The property manager, Candy, is an absolute hoot! We've been rearranging our storage situation lately which meant consolidating into a larger unit and she's been very helpful and polite. My mother was moving her storage unit from deep ellum to Farmers Branch. We decided to use the Public Storage facility on Mcewen Road in large part due to the efforts of the on-site employee named Candy. She secured 3 separate units at an incredible rate for the move. She made the process for signing up quick and efficient.
I have gone back to the facility daily to evaluate everything that was moved and she always recalls my name and proactively asks if she can assist in anyway.
Andrew was very helpful. The facility is clean with wide aisles and several entrances to help get to your unit easily. Glad we found this place!

Andrew is great. Access is easy. Corporate should consider the fact that security checks take employees out of the office and provide a way to contact them remotely. Like a mobile office phone so calls can be answered when they have to leave the office during office hours. Other than that great experience with this location so far.
Easy move in, you can request a moving cart from the office during business hours. App is very convenient so you don’t have to remember your access code. We were planning on using this as a short term rental but decided to keep it as it’s very convenient and the extra space is nice.
Public storage on McEwen in Farmers Branch is first rate. Candie, Andrew and Sara are very professional in dealing with customers and solving problems. They are a pleasure to work with and I am so happy I had them to help me with my storage needs. I would highly recommend this team. They are the epitome of professionalism!!

Best storage on Farmers Branch!
I was upset that they did increase prices, my unit went from $159 to $209.
Andrew was able to assist me with downgrading units and relocating me to where it would be convenient for us to move some items. Andrew deserves 5 stars and more for the services that he provided us with.
Andrew was very helpful! We had to rent another storage at the last minute and he was so professional and polite made things very easy on a stressful moving day! Indoor Facilities are very clean and secure, I rented two units. I Would definitely recommend.
Andrew was an amazing help he really deserves a raise. My name is Kyle-Jared and he helped me move out everything and even gave me a dolly which was very helpful. He was very understanding and I don’t know what I would’ve did without him. He really is the face of the company and y’all are lucky to have him there.
I've had this climate controlled, interior unit for 3+ years. Every year, the prices have increased by $15-30. I went to clean out my unit today and not only are the rates not market competitive, they no longer offer moving carts. How in the world can a storage rental company not offer moving carts for interior units?! Will never recommend. I moved to another rental place that offers carts and is $30 less per month for 5 square feet more space. Rent somewhere else.

Renting from here was okay when this location was still owned by Simply Self Storage. Since its changed ownership, however, my experience has been terrible. On top of upping my unit rent:
- They routinely cancel my autopay every 1-3 months without notifying me, and don't even send an invoice until 11 days after my rent is due, causing me to incur unexpected late fees.
- I've been locked out of my unit unexpectedly for the past few days, and I've called numerous times, yet no one ever answers or returns my calls.
- They are incredibly insecure. I believe they changed it, but IIRC when I first started renting your password had to be between 8 and 10 chars long. This is ridiculously easy for someone to brute force. What has not changed is their gate codes -- it's literally just your unit number and part of your phone number. If you know these two pieces of information (neither of which are hard to find), anyone can gain access into the building. If they manage to get your key or know how to pick a tubular lock (or they just cut the lock off), then voila, your stuff is gone.
Fortunately, DFW is massive, and there are so many better, cheaper, closer, and more secure alternatives out there (I am switching next month).
Julie was delightful and made the experience so much better! I accidentally reserved my unit at the wrong location, and she helped me get everything switched over. She covered all of the options and set up my auto pay. Great service!

Don't rent here. They changed ownership and got bought out buy a bigger chain who does not care at all. There is never anyone in the office to help you and zero carts to help move your things to your car. They kept increasing the rent so by the end I was paying $100/month for the smallest storage space. Better deals elsewhere!!
I tried to get a lock taken off of my unit 2207 it took a week. I came by twice and nobody around. Then I called multiple times the manager and got no answer. Been a week I am now just getting into my property.
You better bring your own toilet, otherwise you’re gonna poop on yourself. What kind of facility do not provide public restroom.
It was good before publc storage took over. No Cart available when you need. and the door mostly not working when you need access. They remove at least 1 CCTV that i notice around my unit Rent up by about 35%. Called in to the Customer Service and they don't care. You'll have to notice move out 24-48 hr before, and even then you will still have to pay full price for the month you will not rent from them. No prorated fee. contacted another storage company to inquiry prices and will move out as soon as i can from this public storage. The Customer Service from the other company is much much better than this public storage.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HERE!!!! Public storage just took over & they are now saying the rent is going up about 40%. There are never any carts available, & customer service is absolutely horrible. I've never liked public storage, & myself & other renters have said we are leaving this money pit storage racket immediately. DON'T RENT UNITS HERE, YOU WOLL BE RIPPED OFF.
Kristen Knight signed me up today for my storage facility. She was a true professional that answered every question extremely thoroughly and displayed great confidence in her role. I asked her how long she had been working at the facility expecting to hear a few years, to my surprise she said only five weeks. Thank you to Kristen for the great experience, and I am confident in the security of my belongings at this facility run by her.
I left my storage in good condition and ahead of time and they demanded 57 dollars and it was a real theft, I demanded that they explain to me what was wrong and I rejected that amount, everything was in good condition and there was nothing wrong, the lack of ethics and several thefts since The change of staff there made me leave that storage and the fact that the security cameras did not work did not provide any security.

Every since the new owners took over, everything went to trash. The facility is nasty. The carts are never available at the bay. The carts that they bought are suited for home use and not for commercial use. No security on site and the security doors are wide open 24 hours. Customer service does not exist. They of course jacked up my storage rent twice in 6 months. Moving out of this trashy not-worth-it place! Found a place 37% less expensive just 3.1 miles away! Oh and the standard bot that responded to my review is also worthless. Management NEVER Once returned my calls (except once when they said that they would investigate and call me back) - they never called me back.

My storage unit was broken into over half my belongings were stolen, tv, carpet cleaner my safes with my birth certificate, clothes etc. there was an empty gift bag in front of my unit and my lock was replaced with an identical one

Will, The gent that assisted us, was amazing! Incredibly patient and kind. We were undecided on exactly how much space we needed. Will answer all of our questions and even reserved our unit for us while we made up our minds! He was just as helpful once we came back & decided on a different unit. The facility is super clean and the access To load & unload is super easy and convenient. In this Texas heat, it’s nice to be able to unload in the shade of covered parking. Highly recommend this facility!

Great experience we just encountered today. Managed to walk in and rent a 10x10 within 30 minutes! The covered docking area to unload and load will be perfect come rain or the lovely Texas heat!

I recently rented a unit from here and the customer service was amazing. I initially filled everything out online so all I had to do is go pick up my keys. When I walked into the office I spoke with Will and he was Amazing. He showed me my unit and was very nice and explained everything clearly. Thank you So much WIll!!!

I was reluctant when the management changed. I just rented a second unit. As soon as I got in my car, I found out that I didn't need it. I returned to the store. Zack and Jacob were very quick to cancel the rental. I will still maintain my original unit. Thanks for being understanding.

I rented a storage unit online and this location was very quick in responding. Once I arrived in the office two gentlemen helped me with all my finishing touches with the best customer service I have seen. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who asks.

This is my first time coming here and I have to say I was highly impressed by not only how clean the facility and units were but also how professional the staff was. Will showed me around the facility and made some great recommendations based upon my needs. Shoutout to Bryan too lol for giving some great recommendations and tips as well. I highly recommend this place.

Assistant manager, Will Pape was very friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us around the entire property, as well as showing us which entrance would be closest to our unit. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Units are clean and facility is clean, and there are carts you can use to transport your belongings to and from you car to your storage unit. Prices are reasonable, I would be sure to be clear on the terms and durations of any discounts they offer, especially listed online, they bumped up my rate after a promotion ended but I wasn't aware it was a promotional price. And then they have since increased my rate as well. And they are closed on Sundays so you don't have access to your belongings on Sundays so that can be sort of aggravating.
The front desk team was super helpful and accommodating with my needs and questions.
Very clean, very friendly staff, and the prices for the 10x20 unit were far better than other storage providers in the area. Jim was very helpful with the rental and recommended their lock, which was stronger and $10 cheaper. Thanks!

Jim, Ken, Will, and Jacob are sooo kind and helpful! They’re all extremely knowledgeable and personable, and you can tell they want to make sure customers feel both welcome and well-informed of all their options. I’m so happy I found SimplySS, and honestly wish I’d found them sooner!! Also, they have the *most* amenities and space out of any storage facility I’ve ever been to. Definitely recommend!
Went to look at a unit, was met by Ken and Will who were super awesome, the office was clean and the unit was nice and clean too!
It's been a great place so far, from my limited experience. The gentlemen who helped me the one time that I needed it were friendly. Otherwise no issues and it's been good for us to use to hold some excess office furniture and event materials.

A1 Customer Service and Great Prices!!!
I use to really like this facility until recently, my storage unit was broken into, and all of my belongings with taken. Its under review with find out who did this but with all the security in the world, the cameras on site are really much of a help during as they are after the crime. The cylinder lock to the unit was drilled out, I was not notified I had to find out for myself.
