Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 240 Arlington Ave E, St Paul, MN

Stored my cargo trailer at this storage facility. The propane tanks were stolen from the front of the trailer. I left messages with the property manager but no one ever called me back. I reported it to the police but couldn't access the surveillance cameras to finish the report. Very disappointed with this service. The inside storage may be great, but don't waste your time and money on the outdoor storage. I would leave 0 out of 5 stars if possible.

Sandy had great customer service. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. I would definitely refer this Public Storage location to others.

With all these Great Reviews, I decided to go for it!!! I'm so glad that I did.... Everyone is so right about this place!!!! It's very clean and well lit.. Oh!! The Customer Service is Awesome!!! I had Sandy too!!! She goes above and beyond couldn't have felt more at home with her friendliness her great sense of humor!!! I would highly recommend this place.. The security is also great, with cameras facing every direction. It makes you feel safe and also comfortable with leaving your belongings here inside these climate controlled unit's!!!! I wouldn't go anywhere but here, also great online deals!! Go for it!! you will not be disappointed here!!! Excellent location and awesome customer service from Katy, she went the extra mile to make sure everything was set up right and answered all our questions even past the closing time and made sure we got to our storage. Highly recommend her and the location she is managing.

Public storage is AWFUL! We had our stuff in the one in St Paul and the people are very rude, they never contacted us about a mouse and flea infestation happened, we never were told by any employee, we went to get something out of there and it was awful had go buy flea spray and rodent poison never so much as an apology DO NOT EVER EVER EVER USE PUBLIC STORAGE! Plus they up your rent by $60-$80 whenever they want to. Needless to say we found a much cleaner and very reasonably priced, for the same size storage unit we are paying less by more than half. I can't stand a business that is ok with ripping you off. Not to mention if your monthly payment is late they send you texts that are rude as hell one we got said "you better pay your bill or pay the consequences" horrible business I woul love to give it 0 stars but to leave a review you have to give at least one star

Sandy not only gathered carts for us and was very helpful at showing us the best route to get to our storage locker and where to park but she also stayed after hours on her time to let us move everything in. Sandy... she is AMAZING! For someone so over worked as you are, you always have a big smile and a great attitude! She goes the extra mile to ensure you are a happy customer and your needs are met 100%!!!! She is the only one there on most days, so she can't be every where all the time.. be patient. She's only 1 person!

Came here at 9:30am on Saturday, even tho it’s says it’s open it was closed and no one answered my calls and seemed like no one was inside.

Clean and the guy we dealt with was amazing and helpful. The only thing I could say is a downfall is the hours wish they opened earlier and stayed open later.

The manager of this facility has been amazing. She has been very kind and accommodating and she has helped me with everything I have needed. The facility is kept very clean and I am thankful to have such an amazing manager of my storage facility.

If you’re interested in a unit I highly recommend getting one sooner than later. Very affordable and friendly customer service. Sandy was helpful and understanding.

Lovely experience. Ben and Jacob were very helpful. I lost my storage lock keys and Ben and Jacob were on it! I didn’t listen when Ben said it could take 7 days to cut the lock… he did it right away for me the next morning which was awesome because I already had my movers there. Would definitely come back! Sandy at the front desk was super helpful and VERY VERY patience with me. I wasn't sure what size unit I needed she personally brought me to each unit to give me an idea of how large of a space I needed if you need storage come down to public storage and ask Sandy she has very good knowledge!!

I had a great experience here. Sandy was helpful in walking me through the online reservation process when I needed to change my move-in date, and Jennifer promptly called me back to set up a tour of the facility before I rented which was super nice. I appreciated that the lease was month to month, because when I reserved my unit I was anticipating using it for over a year and circumstances changed and I didn’t even need it for the full month, so that was a huge help that I could just go online and schedule a move-out date without any penalty charges. The fees were reasonable, the facility was clean, and the property managers were on top of things. I would definitely recommend this place!

Dedicated workers out in rain keeping the property clean!

Sandy couldn’t have been more accommodating. She was more than understanding of our situation. We arrived with a 26’ foot U-Haul completely packed full of our belongings. However, we did not know. That they close at 6 o’clock or and we got there at about 5:15 PM. Sandy not only gathered carts for us and was very helpful and showing us the best route to get to our storage locker and where to park but she also stayed after for about three hours on her time to let us move everything in. I can’t save her enough. What an unbelievably nice gesture for someone that didn’t have to do that at all. I will definitely be recommending this public storage facility to everyone I know. Just want to give a shout out to Sandy Woods for her incredible customer service!! Helpful in finding solutions and resources very knowledgeable to help us find ways to save money. Some of our stuff was stolen so we had to terminate our lease, she notified us and put a lock on it. Sandy has the type of “at your service mentality”.

This storage has bad management...this door and the only loading door has been out of order for more then 3 months and hasn't been fixed. Management needs to do a better job of maintaining the building.

The staff are very kind and relatable. The only problem is that the place has vermin. Other than that it's a truly nice storage facility. I recommend totes so everything is air-sealed to ward off the pests.

Loading doors didn't work for storage had to walk way to other end to get out...my first time having storage it was way out the way and I passed up many..but I won't do it again...it's like a mice trap...... Received fantastic service getting the issue solved. The manager gave me a call back and she is amazing.... I think it may be that the storage is so big.......lol thanks manager for understanding.

Building is kept really clean inside, outside is decent

AT first things where great I moved for a 5x10 to a 10x10 indoors for $10 more now I am paying $140 for that unit and when i asked why the price on your webpage shows $68, i was told in i the contract that we have the right to up the rent at any time, i asked again about the price and wast told then move to that unit and in 3 mounts we will just up the price again. It's like they don't what costumes to stay with them and would rather have empty units. Giving 1 Star because 0 is not an option

This is by far the BEST experience I’ve had with a storage facility manager. Sandy is SO patient, kind, and understanding. She has Gina above and beyond for my sister and I. I would recommend this facility over ANY I’ve used in the metro.

The Manager Sandy is Very professional. She goes the extra mile for customers. She works very hard at keeping the site clean, neat and tidy. It's unfortunate that some customers lack "class" and don't clean up after themselves (trash, garbage and their mess tracked through out the building )

This place is the cleanest storage place I have ever been to...like white glove check clean!!! Sandy is phenomenal!!! ❤️ Her. I had a feeling I ordered the wrong size unit and i was gonna need a bigger one.. I called them to see what the best way to upgrade my unit and I got voicemail but didn't leave a message. I get a call back and Sandy was so helpful as to what they had available and what I needed to do from there. I said I was on my way to come see the units she was offering. She had units opened and spot swept before I got there (I lived 5mins) from the storage place). She was so sweet and super accommodating and made sure I knew how to get into the service area and where bathrooms were and found me a unit closest to the service door which was even better since j have a bad back and long distance walking can be difficult at times. the paperwork for upgrade was quick and easy I was in and out in 10 mins.

After checking several public Storage I finally found one My 1st biggest help was the woman that was helping me in customer service she kept me informed she kept reaching out to me And she pointed me finally in the right direction And when I finally got there The lovely lady met me with a smile And boy was I relieved The best customer service I have ever had I forgot the young lady name but thank you thank you

I am really appreciative of how nice this Young woman was. She was very helpful and patient with me, including through any inconvenience I caused while moving in lol. She nicely explained everything to me detailed and made me feel very comfortable with the choice I made of renting with them.

Check in was quick and easy. Sandy was amazing! Walked me to my unit so I knew exactly where it was when I moved my stuff in. She was friendly and to be there on her birthday definitely shows her dedication! You deserve a bigger trophy for sure. I give a 10/10 sandy deserves it

Sandy does an excellent job of running this public storage, she is organized, professional and very helpful. One of the best property managers I've ever dealt any any storage facility. She doesn't just sit in the office she also is checking the facility, cleaning and helping people. Public Storage is lucky to have her as one their employees. No doubt one of their best. She deserves a super big raise and really nice bonus. Alex is also very helpful. Only dealt with him for a payment but it was busy, he helped every in a timely manner, was professional and nobody was upset. Another one of public storages great employees. He should get a raise and bonus too. 7/26/2022 - wanted to say I had another great experience at Public Storage. Trista on 7/25/2022 was very helpful and despite having an extremely busy office when I arrived not long before closing, she was polite and helpful and had her hands full. Very knowledgeable about her job and friendly. On 7/26/2022 I had Sandy help me. She remembered me and again had her hands full with lots going on. She keeps the place clean, despite how large this place is, while still being available to customers, who I personally witnessed both days that were rude and left messes that had to be cleaned up. This was both days I was there. These ladies kept their cool, despite being talked to in a rude manner they did not deserve. Public Storage is lucky to have them as employees. They deserve a raise and/or bonus for working so hard and knowing how to do there job in a profession and personable way. It doesn't look easy. Its a great place to store your stuff. Thank you both.

Process was quick and simple. Lady in the front showed my where my storage was. Nice lady indeed. I both like and dislike the storage being inside the building. Pro: Safer and will keep my stuff in good condition. Con: You'll have to put your stuff on dollies or something to push it to your storage. Also, only one car can back up to the door. If there are others there that day, the entrance can be very crowded. Regardless, this place still deserve 5 stars.
