Horrible company I got a message saying my storage is due immediately when its not even due for like 10 days. I was late paying and they were threatening to sell my stuff before I was even 30 days late. Also if you really read the contract they literally not liable for anything. My storage is in the ghetto with no security and since I've been a customer there 7 units have been robbed and they tell you no more then $5000 worth of valuables should be stored there and it says not to store personal antiques or anything of real value what are we paying for if our stuffs not safe and your not liable for anything.

After public bought them it's horrible. Rent went up $100 a month, no warning, no explanation. Can't get ahold of Support either, they provide a number with options but only a number and it doesnt do anything but waste your time. It was a mistake for northwest to sell to public. I liked it before they were bought out, now its not worth it

My original review for old mgmt is at the end of this l review, but I feel like it’s my duty to warn what you’re getting into if you choose to do business with Public Storage… buckle up. The previous management at this location, NSA brands, allowed prorating and did not do business in a way that was predatory or unfair to customers. That means if I was ready to move out midway through, they would credit me back for the days that I did not use. I remembered this when selecting a new storage unit and chose another northwest self storage property, now owned by Public Storage at all locations. While it has been a delight dealing with the on-site manager, Megan, I cannot be more disgusted with the absolute overnight 180° turnaround from great service to shameful, rude, unprofessional, and predatory practices used by Public Storage. I was nearly moved out out of my unit and was asking for a pro rate near the beginning of August and then I was informed that they no longer do that and I would have to pay for the entire month upfront. I also explained to them that I would not be signing a lease because I was moving out of my unit and I didn’t want to do business with Public Storage and they assured me they would fix my gate code. They continued locking me out via deactivating my gate code, but I managed to get in and get moved out of my unit anyways. I finished moving the last couple of items out at the end of August because I knew that since I paid for the entire month, I might as well take my time. There was never anyone in the on-site office at the property next-door or at the now shuttered office at this location the multitude of times I was there removing my final belongings. Additionally, it’s impossible to get somebody on the phone to discuss your account, the automated system will just tell you that they have found your account and direct you online to register for an account to perform all tasks related to managing your unit. This was the trap I was not going to fall into, because the second you register your online account, it forces you to go into a document that is your lease and sign it, which I was unwilling to do, and I already explained this to them. I had an agreement with Northwest self storage, and I already notified them that I was moving out of my unit, but getting somebody to actually do the move out inspection or submit any communication about this is impossible since they can’t be bothered to actually staff the offices at their locations or make it possible to talk to somebody on the phone. I moved out of my unit and I left a note at the office door, but I continue receiving late notice notices about how my rent is due. Oh, and to make it even better? They immediately raised my rent by $55 the first month and then $15 the second month, going from 170 up to 225 (now they are trying to charge me 240 (for a unit I’ve moved out of and I let them know I was moving out of in person) after just 2 months of taking over. This is what you have to look forward to if you rent from them! OLD Review: Megan is so kind, responsive, and attentive to any concerns or needs that arise. I’ve been a storage unit renter for about eight years now at several facilities and my experience at this location with Megan absolutely blows every other experience out of the water. She explained the security system that they use and reassured any concerns I had walking into the place about whether my belongings would be protected. She explained the rent increase process, and while she did indicate that it is completely out of her hands, she reached that the increase were not going to be unexpected and after I talked to the corporate office, they reassured me there would be room for negotiation if an increase made your unit unaffordable. I would highly recommend that anyone who is seeking storage rent from this property, especially those seeking to get away from public storage — they are A breath of fresh air in comparison to the experiences I’ve had with that company.

Megan was a delight to work with! She made my stressful situation much easier. She is pleasant, personable, efficient, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I am very glad I ended up there! I would highly recommend Public Storage on Division in Gresham.

This place is a joke. My rental agreement, credit charge, and all emails said “Public Storage”, however I had actually paid for a parking spot next door at “NorthWest Storage”. After my code didn’t work because I was at the wrong location with the right sign, I tried to call the number on the door. All this accomplished was a loop of prerecorded messages without ever being able to talk to a real person. Finally a staff member happened to come back to the office, and told me I was actually supposed to be next door, at the place with a completely different name. Upon trying to get in there I also found my code to be useless. Fortunately there was nobody on site at this place either. I returned to “Public Storage” and told them my code doesn’t work, which was acknowledged to be a common issue. After 10 minutes of phone calls the staff member got me a temporary code, and couldn’t offer any directions on where in the lot my spot would be. When I found my spot, there wasn’t a camera within 50 yards of it. The place was dingy and run down. I expected my truck to be sitting on blocks when I came back to pick it up. Would give negative stars if possible.

Setting up was easy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend.

No one can afford the price increases! When I was finally able to leave, the price of my unit had gone up by $300! That's 120%. And for what? Barely any cameras, they don't improve the units that CURRENT customers have, but they'll put new doors on empty units, and some of my stuff was covered in tiny mouse poops. I'm never renting from here again! Outrageous.

This place is the WORST. They CONSTANTLY raise the rent, every 6 months they add 50-60 dollars. My unit started at $250 dollars. By the time I left, it was $560! For the same unit I had when I moved in! What would have happened to my stuff if I couldn't afford the ridiculous price? Who knows? I'm just lucky I got out. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

The manager is helpful every year when our Girl Scout troop needs a storage unit for a few months. She is always friendly and always willing to help us find a unit that meets our needs!
