Had stored some things for a few months and now most of it is ruined. Furniture that was stored has mold on it, every box reeks of mold/mildew. When I was cleaning out my units it looked like a pipe had burst on the second floor and there was water everywhere. Elevators were broken so I had to haul a cart down the stairs.
Jessie was the wonderful woman who helped me at this location. If she is not a regional manager for Public Storage...she should be.
Professional friendly with sound knowledge and advice.

RENTERS BEWARE!!! - Our monthly rent went up over 37% just after five months!!! I regret renting here and would have went elsewhere had I known this would happen.

This place is a gem! It feels hidden, in a little cove off of Manchester. I ran out of boxes the day before our move. I needed an extra extra large box and a box for the poles for our trampoline. After a few attempts at the big box stores, I began calling moving and storage places. Several places let me know that their inventory was very low and that they did not have large boxes at all. I stumbled by this Public Storage and I was greeted by a very kind woman. In the midst of a very stressful time, it was so nice to experience such great customer service. She took the time to help me to figure out what I needed and she had a great inventory of boxes. I found everything I needed!

This is my 2nd time as a renter. Kami is amazing. Last year, there was a different person there and she was a nightmare! If you left because of that lady, it’s safe to go back.
Ya know, truth be told, dealing with self storage companies has always been one of my least favorite chores. It's a necessary evil of course, but that doesn't change the fact that on most days I would happily endure a root canal or an overly aggressive proctology exam if it could somehow
get me out of my aforementioned storage obligations. But to my absolute shock and delight the manager Kami at Self Storage - Manchester made the process not only easy, but affordable! Having a manager who lives on-site has turned out to be absolutely invaluable. On several occasions, life - as it so often does - threw my family and I a curveball, resulting in our inability to pay on time, but never once were we harassed about our balance. Instead, I was dumbstruck to find they only wanted to find some way to help and work out a mutually beneficial situation. Since Covid, professionalism and customer service like that seemed to be going the way of the dinosaur, so needless to say it was a breath of fresh air. I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone in need.

First, I want to say what sets this property apart is Kami, the property manager. Kami was not only friendly and welcoming, she went above and beyond to ensure we we had everything we needed, responded to calls and requests immediately, and always made us feel like her most important customers.
We have had a lot of experience with various storage companies in both MO and FL. This was one of the best experiences I can recall. The property was spotless, safe, and secure. Whenever we were there Kami always dropped by to see if we needed anything and ensure there were no problems. I have never experienced that at any other storage place. She was protective of us and our property and even checked some of our furniture with us to refute one of our movers. I appreciate that she showed genuine interest and concern. As long as Kami is at this location I will use it for my future storage needs and definitely refer anyone I know in the area looking for a self storage facility. Thank you for making one necessity of a long, drawn-out, multi-stage move a little easier for us!

I thought today was going to be an awful day, but thanks to kami, my day turned out better than it started. I had a rent increase that was incredibly high and kami did whatever she could to help me out. She was so understanding and took the extra time to explain to me my options. She walked with me to open units to show me differences in the units so i could visualize how similar or different they were. It was nothing for her l to show me these units and she did this to help me. Kami walked me through the steps I needed to take to file my insurance claim because one of my boxes tipped over. She helped me with everything i asked for and i walked away worry free. Thanks to angels like Kami I can afford this month now. Thank you so much Kami keep being amazing. I have been with this storage location for about two years, I am very happy with the level of customer service, the staff in the office are very knowledgeable, helpful and kind, she worked with me on several occasions to make sure I was getting what I needed and understood the process. She’s a very hard worker as well, I see her around the property making sure things are being taken care of. Thanks a lot Ms K!

I am so taken with the customer service, friendliness, helpfulness, and genuine kindness I receive every single month I go into the office on Barrett Station Road and make my payment. Kami, the office manager, deserves 5 stars! Even though my storage is in another city and has been for approximately 11 years she goes out of her way to make this less painful and tries to help me best she can. Due to being diagnosed with a rare disease and being immunocompromised I am unable to 'visit' my storage and do anything about it...she is very understanding, especially when I get a rate increase that I feel is very unfair since I've been a long time, loyal customer. She's the best employee I've ever come across, hands down. Please make sure you 'reward' her well! She deserves it! Thank you!

This wasn’t the easiest reservation as it involved third party payment from a nonprofit on renters behalf.

I literally have used public storage about 12 times. This is my first time I used Barrett station Rd. I was terrified b the location just seemed like it was going to be another basic experience. I'm not going to go into detail, but I will say, KAMI had made me feel like I'm her favorite customer. She has spoiled me with her calls making sure I am enjoying my storage, making sure things are going well. She always make suggestions when she see a need that I could benefit from. I'm really going through a dark time in my life, being displaced, pregnant, and my kids missing Christmas, all that aside, I was gifted a property mgr who truly just warms my heart and even has offered to help me move my belongings in bc she knows I'm on bedrest ....I found out last night she is a Leo like myself ..now I love her twice as much.

She checked on me when I moved in and called a couple of days later to make sure everything went smoothly. She is a treasure and I appreciated her help through my move. This Public Storage at Barrett Station has a new manager, Kami, and she has made a huge difference. I have been unhappy with Public Storage and the previous managers because you could never get in touch with them. I had a light bulb fixture in my unit, which is on the second floor so it was dark, that didn't work and didn't get fixed for over a year. I also left my extra key at the office so they could have access to my unit so they could fix the light and then they misplaced the key. Kami was very helpful when I went to my storage unit this last time. She made sure all was good in my unit and replaced my lock so that I could have my second key. Thank you Public Storage for bringing in someone who is responsible and dependable.

The location at 2211 barret station road, is my go to location. I've used multiple storage facilities and have always been disappointed with lack of management and cleanliness of the properties. My experience was excellent. Kami and Kadie were very helpful and excellent. they went above and beyond with helping me with my paper work, finding a unit, even setting up my app. They were awesome. It is hard to find great customer service now a days, and they excelled and made my rental easy and pleasant.I would highly recommend Public Storage and give them 5 stars. They even came into the unit and made sure the movers set it up the unit to where I could access my belongings and the lock was on the unit. Kadie and Kami are fantastic and very helpful. They asked questions showed me how to use the app and were so kind and caring to my needs as a customer.

I was alone moving my things out of storage with my 2yo daughter and the manager Kami came by and offered to help me and I was so grateful. She stayed and helped me move all of my big items and advised me on how I should pack out the truck. I was really blown away because that isn’t apart of her job description none whatsoever and she really went above and beyond her customer service duties. She said she understood because she’s had to move a couple of times alone before, but her compassion and selflessness was just beautiful and I really appreciate what she did for me and my daughter. I loved the storage facility and it was clean and I felt safe being there(even after dark), but the highlight was definitely Kami. Thank you again and I’m so grateful that you chose to help me that day, I don’t think I could’ve gotten it done without you. My experience with public storage definitely ended on the best note.
Kami S at Barrett Station road was incredibly helpful today, suggesting some storage solutions that had saved me money greatly. She was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the property which helped finding the units almost instantly. She is incredibly customer-oriented, which benefits whether or not I want to go to places like this.

When I got there, Kami (mgr) was quick to help me navigate the facility, access the app, and walk me through everything. She walked me to my unit which needed to be cleaned up a little. She immediately got it in stellar shape and then offered to help me protective flooring and plastic wraps to put over my furniture. She knew I had another load to bring back and had a pull cart waiting for me to use which made my life way easier. Kami really takes pride in her work and making the customer happy. I am very impressive with the technology (app to open the gate and doors) and especially the customer centricity of Kami.

Always a great experience. Katie at the front desk is always helpful and knows her location very well. I wouldn't use any other location for storage in the area. They have both inside and outside units that are Easily accessible and unlike most other facilities, the carts to move things in and out are always centrally located and not randomly spread out where they're hard to find. 6 stars
