Manager Shelia is a very friendly person and helped us with space and extra details we need....
I’ve had my storage unit for over a year at the elkridge location, and I must say it’s been very convenient from the location being very centralized, and my unit space. I just want to give a shout out to the manager “T”. I went in one morning and my storage key fell in one of the most difficult spots in the crack of the unit. It was impossible to see or feel. He stepped off from what he was doing and decided to give my problem 100% attention. He was creative enough to make some magnetic device that was able to pick up the key from that tight area. I’m just appreciative, and really appreciate his attention to detail, patience, and great customer service in this matter! Very thankful! If anything this will definitely make me renew next year!
Very clean and very organized
This is an update to my previous post. I am still a patron of Public Storage (formerly EZ Storage). Shelia is such a joy. She is pleasant, accommodating, and patient. The facility is clean, the location is safe, and I am very happy with the service to-date.

I'm only putting 1 star because it's not public storage fault. But there is an older guy who works there who is extremely unprofessional. I have had 3 encounters with him now and he has been rude each time. I have been renting here since it was ez storage, and then public storage converted over. I pay 145.00 a month to rent here and never got bad service until this employee who is clearly unhappy with whatever is going on in his personal life and inflicting it on others. The last incident happend this past Sunday and he wouldn't give me his name. When I told him I was talking to management. He said "I don't care you can call whoever you want" when I spoke to a customer service rep I found out he made a note on the account, I'm assuming to cover himself because he knew I was calling. I have call set up with the district manger and I am not going into details what happend here but it's sad when you pay your money some place and that's the service you get. Again my service prior to this man, great someone needs to talk to him about what it means to be a professional because he clearly is lacking that in this role.
Juanita helped me with a smooth transfer process. Was very sweet and I hope to see her in the office more often when I stop by!

I can’t believe this place! I hire movers to put my stuff in storage, and the place isn’t even open for me to get my key and lock. If someone is taking break, they could at least put a sign on the door.

Vonshay was amazing! She took her time and explained the whole process to us. She was very patient and made sure she answered all our questions. Moving things in to a storage can be stressful but she helped make this process go as smooth and simple as possible. You can really tell she cares about her customers. This location is hands down the best in the area. I would 100% recommend public storage to my friend’s, family and everyone! Thank you Ms. Vonshay!

Very clean kept area, however, good luck with needing any on site assistance, been here 4 times and no one is ever at the office & locked as if they are closed. Also in the summer for temperature control 80 degrees is what your stuff will be sitting in… 80 degrees is hot , it would be great if y’all could bring the temp down to make it cooler for the price we pay. At least 75 degrees.
Very clean storage area and well organized. Property manager T, was very helpful and friendly assisted me with several inquiries and explained the steps as I was a newcomer. 5 stars.

Avoid this place! THEY ARE RUDE, UNHELPFUL, UNRELIABLE, and UNREASONABLE! I give them 1 star only because 0 stars is not an option. Aside from the hidden fees, the service is less than mediocre. I called multiple times with NO return call. I left several voicemails and never got a return call. I came to the location multiple times and no one answered the door. when I was finally able to catch someone in the office, THERE WERE MORE HIDDEN FEES AND I LEARNED THAT MY LOCK HAD BEEN CUT OFF. I asked for the contact information for the District Manager and the cashier refused to give me his own information or the information for the DM. When I was inside, there were 2 other people who were also having issues with hidden fees. The cashier seemed nice when we started talking and provided me ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WITHOUT CHECKING MY ID. When I let him know that I was recording our interaction for legal purposes, he then asked for my ID but refused to provide any of the other information I requested, such as the contact information for the DM or explanation for the additional charges. He became visibly uncomfortable and asked me to leave the facility without providing any additional assistance or information. I’m highly dissatisfied with my experience on all levels and will be perusing further action.
I came to the storage unit and T helped me out. Some of the BEST service I’ve gotten in a long time. He was so patient with me while I was trying to decide the type of unit I wanted. He went over prices and details with me until I was comfortable. Literally, he was SO patient. He walked us outside to make sure the codes were working (while it was raining might I add). All with a smile on his face. Amazing service and amazing guy! 10/10!

I split the difference here, as I would give Public Storage 3 stars as a company, based on the fact that they increase rates significantly and frequently once you're in. What makes it worth it is the service at the Elkridge location on Washington Blvd.
Titus has been an immense help since the beginning. He's always super friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions I might have, or offering further assistance with any issues. He definitely goes above and beyond, so he gets 5 stars!
Scott has also been helpful, in my experience, so wanted to give him a mention as well.

I absolutely lucked out with this storage unit. It is in a safe location with lots of space. You need a code to get in and out of the building for extra security.
I’m renting a unit on behalf of the company I work for and am very pleased by the service. Scott is an incredible manager. He is very responsive and able to assist me when very possible. If you’re looking for a storage unit, this location is a must.
