Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 9030 Watson Road, St Louis, MO

I’m currently renting a space and can’t access it because I lost my key. Was told someone beside the active attendant on location would have to come and break the lock. That was almost a month ago and haven’t heard anything, what am I paying for at this point?

(((( SCAM ALERT)))) Public Storage uses highly manipulative and deceitful sales tactics to rush you into making decisions and accepting FREE insurance whereby you are then locked into a contract and have to jump through hoops to get out. The call center rep claims: "Hurry...Hurry...Hurry.... storage units are renting fast"....meanwhile the rep tries to slam me into a lawyered up contract agreeing to accept their "FREE insurance for 1 month ... but then requiring me to jump through hoops .. after I sign the contract....to get out. She warned me the computer was timing me out if I did not hurry and the storage locker would be gone if I did not agree to their terms and conditions....so I declined to rent storage. I don't need insurance for boxes containing papers. After getting all of my personal information, she notified Public Storage office on Watson Road that I had a reservation for storage. The lady that works in the office called me about my reservation. I informed her I had no reservation and asked who told me I had one, she said she did not know. Another tactic these big companies use to scam and deceive people. The right hand does not know what the left is doing. This is one of many big companies that uses manipulation, deceit and scare tactics coupled with lawyered up contracts. I recommend to STAY FAR AWAY from Public Storage. The rep also told me they can raise prices whenever they want. What a horrible way to do business. Public Storage has terrible reviews on the internet. That's KARMA!

Reserved online, was the same called and told that I could finalize in store when I checked in. Arrived with all my things to store and the doors were locked, no one answered when I called the store directly. Called customer service and they couldn’t get a hold of the store. Was told I could finalize thru the app but that I would be charged $30 for a lock even if I don’t need it. Avoid this place, they are terrible.

Greedy garbage people crank up your storage fee constantly. A unit I started renting at 150 is now up to 439, and I have no recourse but to go to the hassle of moving. I wasn't even notified! *** FOLLOW-UP: Whatever member of "the team" this was forwarded to, with apparent but dishonest "concern," did nothing at all to address the fact that my storage fee was hiked by nearly $100 in a month without any notification until I noticed it on my credit-card bill. Meanwhile, units just like mine are being advertised for $179 a month. You people are nothing but vampires: Disgusting and dishonorable vampires.

Heidi is a fantastic manager. She was able to answer my questions and get us in our new unit ASAP. I have been renting here almost six months. The building is always well maintained. The only thing is the rent can really jump after three months. So if you need it long term, pay several months in advance.

Amanda, at this location is amazing. She's kind , efficient and knowledgeable. Thank Amanda for helping me and my daughter get settled. You need more like her.

After a short time they started price gouging. Raised the rent by $100 so now I just had to pay $280 + a $53 late fee so $333 for a 10'x15' unit. Wow great that leaves me with $30 for gas and food this week. This is pure GREED. I will be getting my stuff out of here and into my apartment as soon as I can afford to do so. I hope everyone wises up and chooses to store with good honest people charging a fair rate. If karma is a thing it's not smiling on you, shame, shame.

I have been a customer there for over 10 years and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for storage needs. Please convey my thanks to Megan for being such a wonderful employee. Megan hooked me up!

Looked at a couple different storage units and even watched a video today! I walked in expecting a DIY tour but was blown away by the level of class and enthusiasm Megan added to my visit. I Definitely did not expect that level of customer service at a storage rental; and not just on site but before I even arrived while making the reservation whoever helped with booking was extremely thorough. Great company I am excited to be a brand new customer!

I just rented a storage unit from the Crestwood location on Watson, and I received excellent customer service there! Alexus was very friendly, greeting me with a smile right when I walked in. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient while showing me the unit I ultimately ended up renting and while processing my rental agreement. Alexus is definitely an asset at the front desk for this facility!

Megan was very friendly and helpful today when I called about my delayed payment. Usually, I am billed through autopay, but I had several chaotic things happening at once in my life that disrupted my payments. Megan called me back promptly, helped me resolve my billing problem and informed me that I had not reactivated autopay when I thought that I had. She also let me know that she goes around daily to check on all of the units, which made me feel even more confident about the service at Watson Road storage in Crestwood, Mo. I really appreciated her thorough assistance and, after renting at this storage facility for two years, I confidently recommend it. I gladly give them 5-stars.

When I stop to get assistance on a storage unit at another location. A nice lady name Meagan at the Watson Rd location was very helpful and friendly.
