Good afternoon. I don't like the fact that it's hard to speak with the property manager at the fort washington location. Also, I did not sign up for auto pay but you all took money out of my account without letting me know. I want the option of coming to the public storage location in person to pay my bill.

Don't bother with this facility. There is another up the road that is better. The staff is never present during their own posted business hours and are rude when you interact with them. And, if you think you are going to speak to an actual customer service agent on the phone, think again. I just wanted to pay a bill that a staff member insisted I owe because I move out of the country tomorrow and no one will take the payment. I try to pay online and I can't because the website and actual app won't let me. I told the site manager and she insisted I come in and pay. I explained I physically cannot and she commented that if I don't it will appear it will be sent to collections in 10 days. I just need a resolution! And, I don't have the time to wait on hold for an hour.

6 months after renting a storage unit they increased the rent by 42%. Predatory rental practices, in my opinion, as they know it would be very difficult to move to another storage unit.
Update: Danielle contacted me to adjust the rate a little. I appreciate it but not telling renters about rate increases that are clearly planned ahead of time is not a great business practice.

Normally, I don’t a problem here, but today when I pulled up a little after 4 PM, the lights were on. When I got out of the car the lights were off. I rang the doorbell because I saw the young lady’s vehicle parked outside, and I waited in the rain a couple of minutes hoping that she would answer the door, but she didn’t. Unless she is at dinner, I don’t understand why this facility is closed at this hour when it’s posted online to close at 9 PM. This is frustrating bc I can’t make my payment online since I have multiple units and it only recognizes one of them. 😩
Ms. Danyelle is such a great soul it was a complete joy to meet her and of all of your employees come with this type of energy I will send everyone to Public Storage!

The parking lot is small so if there are more than 3-4 vehicles on the lot, it becomes a bit tight and frustrating. Some of the units could use some ceiling repairs but it's definitely a cool place to store your belongings.

I was very pleased with the outstanding customer service provided by James at the Fort Washington location.
They have good customer service, but pricing is a rip off. We’ve had our storage until for only four months and have already received notice that our storage unit monthly rate will increase by $100 next month! At this rate, we’d be paying an additional $200 + by January. We plan to get rid of our unit within the next two months. It isn’t worth paying $550-650/month.
I want to give it up to the Fort Washington location for especially customer service today. I had a few issues with my move in at a different location and Ronnie was able to get me all set. He was very accommodating and helpful!
