Great storage unit
Sandra is awesome. We store with her at the other property She works at but answered our voicemail we left at that property from another property. She’s working at and let us know where she was so we could come to that location.
Ed is great! He does an excellent job of maintaining the lot and is always available to answer any of my questions.

I had a loaded rental truck, with only 2 hours to return it to the rental office. This was my first time at Public Storage on Sheilds in OKC . I'm glad to say , it went PERFECTLY. When I walked into the lobby I immediately recognized that this was the cleanest storage business I'd ever been in. That is a big statement, being that I worked as a professional mover for approximately 7 yrs. Over those 7 years I can't remember a storage facility that even came close to the cleanliness of this Public Storage. Then the representative (David is his name) , had me signed up, account established and rolling into the facility in just a few short minutes. If it took any longer than a few minutes, it would be because I had a handful of questions for David about the property. I was even able to choose a specific unit ( depending on availability). David was patient and answered all of my questions easily. He knows the property and the policies. The rental truck was returned well within the deadline, largely because the process of getting my unit was abbreviated due to David's obvious experience. Pricing for the first month was a treat (due to a promotion) , and next months bill will fall in the category of "average" , as far 5x10 storage is concerned.
Ed is great to work with. I have rented at this storage facility many times over the last several years. This facility is my go to for my storage needs. Great people and customer service.
I have been at this Public Storage for years. A guy that works there, name is Ed. He is very helpful. Goes out of his way to explain charges & always asks if I have anymore questions. I give him 5 stars. Very knowledgeable & considerate. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This is the worst unsecured storage facility I have ever used. My unit has broken into multiple times and I lost over $25000 dollars worth of my belongings. The manager took me they had video of whoever came thru the gate and then told the police there was no video. The general managers name is Kent and he offered to help by offering to zero my storage balance if I moved the rest of my belongings out so they could resent that unit. After rushing on a Sunday to move everything out, he denied that he made that offer.
Kent is nothing but a lying, rude idiot with no customer service skills at all. Public Storage accepted my money for the insurance and then refused coverage.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!

Ever since this company bought out all the storage companies around them.... Your prices have gone up out the RooF.... You don't upgrade someone's storage unit by 30 or 40 more dollars a months month... You are seriously gouging the customers... You need to be reported to the better Business bureau.....
Have been here for about a never have. I had any of my stuff messed within any way shape or form. The manager has always been wonderful and understanding to any problems. I may have and resolving them promptly. Very friendly every time I come here.

Iv been here a year and have nothing but positive things to say. Very polite and helpful people. Wouldnt rent storage anywhere else. Everytime iv needed anything the manager has always came through and did as he said he would. Couldn't ask for better storage facility. These people will milk you for every penny. The starting price may be $80, but it won't stay that way. The longer you use them, the more they charge you, the upcharges will start at 10 extra, then continue jumping, don't expect that to be consistent either. They will start charging more and upcharging more often. The facilities themselves are nice, but not worth all the extra fees that NO ONE will tell you about.
Ed is wonderful as far as customer service goes. I have been a customer 4 yr prior to simply taking ownership. My rent started out at 69.00 monthly for a 10x10 and in July it was going to 125.00 with insurance. So i decided to move from the Moore location over to sheilds because I could open a new one for 69.00 monthly and since I was only going to need it for a short time it aloud me to go through everything and donate what i didn't want and since there is a major rodent problem I try to salvage what I could and instead of using boxes I purchaced bins and duct tape them so hopefully the rats wouldn't destroy what was left. I feel no matter what you will have rodent problems reguardless of the poison that is set out. Luckily the insurance will cover some of your loss.. I am only closing because I finally moved into my new place and no longer need a storage. I am happy with the service received by Ed Miller.
Tyesa- an employee in the office apparently has some difficulties with her math and her mouth. Very confrontational, and has the most unpleasant-don't give 2 craps about customers, attitude. Employees like that make it a very easy decision to relocate to a better storage facility. Customer service only matters here until your a customer. Save your self being mistreated and talk to like your garbage by an idiot, go someplace else.

We used this storage in the past and was afraid things would be different but it was just like home! Tiara made it so easy and fast we were out the door in 10 minutes! What a sweet girl!

I used this facility for ten years. Since Simply Self Storage purchased the property my rent has doubled. My unit was broken into and robbed. They contacted 2 days afterwards. They had no explanation or videos. If you look online my unit is currently for rent at a rate of
$109.00 LESS than what they raised my rent to without any notice. They claimed they sent notice by mail to an address I have not lived at in 5 years. They claimed I did not notify them of address change but have supplied them with a copy of my current home insurance policy and information because they were going to automatically increase my monthly rate for insurance. They just recently installed new gate keypads on the building but the door doesn't latch. You pull on the handle and the door opens. This is in climate control. Anybody can come and go. When i contacted the individual in the office she was very condescending. I asked for the supervisors number. She claimed she couldnt give it out. She would have her call me. I never heard back. I have now moved my belongings to another storage facility. It is very clean. Much cheaper. Operated by individuals who believe in customer service. If I sound like a disgruntled customer, I am! After 10 years in this location I expected better treatment. I would strongly suggest going somewhere else.

If you want your trailer broken into, stuff stolen, i.e. underneath trailer compartment, propane tanks, etc then this is the place for you. When speaking with Mgr was told that they have had others as well. Didn't really seem to care. :(

Went to look at trailer that was supposedly for sale. Got locked in because person selling trailer never showed up or answered phone or text when I tried her. Think I got spammed. Fortunately someone inside let us out.

Had a great experience over the phone with Ed Miller, the store manager and he was very helpful at finding me the best rate and understanding what I needed. He was actively training Denzel and was a great teacher. Denzel was willing to learn and tried to soak up all the information. Would highly recommend. Also tested their lock system for their units and was very impressed. Highly recommend

This place is horrible I've been with this story for 3years and I had my trailer stolen from there and the manager said I was (S O L) because his insurance doesn't cover outside parking and he said he noticed my trailer was gone and it was a week when the last time he had seen it and went on to tell me to make a police report but his camera's doesn't go back but about 4-5 days only so he can call me about my rent is due but knowingly that my trailer is gone no more than a 24 hr period or less and I don't think that the Corporate Office knows that he has ppl living in the storages and parked their cars there and slept in their cars and has access to go in and out of the gate after hour's
Don't make a reservation, even for a few hours away. They'll give you the reservation but won't tell you it's only for the price, they can still rent it out from under you without blinking an eye. Doesn't matter how many thousands of dollars you've spent over the years with them. Will be removing all my business from this company.
Man the customer service I always receive here is definetlly top of the line very professional n courteous to say the least just went in to pay my rent 02/28/22 n once again I'm very pleased with the service I received thank u very much
