I needed a small storage space and was told prior that I had to make an appt to view a storage unit closest to me. Did I hear that correctly? An appt to view a storage unit...I decided to drive to the next closest Public Storage which was Thousand Oaks/IH35. I was so glad to see that this location had a manager available, that was Erica. I really can't thank Erica enough for actually taking her time and not only showing the possible units that would fit my needs, but giving me a breakdown of all costs, full disclosure without any hidden fees. When I realized she was the only employee working, I thought this young lady deserves more than a raise. Erica went above and beyond all my expectations, and even helped me with understanding the app as well as how the gate works with the app. If corporate doesn't realize what a treasure they have in Erica, and how much of an asset she is to the company, don't worry young lady, if you ever need a job, you can come work for me. I'm serious my door is always open if you need employment, thank you again Erica, you made my cloudy day a lil brighter

They did exactly what I needed them to do and stored my belongings. However, the increase in prices over time is astronomical!!!
Deanna made my move in super easy and stress free. Upon arrival she welcomed me with a smile and standing welcoming me in. The process went really easy as I had made the reservation the day before. She also went over the entire lease with me so I fully understood the terms and conditions. She took me to my unit and made sure I was satisfied. She went above and beyond offering supplies I may need and although I didn't need any I appreciated that. All in all she exceeded my expectations. I recommend this public storage to anyone looking to store. Thanks again !! Update: once again Deanna was amazing and verified everything when I called to get prices on storage since I may be moving again!! She nailed it - if I have to get another unit I will be sure to get it through her ❤️

The location is conveniently off the highway, the grounds are clean, but most importantly the customer service was spectacular. Miss DeAnna was very very polite, extremely helpful, and went out of her way to make the process easy and painfree. I am disabled and she made sure that I was able to view the unit prior without having to spend a bunch of time on my feet. She was very considerate very polite and very friendly. If I could give more than five stars I would. For the record this is a 10 star review. If you're going to rent a storage unit this is the place !!!!!!

Manager is very disrespectful. I'm supposed to have a climate controlled unit, it's not climate controlled at all. The ceiling is falling down in the unit and in the hall way... Absolutely horrible!
Update: since writing this review I have since been notified that they're terminating my rental agreement. I got kicked out for no reason. Don't waist your money here!!!
This is my second 1 star review. After your first paid month they will raise the prices of your unit and it's too late to move all your stuff out. The hottest months of the year. Rent went from 133$ to 233$ with taxes. This is ridiculous!!!!! 😡😤🤬

I’ve rented here for almost five years and she is the most on-top-of-it rental manager I’ve ever worked with.
She makes sure everything is safe AND she makes sure we are aware of any changes or issues month-to-month. And she does it all in person.
She should own this place!

In the past I recommended this place but I rented a storage facility in on February 27th and February 29th I went back and told them I don't need it I never went through the gates put anything in it I was paid up through April cost me $74 and they would not refund me one dime I wouldn't recommend this place at all

Mrs. DeAnna, is fantastic. I am a straight shooter and she shot straight with me. We talked on the phone yesterday when she noticed that my trailer was not in the slot and that I had not been logged in is coming to get it. She was checking to make sure that it had not been stolen. that is an amazing customer service. Not only does she call my phone and leave a voicemail, but she also called my emergency contact person to verify my whereabouts as well and my items whereabouts. Talk about above and beyond. Then when I came in today in order to change my parking location for my trailer. She made it seamless. She is who I like working with, the kind of people that don’t give me a lot of sugarcoat. Give me my options and let me decide. I will continue to be a Public Storage user simply because of her.

This was originally a 1 star review. The manager was so sweet, upfront and apologized for the mix up that happened. I couldn’t keep my review a 1 star I definitely had to change it! The office staff is amazing, just the answering service sucks.
Everything was done online. My unit was ready and came with a lock. Gates can be controlled via the Public Storage app with Bluetooth.
Needed storage at the last minute, I got there 15 min before closing was helped immediately by De Anna she was very helpful explained everything and I got first month for $1 with no term I can go when I want. It's gated clean and well lit, definatly recommend them.
Love the hours and always clean.

I have been in my unit for right at a year now and have never missed a payment. My credit card that I have on file was hacked which caused me to miss my storage payment. I received a personal call from Deanna who manages the Windcrest location to notify me my payment did not go through. She stayed on the phone with me to help me set up an account and make my payment on line as well as put in a request to wave my late fee. She was very friendly, helpful and professional. I give her and the facility a 5star rating 👍

Been a customer for a couple of years+, never been on Autopay, by choice. Went online to pay my bill a day late and found out that my account was current due to AutoPay. Went through customer service rep, we danced around, got transferred to “supervisor and when I told her I’d never authorized AutoPay she told me it had been authorized online. Apparently I’ve been hacked since it wasn’t me who made the online change to my account. PS is a big outfit, this kind of illegal misconduct is not what I expected from a national company. There’s nothing I can do, and they know it, just take the inane lip service and find a new facility!
Renters Beware-Once you’re in with them they have ability to do pretty much what they want!

Brandnew Camper Stolen from this location and the Video Suvelience cameras are not good enough to catch thieves or their vehicle license plates...also the gates take to long to close behind you...

My car was damaged by trailer parked in the stall next to mine. The District Manager, Mark Taggart TOLD me he filed a police report, which would have allowed me to file a claim against the party who caused $1400 in damage to my car. He LIED - he did not. The timeframe to file a police report regarding an accident is 10 days. I was out of town, but I could have arranged someone to do it for me, but I believed him. Deanna KNEW all of this, but didn't say a word. If you think that location is SAFE for ANYTHING, think again. They will NOT have your back.

Horrible. One camera...for the entire large property. The extra one has to pay for insurance...a joke. They expect a receipt available for any and all items. Beware the crews with vans..who ride the property shopping.
