Do not rent a unit here! Our unit was broken into and everything stolen. The manager knew and was shown why we thought someone had gotten in and handed us a new lock told us to get a police report if we got the lock off and found out for sure that we had been broken into, then she left…. We had to go get bolt cutters because our lock was messed up to the point our keys would not go into the lock, plus there were holes made with a sharp object underneath the lock. The manager knew this when she left! We now have a police report and have called about 50 times with no response. We have tried to contact them through the website…. No response. We have insurance on the unit and would like to see the camera footage but no response. But they will start emailing and calling about a week before payment is even due to get their money. God forbid you have an issue because they seem to disappear! So I repeat do not rent from this storage! Well it’s been 4 months and we still haven’t had this resolved. I’ve sent the info the insurance company (orange door insurance) everything they have ask for 5 different times! Each time they say they haven’t received some part of it. The insurance company has never even spoken to the storage facility we used. They haven’t spoken to the detective that has our case and now they want proof of what was in the storage unit …. Everything we owned including any paper work was in the unit! Besides that, some of the items were more than a few years old and we wouldn’t have a receipt anyway. Each time we talk to them they come up with a new reason not to proceed with the case. So basically we are not going to be compensated for having our entire lives stolen! Oh before I finish, the storage will tell you they have cameras that cover the entire property…. But there wasn’t one that covered ours. They also tell you someone is there 24/7 and walks the property every day. If they did they would have seen all the papers and hangers coming out from under our units door. She also would have stayed there long enough to see if we had been broken into instead of telling us to get bolt cutters and then let her know if we had our stuff still in the unit or not. I’ve contacted an attorney (last resort) but they shouldn’t be able to get away with this! Please don’t rent from here you will regret it!m We are now 3 years and still haven’t received a dime!

If youre are thinking of getting a storage here, DON'T! We have rented storage facilities across numerous states over the past 20 years and this has been the absolute WORST one to have a unit with. Their "local" number to call to get a hold of anyone on site, reroutes you to California where you will sit on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes all to get someone who barely speaks English. They will not answer your questions or concerns, just tell you to look at your rental agreement. I could go on and on, but go somewhere else and save yourself the headache. Also, cannot easily get a trailer of any size through there and only one car can fit down a row at a time, so it is very difficult to move through and exit.

Public Storage is the absolute WORST. Do NOT rent with them and if they buy the storage space you’re currently renting GET out asap!! The employees are unhelpful and can only recite “company policy” and give out the most useless customer service number.

I started off online trying to setup a unit here, but the website was very frustrating and blocked me several times with making the payment, but I went in to get help from the folks behind the counter, Joe and Barbara, and they were very personable and professional. They were able to get everything figured out and were able to get my unit/ account ironed out and keys in my hand in less than 30 minutes! Highly recommend seeing up your reservation online to get s better price, but going in store to pay as you can skip the hassle of the website failures. Thank you Joe and Barbara!

The actual facility itself is great the management is great as well! My complaint lies with the pricing . Public Storage raised my rates for no reason. Is it going to keep going up? If so I'll probably have to look elsewhere unfortunately.

You want a great storage facility that is clean, organized, well maintained, and very secure? Then Public Storage on Rt 66 in Yukon is your place! Anthony and the rest of the team are truly great people. They treated me with respect and showed me exactly where my new storage unit is located. You normally get the standard "you'll be in unit 101. It's down that way, past the 3rd building, 5th maybe 6th unit from the corner...I think". Not here! Anthony met me at the counter, took care of all my needs, and waved goodbye as I left. I am super impressed with my visit today.

Logan was very understanding when the serpentine belt broke on my truck and I needed a little tle extra time to clear out unit. They are a good example why I love bidding on Public Storage auction units...making it so easy to run my business!

At this location on Route 66 highway in Yukon Oklahoma you pay more for a parking spot that is 10 by 35 more than a 14 by 25 you pay twice as much for a parking spot then you do an actual storage building

⚠️Far better alternatives to this facility.🛑 I debated for several months how to approach management & the public concerning the demise occurring with the transition over the course of several months, eventually resulting in our hasty departure. Reportedly, storage business will capitalize occasionally on this compromising situation of significant unconvince, resulting, one way or another, in customers perceiving hostility and exploitation among other aspects relating to a flexible rental agreement. From the time leading up to All Storage transitioning to the current Public Storage, various aspects begin to suffer, yet the rent remained the same without any compensation and only lame excuses from the mouths of very unprofessional on sight employees with the worst of poor attitudes and work ethics. The thing that stands out the most, relates to new ownership lessening the facility in several ways, yet significantly expecting an increase in rent. The new staff obviously lack skill, knowledge and ability. ●Random abrupt, without forewarning, 💸drastic increase in the rental fee/rate❗️One unit abruptly increased $42 with the other exact same, yet different, Unit a few months afterward raised $58 in rent, which REQUIRED an pro-active approach on the renter's part to explore a transition period that would delay an increase aimed to altering rental fees to as much as $224 per mo.🤢 In the one instance and not the other, despite both units being connected on the same account, one was afforded a six month delay while the other wasn't and required a monthly approach to address the increasing of fees. The delay was appreciated, if not the manner which the increase was implemented.😖 ●The security cameras were inoperable for a long time and often quedtional and apparentlyunreiable. Several renters have shared that they have been denied access to surveillance video. ●The main security gate was often broken or left wide open. ●The trash dumpster was often full and overflowing, remaining unaddressed for weeks or longer. ●The dumpsters were locked shut, denying ready access to customers, for even small trash disposal. Quite a lot of customers begin leaving, so perhaps that was a culprit, but still nonetheless, a disgusting problem that doesn't constitute neglect or ignoring. We were approached by an employee and told that the trash receptacle was not for customer/renter use/access, even for insignificant amounts of debris/teash. ●Mud, dirt, debris, such as that which can cause tire punctures, etc, along the drive paths are ignored. ●Staff acting inconsiderate, parking their golf cart in the way of typical access to the gate security station. ●Absolutely, no seating at all for guest in the on-site office. Another degree of being inconsiderate, particularly to children and the elderly or disabled. ●Most of the on-site convenience supplies were eliminated. ●Various levels of neglect, from lack of cleaning to various maintenance/upkeep, such as several dead trees, lighting, cameras, security gates, etc. Painting the gate black, is certainly not a considerate color change, particularly during the hours of night! This only acts to further promote lower visibility and accidents. ●Hours of accessibility were inconveniently lessened, with occasions when access was impossible during the time designated for accessibility! Business interruption🙄 The impression is that of minimal effort and investment, denying necessities while significantly increasing rent/fees. With a great migrational influx of customers from various experiences, I suspect this national chain will thrive fine without those of us who expect much better. Fortunately and gratefully, we know and understand that much better alternatives exist close by. Hopefully, those of us who share these experiences, will benefit not only the management of the business, but also members of our communities, toward improving our towns with a healthy intolerance and unacceptance. Hopefully improvements will manifest, but until then, many of us are content to leave and improve our experiences.

This place makes up rules as they go. Changing rent cost, space rules, etc. Bunch of crooks. Parking spaces that went for 33.00, to now 125.00. Lol, what a joke public storage is. I would stay far from this place as possible. They don't wanna talk to you, they want to push you off to their app or website. f@@k off public storage

The prior owners All-Storage sold to Public storage and within a couple of months the prices went up for no real changes that I was made aware of.

I reserved a 5x10 climate control storage for August 1, 2022. This had been reserved for almost a month. I arrived at location in Yukon, ok during business hours and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive. I was not the only one waiting. She said she had gone to the bank. No sign on door. I told her I had a reservation for above and she said I do not know why they do this, I have none available. She finally put me in a 4x5 non climate control and it did not have room for everything I had. She said she should have one available on August 15 but I know not to count on that. This is also making us move twice. I am a very dissatisfied customer.

This is a very clean and secure place to store our RV. Barbara helped us pick the best spot for our 35 foot 5th wheel. She was very friendly and easy to work with!

Yukon location. If you need help in finding the right size storage, Barbara is the one to help. She showed me several sizes, was patient and made the process much easier than expected. Thank you Barbara!!

I was in a crunch, moving that had to be done that evening. I got to the storage and the gate was malfunctioning and it was fixing to pour.The two office women were out there trying to get it open, this was after hours. Long story short, couldn’t get in to the area my storage was in. Jen was awesome! She got me in to a storage on the other side temporarily. Definitely on my Christmas list!

Overall a pleasant experience, Jen was really helpful and informative.

One thing after another with this place: The elevator didn’t work on move-in day and no other 5x10 climate controlled units were available, so I was moved to a dirty 10x10 climate controlled unit with the promise that my price would be honored for the smaller unit price. Never happened! I paid for Jan 20th-Feb 20th up front, but was then told to pay again on Feb 1st for the higher unit price. What was even worse is that Public Storage does not empower their employees to fix pricing issues locally there in store- this is horrible customer service. They wouldn’t ever answer their phones either, so I spent 3 of my lunch breaks going up there to try and get this resolved in-person. After staying for 2 weeks, I ran as fast as I could down the street to a brand new storage facility that even offered a free moving truck. I would recommend you do the same.

The ladies that signed us up for the storage building were very nice snd helpful. I took one star away because the overhead door on the unit was very difficult to open. Needs a spring adjustment or lubed.

I have never had any issues with this property in the 5 years I have rented here. I had a climate controlled unit, a regular unit and an outdoor space. They have always been friendly and helpful. Rachel is very friendly and helpful. Thanks again Rachel!

This is the first month but so far it's been perfect everything I could hope for plus the special where you only are charged a dollar the first month so it cost me less than $60 for the lock and the insurance and move in rates
