Ms. Deborah was phenomenal! She was professional warm and extremely accommodating. Start to finish our entire transaction, including unloading our car was less than 15 minutes. With me being under the weather, she even came out to the car to personally introduced herself and Welcome to the property. She went out of her way to ensure that our storage locker was extremely convenient and then I felt comfortable and safe coming here alone or accompanied by my husband Ms. Deborah is a gem and the company is lucky to have her!

Couldn't access gate entry with my code or app. Went to the front office only to find it completely dark and closed during normal business hours.

My experience was gone until it was time to move out. The morning I was scheduled to move my things out of my storage unit, the gates were down. I arrived at the storage WITH movers at 8:30 and couldn’t get into the property. The office didn’t open until 9:30 so I had to wait an hour for the office to open to get a temporary video get in the gate! So I paid the movers $155 to just wait for an hour because we could not get in. Then PS had the nerve to charge my card $10 when you owe me $155 for not informing me that the gates where down so I could have scheduled my move out at a later time that day. Mind you I gave notice to PS that I was moving out. I will never use this place again! It is stupid that the office opens so late without any type of customer service you can call in situations like this!

We've tried multiple times since the beginning of 9-24 to downsize our unit. We've had MAJOR issues with getting somebody on the phone much less getting to talk to somebody in the office as it is ALWAYS empty. I finally show up one day with a very nice young lady who tries to help us with showing us a unit. We found out it wasn't ready to be rented that day but she took my number and said somebody from the store would call us back that day or the next. Nobody did. I called the following Monday and got Debra on the phone. She started with attitude and only got worse trying to shift the blame to me. When I let her know I had a problem with her attitude she said "sorry, but I'm overwhelmed". If you're that overwhelmed that you're treating customers this way you shouldn't be the manager. Definitely taking my business somewhere else

Wish I had a good review to leave….I reserved a unit online on Sunday. Received a text stating the unit was ready. Arrive at the storage, couldn't get code to work or app to work for 45 mins to let me in gate. Then once the gate opened, the storage I was assigned was locked, and there was a trailer blocking it. Needless to say, I called the property multiple times, I called customer service, I knocked on the office door…no response received. I seen a Unit 2 doors down from the one I was assigned and I put my stuff in there. There was a temp lock on it, keys and brochure inside. On Monday, I called the property multiple times and left 2 messages to let them know what unit I was actually in. I even drove up there twice, nobody was there. I called customer service, they supposedly sent a message to the property. Here we are Tuesday, and still no answer or a call back. Needless to say, the communication is the absolute worst. Not even a call to see how my move went into the storage, nothing. Now I guess I’m supposed to keep calling and stopping by and hope that 1 day someone will be there or call me back…

Let me start off by saying, great service is hard to find, especially when you’re in a bind and trying to find help and need great customer service to settle your mind and thoughts, and I got just that from Ms. Elizabeth or Ms. Liz at public storage in Duncanville, Tex. When I pulled into the parking lot, Ms. Liz immediately greeted me and asked me what my situation was so that I can make sure I got a big enough unit, and she walked and showed me the unit, and guaranteed it would be big enough and that my movers would have enough room. She was so kind and courteous and even offered so encouraging words to settle my mind on moving.

I rented a 5 x 15 unit here in August of 2020 for $67. I moved out December 30, 2023, paying $177 for the same unit.
On the 30th of December, I made sure the unit was clean (less the huge hole and water damage to the floor). I removed my lock and left the unit door open as instructed.
I was still issued a bill for the month of January and received several late notices throughout the month. Despite calls and reassurance from management that it was noted I moved out before the 1st of the month - I continued to received phone calls and email notifications that I owed money.
Today, February 27, 2024 - I'm holding a notice from a collection agency. I don't owe Public Storage any money and I now have to fight a collection agency over this. When I moved out, I didn't even cause a fuss about the hole in the unit or the water damage to my property. I simply wanted to be done paying such a ridiculous price for such a small unit.
I wouldn't recommend Public Storage to anyone (especially this Duncanville location).
Hours are not correct, I dont know what time they close but I went there today (2/2) at 4p and they were closed.

I was sold a unit to store a truck, truck didn't fit,( obviously, plus unit was in violation of their own rental agreement) I got locked in, keypad locked when I tried to use it. No number posted for emergencies, alarm system is fake, I called Dallas police bc it was going off,( making a loud sound) they had no alert for the property, so that means it's not connected and the noise is for show. I climbed the fence to get out, paid uber 25$ for waiting. 1month no one called me back on this!! The truck is sticking out, no one called me back. I am in another state, I need to know what is going on with my truck. Finally I get ahold of someone they passed me to their District manager which took another 2 weeks to get ahold of. I came and removed the truck, the property manager takes it upon herself to vacate the unit. I had a truck and trailer loaded with belongings ready for storage only to find out, I no longer have the unit and was charged for the unit as well. The pm didn't talk to me, I didn't say anything about not needing the unit. Now it's been 22 days and I still do not have my refund for what they charged. And still no call back. The District manager is a JOKE! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE is RUDE and can not assist in resolving any of these issues. They say someone will call you back amd no one ever dose. No acknowledgement no resolution no compensation no nothing. Take what they want, do what they want. Now I'm speaking to a lawyer because resolving this with them has been my part time job,not to mention being injured after climbing the fence with barb wire when locked in. This has been a nightmare of an experience in an already stressful time. DO BETTER PUBLIC STORAGE! DO BETTER!

I had my reservation made two days prior to moving. I called this location for two days and couldn't get a hold of anyone in the office. Came the day of the move, I drove 20 miles just to find the office closed an hour before. I called them the next morning, and the lady on the phone MADE SURE she was going to be in the office "because she had a ton of things to do". She asked me what time I was coming and confirmed she would be there. Once again I drove to the location just to find it closed. I was even there 10 minutes earlier just to make sure someone would be there. I banged on the door, called them, waited around and there was nobody to help! This has been a huge waste of my time and money. Save yourself the headache this place isn't worth it!

I have been on auto payment for a year and never missed a payment. Went to my storage unit and could not get in. It stated I did not have access. I went to the office and they showed I had access and instructed me to enter in my code this time and to delete the app and reinstall. I did that and it still did not work. Stephanie was working that day and we ran into a lot of problems with my gate code but she was super helpful with trying to fix the situation and even gave me a temporary code making sure it worked while I was there and when she left for the day. Because it took me a long time to gain access I was not able to make it back in time to finish moving my stuff into the storage unit. I had to keep the u hall truck the next day and pay an additional crew to unload it. I have never had these kind of problems with Public storage and I pay on time with no problem. I'm still waiting to hear from someone because I was very unhappy with having to pay additional money when these issues were do to the system. I called customer services they transferred me all over the world. That's why I was so appreciative of Stephanie. She tried her best to insure I did not run into any problems and she even gave me her personal cell incase my temporary gate code did not work. I appreciate people like that, especially on the day I was having.

Worst. Place. Ever!...1 star because zero wasn't an option. I had a reservation for 2/16/23. I tried to go to the location on 2/17/23 but access code didn't work. No one answered the door. Came hime togent

Would have gotten stuck in the facility if someone was already in there for me to piggyback out of. Was able to cancel reservation but Stormi left a VM that said they don't offer prorated refunds on cancelled reservation. Ma'am I never moved in it!

I am disappointed in the staff for not letting me know that this place had so many problems with vandalism. Also, they said the gate was getting repaired and it didn't work the whole time I was there. Then yesterday I found my commercial pickup truck with shattered glass vandalized. I'm leaving this review in great disappointment because the lack of accountability and concern in regards of people who pay to store their assets without having to pay extra for vandalism, tampering and theft. This would be a non-issue as I stated earlier if there was some accountability
My commercial work vehicle was not only vandalized once but twice in the same week in which the second time they attempted to just steal the entire truck. I have been trying to get in contact with the administration to resolve the issue, but they are not cooperative and I am absolutely sure that they are perfectly aware of the vandalism that has taken place on their premises. It was not only my vehicle, but it was multiple vehicle that were vandalized. When the police arrived to do a small investigation he informed me that there has been vandalism on the rise in that particular storage. He was particularly suprised that there were no visible cameras on site. You would think common courtesy from the company would be to inform paying customers of this recent activity,but a thing such as common courtesy does not exist these days. I am providing photo evidence to substantiate my claim.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES, AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STORAGE YOUR VERY IMPORTANT BELONGINGS AND ASSETS.
VANDALISM & THEFT:
I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. Customer service: Non-existent (via phone or e-mail). My vehicle got vandalized a few days ago. It seems like they have a section of this place with no fence. Do not park your vehicle here. I am attaching photos as proof of what happened to me.

Great service on the day I started my rental but has been poor ever since. No one answers the phone. I showed up one morning before they were suppose to open at 9am so I could get the access code to my unit and waited until 9:30am and no one showed up. But no hesitation to leave exactly at 6pm..? I just left. I JUST want the door code to the 24/7 climate controlled units so I can access my stuff. Please help! I’m very frustrated!

I make my payment on yesterday and lock is still placed on unit. Called 3 times left messages and no response. I called customer service and they could not get them either. This is my last month.
This place is trash. No one works. They are ALWAYS and i do mean ALWAYS out of the office. I have went to pay my storage, sometimes i drive up there 2 to 3 times a day to try to catch someone in the office. ALWAYS LOCKED NO ONE IN THE OFFICE. But their cars and trucks are parked outside... Not worth $150 a month. Dont bother a waste of time and money

I reserved a storage unit online. The size chart for unit size was incorrect. Directions to unit weren’t clear. Access code didn’t work. Cylinder lock sold with unit does not work, padlock required. Called customer service multiple times was hung up on & told to contact property the following business day. I purchased another unit the same day & experienced the same issues. Property manager was on property but completely ignored me when I tried to talk to them. If I could give 0 star I definitely would. Public Storage at 732 cedar Ridge Duncanville Tx is a terrible place for storage rental. Public storage customer service line doesn’t help. I was told to leave the storage unlocked overnight with all my belongings inside. I could file a insurance claim if something happened to my things. This has been the worst storage experience of my life!!

Stormy was amazing in getting everything straightened out. She ensured I would be refunded for both locks as the didn’t work for units, as well as ensure I would be refunded for the first unit. She was very polite & professional. She ensured me leaving my belongings unlocked and unattended is not their policy
My husband has been leaving his enclosed trailer at this location for a month now. I noticed yesterday that the gates to go in were not working. It was completely open to anyone. This morning my husband was doing his same routine every morning and noticed someone has robbed his construction tools inside the trailer. Please watch out for your property. The cop that we spoke to mentioned it was not the first time someone has been robbed from there.
The gate had too manny weeks broken and parking spaces are open all day/night. I dit report it manny times but at this date nobody fixed it jet. Unfortunately it dit happens what I was afraid: somebody get in, open my trailer and stole my tools. When I call for help they didn’t take any responsibility because when I make the contract never got any offer or suggestions about insurance and my mistake was not ask about it. Now I lost my tools.. so, if you are thinking rent a parking space don’t do it, even if you have insurance, that gate still broken and they are not taking responsibility for it (basically is the same if you leave your car/trailer in the middle of the street, there is no difference but you are paying 140dlls/mont)
