Dottie is outstanding. The app and/or locks can be problematic, but she is quick to jump up and help out. She's also very good at explaining the charges and policies. The rating is 4 rather than 5 because the app is too glitchy.

I just needed a small space to store things and found the brand new Public Storage facility on Cattleman Road in Sarasota perfect. I could drive my car right into an air conditioned bay to unload right by the elevators. I wasn’t able to log in to the app but the guy working there, Osman, was super helpful and efficient.

Highly reccomend this management and location. Dottie will find a solution to your problem if there is one. She goes above and beyond to help her clients EXCELLENT CISTOMER SERVICE.

I rented my unit while people were still suffering from the damage of Tropical Storm Debby. I watched as Dotti patiently guided them through the process taking the stress off of them. My husband said you never see anyone smile at storage units. At this one, I did see smiles. She's one of the hardest workers I've seen. I almost want to own a business so I can hire her! A week ago (early August/2024) our area’s neighborhoods got an unusual amount of rain (ranging from 11 to 18 inches). Streets flooded, homes and cars got ruined, people were taken by surprise and many ended up stranded for 5 days in their homes and unable to leave until the water receded a bit or it was pumped away. Many neighbors simply HAD to rescue and move whatever items they could out of the house, and it was during these circumstances that my husband and I got to see them, meet them, and hear their stories. We were lucky, our backyard was flooded, but our home remained dry; we simply went that day to the new Cattleman Rd facility because we needed some extra room to store boxes and things like holiday items, luggage, and folding chairs… This is when we all met Dottie as well: part compassionate listener, part YES personality gal, and an all around helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient Public Storage attendant. My husband and I witnessed the care and service she provided each customer who -like us- shared their story: some of us moving our treasures willingly, and others unexpectedly forced to do so under the Florida August sun, stunned, exhausted, and sad. Dottie worked helping us all, she listened with an empathetic heart, she held doors, and made everyone feel seen and heard. The Cattleman Rd facility is new and state of the art, and we couldn’t be happier with the location and our space, but, much beyond the building, having met Dottie and seeing her act compassionately and professionally has impressed us tremendously! We know that she made a difference in the lives of the countless people who came to see her seeking much more than space: Dottie provided kindness and shelter to all of us! 10 stars!⭐️
