website allowed for everything to be set up online. The company was very good about communicating frequently with storage specifics.
When we arrived, the app (Android phone) worked well for the gate as well as the door. The facility is pretty amazing, with clean floors, lots of rolling carts to use, and working elevators. Our storage locker was easy to find and met our needs perfectly. The whole family is pretty amazed by this facility. The office staff answered the phone promptly and processed a quick refund for the lock they issued, since we had our own.
If we need to use storage again, we will definitely keep Public Storage in mind and recommend this company to others.

Public storage facilities have never let me down I've moved a lot over the years and from temporary to long term storage you just can't beat Public Storage. This location off of Centerville Rd is actually one of the best I've been to. All the staff were very helpful and they have plenty of parking. Now I've heard there is a new app out to self manage a lot of tasks like gate access and payments. Thumbs up! Public Storage keep up the good work.

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the people at the location itself actually were themselves decent and professional. After I cancelled my locker, I was hit with a charge that I wasn't informed I would get prior to renting the unit for closing, and then they hit me with another charge the following month. Additionally, before storing my stuff I was informed that someone was always on the premises and should something come up where I would need to access my stuff after hours it would be possible. This was actually a primary reason for me doing business with them. That was a lie, and I was polite with the customer service line, but the person on the line I was talking too was very rude, made fun of me, and then hung up the phone.

I went to Public Storage to retrieve some items for my home. When I got there, I was having some trouble with the elevator. An employee going by E was there and gladly helped me. He had an extremely positive attitude and manner to him. He was very helpful when I asked for help. The floor I went on was very well kept and clean. Thank you E for your help and keeping the storage hall as clean as can be.

He even took me to my unit to show me what it looked like to ensure it was the size I needed. He should be commended for his customer service skills. The facility is always pristine, the staff is courteous and I felt comfortable that my belongings were safe and secure. Surprisingly after storing furniture for over 3 years there wasn’t much dust or anything! If you need storage and want a top rate facility this is your place.
