Location was clean as was unit. Size was just what we needed, perfect for 1-2 bedroom apartment contents. Communication with local staff is nonexistent after reservation. No one in office when we arrived, so I couldn’t swap out locks to not get charged for the PS one. Called to speak to someone and left a message, no reply and going on a month. Called in the last week with a billing question, no reply. If you only want to interact online, then it’s no problem. If you need to speak with a live person, good luck, especially if you are not local to figure out when someone is in the office.

Kathy was a delight to work with. She was friendly and knowledgeable, making the process simple and painless. It was nice to be greeted with a smile instead of everything being electronic. If you are in the need of extra Space she is the one I recommend.
David at PS Mount Pleasant is the best! He set us up, and as helped us out with 1-2 issues since we’ve moved in. High quality guy!
The property manager, Janine is very nice, she is very pleasant and easy going. I only gave 3 stars because there are mice eating up my kids toys and my shoes ): I have set traps but they seem to not get caught. Beware.

Janine was the best! We have been unloading 2.5 units during storms an brutal heat. Janine gave us water to help us through the nightmare. The facility is super clean; especially the bathroom. We almost finished clearing things out, but we will use and recommend Public Storage in Mount Pleasant from here on out.
I was very short term at this place I had a really great experience with Janine, Due to circumstances beyond my control. She was very helpful and went way out of her way to accommodate me after long travels coming back from South America. I would highly recommend the location and highly recommend working with Janine, although she probably has to take a day off 😂 very very nice experience thank you Janine.

I used Go Store it for several years using a 10 X 20 & a 10 X 10 size during this time. I always found the staff very friendly and helpful. I once left an expensive telescopic ladder outside my building and forgot it. When I returned several days later, the Manager had seen it and kept it locked up for me. Very Professional. I always found the Facility and grounds very clean and maintained. I would recommend the Mount Pleasant location if you have a need for storage.
Have been a tenant here for over a year. Visited my unit to rearrange and one of their roofing vendors got silicone overspray all over my new truck…. No signage or rope stating work was being done but my fault for being there longer than 30 minutes. I guess the duration that you are in your unit dictates whether you are using it as a “garage”….. Poor vendor management, poor property management and no accountability… Wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you want your property damaged while visiting…

I recently rented a storage unit with these folks. I wasn’t sure what size I needed and Zee showed me a couple units on different sides of the property. And when the latch on the unit I chose didn’t work with my lock she replaced the latch on the spot. 1st class.

My experience was awesome. Units were in great condition, staff was very understanding and willing to help. They went above and beyond even after I had multiple lock issues(on my own fault.) I rented for over a year and I never had an issue with the facilities or the staff.

The manager was very helpful in determining the size of unit that would best suit my needs. If not for her advice, I probably would have chosen a too small unit which would hampered my access to the office furniture that I was storing.

See was fabulous! Kind and very informative too, she was very approachable and friendly instantly. We toured the facility and units until finding the right one for my belongings that I treasure. I feel even more confident of the safety and here j owing she is on site and watching. I honestly can’t wait to see her again, it was a wonderful experience! PS-I suggested getting puncture free tires for the golf cart as it’s more cost effective bc there will always be debris. The whole process of finding and securing a storage space at Go Store It was pleasant. One of their employees, "Z", as she is called was especially knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a storage space for a certain date and was going out of town, and Z was able to save me a space at the location and of the size I needed. She was also very clear about what I could and could not do with my unit. She provided plenty of background information as well. Their rate is competitive and their facility is clean, well lighted, and there are lights I side the units themselves which is an upgrade from the last storage company I used. I think I will be keeping my stuff with Go Store It for quite some time!

The customer service is great, the price is great, the unit itself is where it loses a star for me. I believe most of my issues are outside of anyone's control but either way, it effects my opinion. The roll top door is SO loud and scratchy when opening and closing and there is always a new layer of wind blown debris on top of my stuff when I open my unit so weather has had a negative impact on the building.
Are you kidding me? There really should be more than 5 stars for Zee! Impeccable customer service. I seriously walked away feeling like I had a new best friend. You only find people like this on the top shelf! Thanks for making this new local feel like an old local!!
Z was extremely thorough. Unit was clean to begin with, but she recleaned it again. Everything was explained to me so that it was clear and I understood. Completely different experience from the other rental places I have used. This is above and beyond the BEST. Tons of cameras everywhere. I feel very safe.

First off, whoever hired Z needs to think their lucky stars that she is the face of the facility. Customers could not expect a better experience at a storage facility. She really goes above and beyond to make the customer feel confident about having a safe place for their belongings.

I have had 4 other Storage Units in Mt Pleasant over the last 6 years. Go Store it on Johnnie Dodds Midtown has been the best experience so far.
They have tons of clean units climate controlled or not. Drive up easy access for loading or unloading on the ground level, this saves me time and energy.
Property has great drainage so that flooding does not impact units on ground level and my belongings always stay dry. They have very fair prices and are centrally located right in middle of Mt Pleasant.
Best thing by far is how friendly and helpful the staff has always been. Anytime I have seen staff
especially Zee! She remembers me and seems to remember all the customers names. She always has a smile on her face and is helpful and knowledgeable. Plus Zee always takes the time to say hi and asks if there is anything I need.
This is my personal experience as a paying customer. I was not paid for this review. Check them out before you rent anywhere else. I highly recommend Go Store it Self Storage Midtown for all your storage needs.

This was my 1st time getting any type of storage unit for myself so I had a few questions, Zee was absolutely the best! She took the time to explain the differences between the units as well as show me around to all of the different sizes so that we could choose the one that best suited my needs. This storage facility is very well run by the manager, Zee. Zee maintains it quite professionally with enthusiasm, and she is readily available onsite. We rented a space for one year, and our possessions were well protected with no issues or problems. Record keeping regarding monthly billing was efficient and accurate. I would use this facility again in the future and would definitely recommend it.

First, I must say, that I chose this storage unit for location and the price was awesome. But what I did not know was how helpful they would be. Zee was happy to help me with which size unit I needed, and she nailed it! She was even thoughtful enough to set me up with a unit that was nearby another vacant one in case it wouldn’t fit all of my belongings. She was beyond patient with me as I was in the middle of a move and incredibly stressed out. She was even more helpful when I received a bad email upon checking out- and she sat with me and was a friend when she could see I was visibly upset about the email. She helped me to gather my thoughts and was so patient with me, I could’ve cried. I know she cared, even though I was a complete stranger. That’s hard to find in an employee. She made me feel welcome and that my things will be cared for while in storage. Go-Store it is lucky to have her as an employee. Zee, I work on IOP if you ever dislike your job, I’d love to hire you!!! Thanks for being so awesome and patient!!!

Zee is incredibly helpful. She showed me the unit, went over paperwork, gave me tips for how to arrange things & keep my belongings safe with moisture & how to wrap it. Ultimately, I ended up getting an indoor storage unit but even then... Zee was very understanding & helpful!!! Good customer service is often hard to come by.. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
