Hi I'm Marshall from Marshall Lawn's wants I've been doing business here in Portland for 43 years and I'm just now started doing business with public storage here in Milwaukee Oregon. I've been here 3 months it has gone very well everybody here is always so helpful to help me and I've never had storage before they're always willing to help me with the gate any questions I have and I've enjoyed it from day one. I had a little problem with my bill and I dealt with Jennifer and she was amazing she had a good attitude and we came to terms and she was very concerned about my problem and I believe she addressed it very well and we're going to walk out of here. I felt so good about it I wanted to leave a nice message and Britney was here when I first day one and she was amazing just as well so thank you very much. Awesome Staff!! I needed help urgently. I called a few times in one day with so many questions. Brittany answered the phone each time and talked me through all of my questions with patience, thoughtfulness and understanding. Michelle has also helped my other half at a time that felt extremely important. Michelle helped resolve a problem he was having with a lock. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of with patience and understanding.
I was, and remain truly grateful for Brittany and Michelle's kindness coupled with professionalism with regard to every call I made that day to Brittany. Michelle took time and effort to make sure our lock worked out.

Easy, fast and at a great price. Got here on a Sunday and Michelle was quick to welcome me followed by assisting me with getting set up. She made sure to ask me questions I didn’t think of. Such as seeing the unit before renting and asking if I needed a lock. She also let me know her hours and whereabouts if I need her during my time on the property. She is thorough and sweet. Made my Sunday!
Michelle was my clerk and she was so so kind to me! It was just past closing time and she helped with with such patience! I felt bad for taking up her time, but so grateful she was able to help me get all my documents in order and help with accessing my storage unit! FYI the 5'x5' is a little smaller than 5'x5' inside like a 4"x4" board is actually 3.5"x3.5". Still a great storage area.

this site has a manager who is incapable of managing this location.

This place is garbage. I've been to this place four times in five days since I paid for a rental and they don't have anyone staffed in the office to give me the gate code and my unit key. Unhelpful robot on the phone and on the stupid chat feature on the website. I just want to talk to a human and get my money back. Don't store here.

DO NOT store your belongings here. My locker was broken into TWICE in two months. The second time they cleared out everything. Someone has codes to get in and there are no cameras on the indoor lockers. Needless to say I terminated my business here as I now have NOTHING LEFT TO STORE!
EDIT: THIS JUST GOT WORSE! I found that virtually everything was stolen on the first of the month. Took remaining items out today (the 2nd). They are going to charge me for the entire month because I didn't "vacate" by the first. I informed them that someone vacated for me. They simply didn't care. They have a terrible security issue and don't care about your belongings. You might as well leave your stuff on the side of 224 before renting here! EDIT: As you can see below, a robot just apologized. Neat. That's actually more than I got from the actual human at this location.
Michelle at the International Way location was so helpful and friendly when I was having trouble accessing my storage unit. She not only helped to solve my problem, she went with me to my unit to and to the main gate to make sure I was able to get where I needed to go. Much appreciated Michelle!
This is the reason why I am leaving a 3 start rating here for this location:
A representative here called me asking when/ if I was going to be vacating my storage unit, because I had to take my credit card off of auto-pay due my account being compromised and having yet to receive my new credit card in the mail. It would not have been so off putting had she not made it seem as though I would need to leave had I not turned on my auto-pay. This method of payment is not necessary for my use of the unit, nor was it a requirement in my contract when I initially signed up. I would appreciate it if I were not asked when I am going to vacate my unit whenever I am needing to update my payment method. This type of behavior does not make people feel like valued customers.

For disabled people it is hard to get in to get their stuff half the time the code don't work or the door won't open going to leave Public Storage
I have experienced a lot of frustration and dysfunction at this location . They don’t follow up or return messages, the app isn’t working, it was a bit of bait and switch to move in since they require a lock fee even though website said you can waive it with own lock, no accountability, they aren’t staffed during office hours, won’t take my credit card for payment or solve issue/return call as they said, nothing resolved after several drives to office and phone calls/messages. I’ll find another storage, I don’t have this much time to deal with dysfunction and their late fee this month is their own fault, I’ve been offering payment… I can’t recommend them at all. Also I witnessed them deal with a theft/break in in a total nonchalant manner and was told it’s common. The other tenant was visibly frustrated by the dysfunction as well.

Until further notice this is NOT a safe location to store anything at. Milwaukie PD states they've received at least 16 reports of theft in the last 4 months. There are zero cameras on many of the external entrances.
My unit was broken into twice, the first time they stole a few valuable items, the second time they replaced the locks, removed all my stuff, and filled it with items from other units. I was contacted by another victim after he found a box with my name and address on it and he was able to track me down.
If you have items in this location absolutely relocate them ASAP.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They locked my unit with no warning after never missing a payment or even paying late , it took over a week to get ahold of someone because their office has no office hours. Turned out the decided My lock was “damaged” (it was not) and without telling me CUT THE LOCK I PAID FOR AND INSTALLED THEIR OWN LEAVING ME NO ACCESS TO MY ITEMS!!! After paying over 100$ a month on time every month for them to take such liberty over my belongings is unacceptable.
This public storage is clean and staff is courteous.
Update: WE WERE ROBBED. SO WERE A LOT OF OTHER UNITS. We were here less than a month (indoor unit with controlled access door) and someone took the sliding gate off its hinges without touching the lock and emptied our unit of everything even slightly valuable. And a whole bunch of irreplaceable sentimental stuff with absolutely no resale value whatsoever. They trashed everything they left in there. It took us 5 full car loads to move in, and 1.5 to move out. The damage done to our unit was visible on many other units, the owners probably just haven't discovered it yet. The manager informed us (after the fact) that this was a common occurrence, kinda wish I known that before I trusted them with my most meaningful possessions.

When I signed up I was promised no surprise jumps in my monthly rate, and a couple of months later that's exactly what happened to the tune of double. Dishonest business practices means I'm taking my business somewhere else.
FYI what you are quoted online is not what you will be paying. You have to pay them for a lock on your unit and cannot bring your own, plus a few other assorted fees. Tack on another $40-50 bucks to your startup fee and expect your monthly rent to double within 3-4 months.
Edit: Management is well aware of your ripoff rate jumps and hidden fees, they're the people running this scam. Your fake attempt at saving face just made me more committed to turning people away from you. Everyone note how they gave this response but did NOTHING to contact me or make it right.
