I have been with this storage unit since July and have paid cash EVERY TIME except for when I set it up (NOTE: they DON'T take cash at this facility, so you have to go down the street to the next storage) I paid on the 5th get a notice on the 8th I got a late fee?! HOW IS THAT?! So I called them and asked what's the problem they told me they couldn't find my payment. I told them the day and around the time and these ppl ask me what car i was in. Who did i speak to, etc.. I'm knocking down the questions and they tell me they'll call me back. 20 minutes later, they found the payment, so I asked what happened. What's the problem? NOOO EXPLANATION COULD BE TOLD but yall asked me 101 questions!! I get an email on the 13th saying a $20 discount has been applied to my account. I'm like, ok, they tried to compensate for the inconvenience... NOOOO, I go pay my account today and I'm told that was the late fee taken off... BUT THERE WASN'T SUPPOSE TO BE A LATE FEE IN THE 1ST PLACE!! WTH!!!

If you want a place that you can get in touch with someone when there is a problem. This is not the place you want to be. There is a reason why their prices are so cheap; they don't employ no one on site or no one to answer phone calls anyway. When you try to leave a voice mail it comes by to you so in Actionality your leaving a voice mail to yourself....... So please don't be fooled into thinking they care anything about you or your belongings

I came to this location to get storage but the size I wanted was not available. Niki was able to rent me a unit at the location around the corner for the size I needed and gave instructions on how to enter the gate and get to my storage unit, which helped me out a lot since I was running late for an appointment. She provided excellent and efficient customer service!

So I do not use this particular location I use the grand view drive one and honestly the experience with that location has been absolutely a nightmare. I had attempted to move my washer dryer combo 3 times with the 3rd time being tonight to each time coming in with a gate that would not open.
I had called the customer support and the property manager of this location 3 times with no results. I turned to Facebook to ask if anyone knew the problem and could help
And then I get an answer within minutes by the property manager- of THIS location!!! Rachel was so kind helpful and attentive. She saw how upset I was and did what she could to help me- even though she had literally no obligation whatsoever to do so. My experience with that location after tonight was absolutely leading me to changing storage units but honestly Rachel may have created a customer for life with how committed she was to help.

Five times we have been here and couldn’t get into the building. The key pad says to “see manager” but they don’t have any staff on site unless you make an appointment over the phone. My bill is on auto pay and each time i call the customer service line they tell me there is no reason it shouldn’t work. Absolutely ridiculous to pay $93 a month and can’t even get into my unit

Extortion is the correct word. We had a contracted rate but after only 4 months it increased by 40%. It was NOT a promotional offer. Yes, the contract specified it was subject to "periodic increases". One may assume that's due to increased costs in electricity, labor, inflation or other market increases. It's not to cover additional costs. A 40% increase after 4 months is nothing short of a flimflam or a bait & switch. Best advice when packing your unit is be ready to move out.
Whoever call me about my reservation was lacking customer service skills, had an attitude, and just acted like I was wasting her time therefore, I cancel my reservation because if you act like, I don’t deserve a couple minutes of your time you will not get my money.

I'm torn... I have 4 units, and been here before Public Storage bought them out. Niki & the staff are nice, and the property is kept clean. The actual company, Public Storage is what's bad. One unit went up 25% in only 6 months. I've spoken with corporate, and their "definition" of "Climate Control" is 80 degrees. So if you plan on moving anything during the summer, you better be prepared. bring water and take breaks. They don't care about your contents, they care about the bottom line.

Life Storage was better, hate they sold out whatever. Since PS took over it feels like you're walking through a sauna! IDK how you can advertise as climate controlled when it feels like it's 80 degrees in there. I can't imagine unloading all my stuff in that type of temperature.

Once I came in Nikki greeted me with a smile help me get my payment completed and insurance changed over on my property. Rude, lazy, off site, storage location- layout ignorant customer service. Their concern is talking over you, following a script and trying to book a unit. HORRIBLE They reserved a unit without my asking and telling them not to reserve. Tiffany, then a “guy” and just now a vm was left by Nikki confirming my reservation.

I don't know if they changed management recently, but now there are 5 different options to call and I have yet to be able to talk to someone. I tried to cancel my unit but they are closed before I get off work so I can't come in person. So hard to get a hold of someone and can't confirm the status of my unit.
Kari made my experience so easy and painless when I asked for more than what is usual. She explained what I needed to do and sent me instructions to make this an easy painless part of my transition.... then life storage sold the company with no notice. Public storage first communication with me was through email the last week of July telling me my new storage cost and that my new payment is due in less than 5 days. Definitely not a good experience anymore not to take away from Kari bc she is a great person but 2 years later I definitely can't leave my 5 star rating.
