Lack of communication with the property manager,
No actual times that they'll be in.
There has been an "IT issue" since Saturday but we've seen multiple people access their units. I was told they'd call us with a temporary key so we could have access to our property/belongings. If this is supposed to be a safe place for our belongings why the hell is there no communication with us or access to communication with you guys? We can't get ahold of property manager and it's not always an option for us to drive down there.
Biggest complaint here is the lack of information and being told he would call us back. He didn't, I've called multiple times with NO answer. I've left 2 voicemails... 1st I was nice about, 2nd one I mean. The second we have access to our belongings we're out.

I think his name is Tom finally came to the office. We talked a bit and he was understanding of me being upset and wanting to rage; we joked a bit and he was able to get me in. It was a temporary code... but I hope the IT gets itself figured out.
Seriously if you're about to leave a review because of the same issues - you aren't alone and it may feel like it's choosing it's victims (don't let that make you go crazy, you're complying and you paid; you're valid).
Seriously though, I think a text line with whoever is in office would be beneficial/office cell phone.
Other than the issues this week it's been smooth. Although my partner did point out that maybe y'all can give those of us struggling with this issue a month free of rent/no rent. 😉🤷♀️

I called up there and have never rented a storage unit before and didn’t know how much space I needed or anything and Karl took the time to listen to my situation and figure out the best unit size for me and it was under what I had budgeted for which was an even bigger win! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. Truly the best experience I’ve had anywhere as far as customer service goes. I have been renting a unit for almost 6 years with my sister. The price did go up on August 1, 2024. I called and spoke with James and he was really nice and accommodating and worked it out so that I can keep my old price on my storage unit.
We loved getting a unit here for our move. It made it really easy for us to move things out in stages and then to store things while we were in transition. I love the garage doors and how the building has AC! It was so easy to get signed up and cancel the unit. We would totally recommend for anyone moving!
Tammy and Katy were amazing to my mom and I. Tammy gave us the best selections for what we needed to be successful for our move and Katy came around with her joyful personality, making the customer service an extra inch better! Thank you galls for being so helpful!

Nice new and clean facility, helpful staff, but has a very small indoor horseshoe style driveway to load/unload. They have a 30min limit, but I’ve never seen it enforced. Can get pretty busy, and you just have to wait for a spot or shlep your stuff in from the parking lot.

Just needed a storage space for a week and was able to get a unit in my neighborhood for a special deal. A bit of a learning curve for a first-timer, but after that first time using the place was slick. Fast doors for in and out. Under the roof loading is great! Met the manager Tammy for my checkout and all went smoothly.

Peggy showed me a storage unit that was for rent. I was told to rent that unit I had to do it over my phone. I stated many times that was the unit I wanted to rent. So I went to my truck and purchased the storage unit online. I moved all my stuff in the next day. One week later my lock has been cut. The storage unit she showed me that I confirmed that was the one I was going to rent was apparently not my unit. I went to the main office to try to figure out what was going on and she tells me I need to buy another $30 lock. I came back the next day hoping to deal with a different person. Fortunately Tammy was there and walked me through everything and we got it all figured out. She was very helpful and kind the whole time. Was going to move to a different storage company if it wasn't for Tammy.

Rented a 10 x 10 for 5 years. It was originally called "Beyond Self Storage". PUBLIC STORAGE bought them out a few years ago. They did change out the vehicle entry roll up style doors. They now go up almost instantly.
It is climate controlled, has 2 elevators, and 2 restrooms: toilet, sink, soap, mirror, tp, electric hand dryer.
There are NO trash cans. I'm sure this is because if there were, some people would probably end up leaving old mattresses next to a trash can and consider it done.
Can be hit-or-miss when loading/unloading when driving your vehicle inside due to other customers. It is nice to be able to load/unload inside out of the heat, rain, or snow. There is about enough room for 4 vehicles inside. I'd say the best times to go there is between 10 am and 2 pm weekdays, and Sunday mornings.
They do sell moving supplies like cardboard boxes, packing tape, etc.

We moved into the space in March, the restroom 🚻 was repaired by May. The staff is great, especially Lori who is there the most. It is kept clean when staff is on site. Renters should take care of their own trash instead of leaving it on the floor! Maybe having a trash container by the office door would help that. I now have a second unit because I moved out of an outdoor facility and love it inside.
This place is awesome, and the customer service is 10/10!!!
Nice clean units but some of the worst customer service I've seen. Beware the fees and extra charges that they will surprise you with.. Make sure to take photos of any promotions or ads as well as they will quickly try to back out of them.. Avoid if possible 30 days for a small 10 by 10 will run you $250.

The bathrooms haven't been available for use for over 2 months. This facility was bought by Public Storage a few years ago and has gone downhill since. It's quite filthy compared to its previous ownership. We won't be customers much longer. 1/2/23
I would actually go zero stars... But it's not an option. This place is a total rip off in every way the illegally sold my unit. Way ahead of schedule and I'm honestly thinking I'm not the first to go thru this with these guys

Had some technical issues with them in the past, but it's always nice to know my things are safe and not infiltrated by rodents or pest.

The property manager Lori is phenomenal! She took the time to understand my needs, provided creditable recommendations and has wealth of knowledge regarding the industry. Plus, the bathrooms and facilities are well maintained. I look forward to continuing my business at this Public Storage location.
Besides Lori this place does no hold up to there end of the bargain! The storage before had awesome hours , movable hoy s for those f us who work work work! If I were to have moved out I would have had to Park on the street with my truck walk up hill with my things to load the truck ridiculous the doors keep breaking can’t even get to my storage because of my hours at work and the hours of a storage changing so much I think we should all get free month
My rent has been raised 3 times! hours changed making it difficult to access the units doors have been broken more then not. Can't bring truck in. Because of the hour change they are so busy people on the street waiting to get in the lot.. 930 am to 6pm on the week day's.. normal working hours and the weekend's forget it 9 to 5.. can't get in the lot
This place is very clean and organized. Lori was also very nice and helpful! I really liked how there are carts that we were able to use to haul things easier. I'm glad I found this place!

Was charged over $200 for not even being able to get into our unit, when we finally got a hold of the “manager” she claimed that we had not been there and she was there every day, long story short when we asked for our money to be refunded she was very rude about it. And we only ended up getting $8 back as a refund.
Lori was great to work with!! She showed multiple units and guided me on appropriate size to meet my storage needs. She was also helpfull in cleaning the mess of mistakenly ordering two units online (which I've heard is a common occurrence when trying to reserve a unit and then ordering a unit). If this happens be sure to check your bank accounts for proper refunding. Haven't received mine yet... been 2 weeks. Maybe it'll be deducted from next month invoice?
Seems like every time we go there the main door into the loading/unloading area is broken.
Today no trucks - trailers allowed to enter.
This place is very well kept up. We been using Lindstrom storage solutions for a little over 2 yrs. It's very clean, storage areas are nice and big (like we need) or smaller versions that fit your things. Kyle's customer service is awesome! If he can help ya, he will! If anybody needs to store there things, look these guys up!!
Moving is always hard, but Lori at Public storage went above and beyond to help us find the right storage unit for our needs. She deserves a raise and a bonus for her customer service. I’d drive well out of my way just to work with Lori at Maplewood Public Storage. The facility there is great & clean too.
