This year I had to move, once I realized I couldn't take all my belongings I decided I would need a storage unit. The decision was a last minute call. I googled storage units near me. I found Public Storage. I was able to do everything online and downloaded the app. I had a unit with in an hour on a Saturday. They gave me my location and storage unti number. They had the keys and lock waiting for me there at the unit. I did all this with no human interaction. Super easy process.

Reserved a unit online 2 weeks in advance. Next day get 3 calls starting a 930 am ... Overall 7 calls called and left a message day after I got the 1st 3 calls ( I work nights ). Confirming the date I will be there . No call back then over the next week get 3 or 4 more calls. Called and confirmed again to meet the POS manager at 12pm on the day I reserved it for. Arrived 15 minutes Early an no one there and door locked so waited till 12.15 no answer when I called, no call nothing. Leave and get a call at 1230. NO THANKS .... Please find a new manager people deserve a better experience and service.

The property manager Bobby was a big help with pricing units for me when I called. He was friendly and courteous.

Beware, huge rate increases! No protection for consumers in this market, it seems completely unethical. In the 2 years I've had my storage unit the price has more than doubled. It started as a reasonable (introductory) price, but an increase comes quickly, then annually. Went from $216 a month two years ago to $480. So if you need to store items for more than a year, you might want to try someplace else.

Got locked inside exit facility, because keypad was shut off. Was not able to EXIT. Called customer service, they tried to open gate over the phone. Did not work. Kept telling her, that it was not opening. Customer service then told us she didnt know what to do and then told us we should walk home. We live 1.5 hours away. Called Police, they came within 30 minutes, meanwhile customers trying to get into the facilty could not as well, because of keypad. Apparently, the Police have a universal key, and they were able to open gate. I would assume customer service would know this. Thankful, there was not a medical emergency, or worse. Emailed the facilty and customer service, NO REPLY. It has been over 3 weeks.

I’ve had a few bad experiences with this place 1 I had mice in my first locker destroy part of my couch and had mouse dripping everywhere AND I’ve been having difficulty with payment’s processing and taking up to a week to process and now the app is saying it can’t process my card so I’m getting irritated

Needed some temporary storage space and this place seems to have good dry spots, as well as the automation on getting a spot all online. We did had a request that was not able to be done online, and the local staff manager, Jennifer helped us out easily on these items. This site is well run with good staff!

This place has allot of theft occur, there camera and security isn't working and your stuff isn't truly safe so don't put stuff of value as it will be stolen!

Disgusting lot, constant price hikes with no warning, there are much better units out there. Go somewhere else.

I rented from Nov 2022 to Jun 2023. Within 3 days of storage rental, my unit was broken into. The security cameras were down, so no footage could be used as evidence. While my few interactions with the storage manager were polite, no one was available at any of the times that I was physically at my unit (at least once a month to check on my stuff) despite advertising open office times. Generally, public storage has an easy to use app, and was helpful with connecting me to their provided insurance which helped me recover some of the lost value.

Great place clean and well run. I recommend them.

Do Not Rent Here! Storage not secure! My unit was broken into and they refused to fix the damage done. The unit was basically open to anyone. I asked to have the problem fixed for 11 months. It is still unfixed. There is a gaping whole in the ceiling. They refused to allow a call back from a supervisor. After 3 years I'm moving to a SECURE storage facility. We were one of 15 plus units broken into. They didn't even bother to call and tell me, I had to find out myself.

Worked with Shellie. She was great at explaining everything and making it all hassle free and easy. Seems like a good and secure place to store your stuff, I’m looking forward to moving in! Security and cameras everywhere and very friendly employees!

Initial experience was fine but I reserved a larger unit as I needed more space. The manager rented out the unit I reserved then basically told me that's tough and did nothing to make it right. I scheduled a move out and the email I got mentioned I would get a receipt for anything due or credit owed. Apparently they don't give credits and haven't for years. I was once again met with apathy. Worst place ever and worst customer service ever.

Some difficulty reaching the office when calling but no negative experience overall with the office. Ice and snow built up along the door which prevented access to the unit. The outdoor garages have a rope to help open the door which was buried in inches of ice. Not a fan. Overall, frequent price increases and lack of upkeep is the reason why my family has had a hard time here

This place is a joke. Within a couple of months of renting the unit they raised the rent by over 50 dollars a month. I had to spend a half an hour removing piles of snow and ice that had been pushed against the door, then had to chop through the many inches of solid ice that the rope they have attached to my rental units door was frozen in, to be able to open the door to my unit. The parking lot was a skating rink and when I spoke to the man about it he basically told me, too bad, that I would have to deal with it myself and there was nothing he could do. The “security” gate was standing open and apparently stuck that way when I arrived, and still stuck when I left. I would definitely move my things somewhere else, but now I am afraid I would move it and the next place would be the same. This is my first experience at renting a storage unit, it has not been a positive one. I’m not sure what they use all the money they get for rent at this place, but it certainly isn’t used to maintain the property or keep things in proper working order.

I WAS GETTING EVICTED IN OCT. OF 2019 WHEN I MET PAUL AT PUBLIC STORAGE. PAUL GAVE ME REALLY IMPORTANT INFO ON HOW TO MOVE MOST OF MY PERSONAL PROPERTY INTO AN APPROPRIATE SIZE AND AMOUNT OF STORAGE AREA NEEDED. PAUL IS A VERY NICE INTELIGENT MAN WHO UNDERSTANDS STORAGE NEEDS OF PEOPLE. I DIDN'T GET ALL MY PROPERTY OUT BEFORE THE DEAD OWNERS DAUGHTER SLIT MY THROAT AND STOLE ABOUT $ 23,000 OF MY STUFF BUT THANKS TO PAUL I GOT MOST OF MY PROPERTY OUT AND SAVED INTO THE PUBLIC STORAGE GARAGE.
