After a month of having my car in storage I went to pick it up. My car was trashed due to debris falling from the roof. I went to return my lock which my rental agreement clearly states $50.00 will be refunded upon return. This guy told me I had to clean out my space and there was no refund. We’ll see if I get a refund or not buddy:)

Very recently rented a space at PS Bee Ridge location. The 10x10 unit is an interior space at the corner where two corridors meet. Lighting is present in the corridors but corridor lighting is activated by sensor only in one of the two and my vision is very poor (I'm 85). Available corridor light is plainly insufficient.
I appealed to Dale (on temp duty as manager at Bee Ridge) for help in installing an overhead light so I could manage sorting
and arranging things. He came to the unit with a ladder to
reach a high ceiling fixture which, after significant effort on the part of Dale, finally produced light in the bulb I provided. Dale
did this in remarkably good spirit - the fixture was ornery - and had the patience to persevere. Very grateful. It left a good impression during my first week into a contract. Dick LaRoche

Homeless living out of units. Water leaks. Poor ac
Stay AWAY from this place!! I had my work truck/trailer parked here for about 6 months before they broke in through that black fence that is around the property and stole about $5k in lawn equipment in the middle of the night! (my things were all double padlocked!) I called the police the next morning to my finding and made a report on it and told me other trucks inside the property were also stolen from that night, not just mine. I spoke to someone that also keeps his things in this property, and supposedly this isnt a rare
occasion. They target this place quite often. (wish I would of known that now.) So obviously that tells you enough about how much they care. Things are already tough as it is, I was so devastated that I had to start from scratch and buy all new material. I really hope this post helps someone, and makes you think twice before keeping your things here. I moved out the next day anyway and much happier somewhere else, with WORKING cameras and even a staff member on site always.

I've been with them for months, literally no staff exists in the building, called for the manager 2 weeks ago, no calls no texts only person that can even remotely help me is "Frank" I've been told time and time again I need to pay late fees* which I paid for my 1st month in store. these guys make no sense and I definitely will be moving out soon. our entire unit flooded and lost 25k in items. also got price increases of $90
We had to get a storage unit here after the flooding of hurricane Debby. Keegan was so compassionate and helpful as we figured out details quickly to get into a unit of the things that they were able to salvage. Thank you so much, Keegan!

I've had the storage unit for a couple weeks now. It is easy to get to, clean, spacious, secure. There was only one dolly when I first moved stuff in, and it was in use, so that was a bit of a pain. There have been dollies available since then. It's easy in and out when I want to drop things off.

I just wanted to say my experience with staff on March 2 2024, they where very informative and friendly and expedited my account very proficiently and friendly, also the first thing I noticed the fresh smell and the obvious cleanliness in the office area and around the property. Glad I choose this company for my storage needs.
A descent facility. I like the mobile apps gate access feature, and that is the only positive I have. Building D flooded during the 2022 hurricane. There is a drainage canal right next to the building. I rented the 10'×15' in November 2022. My rate was increased by $90 after the first 6 months and I just received another$50 rate increase notice starting February 2024. A total 60% increase in 13 months. I will be moving out.
I was referred to Dottie by a friend, and she exemplified her reputation as a friendly, concerned and extremely effective professional in the storage market. Dottie is a wonderful person and made sure I was satisfied with my needs. I will make sure I only use Public Storage with Dottie again soon. Mark Castelli
The employees were polite and friendly in touring the location. Climate controlled, a bit on the warmer side than expected. Cleanliness was about a 4 star, wide selection of units, area of the facility had leaking on 2nd floor
Spoke with person for apt, went there was closed prior to posted business times. The phone rep found out that office building closed due to no operable ac however, no sign posted or notice to staff. I drove over there for apt eventually found out it was closed, 1 1/2 hrs early & wouldn't be able to view storage unit this day nor the next ( Saturday). I work during the week & needed to get this accomplished on the weekend.
Suggest going to other storage place ( Extra Storage) Clean, new & better run operation)

Before I decided to rent at Public Storage on Clark Road (more convenient to me), I first went to this location. I had stored here back in the day before Public Storage bought it out so I knew of it. Dottie and Tara were lovely to work with. They showed me three different sized units and were patient with my questions, especially since I arrived 30 minutes before closing time.
I booked the unit that day and then went online to their site to complete what they call the "E-rental." I was having problems with the Website and couldn't complete the reservation. That turned out to be to everyone's benefit: it gave me a good night's rest to consider that this location was not convenient for me. Fortunately, the company has ONE computer system and I was able to transfer my reservation to Clark road. So I got to experience working with three different rental professionals at two different locations. I am impressed with how the atmosphere and service brand is consistent. I'd recommend either location.

I rented here for years. It is clean, well lighted, with easy access. The staff, Zogisle, and others are always ready to help, are customer focused, and know the business and the location well. I have had this storage unit since 2017 and yesterday I was checking out and I got to speak with Dottie. She was very nice and pleasant and she helped me out a lot.
Removing my items from the unit I was totally surprised did there were no bugs. I was really dreading doing what I did because I haven't been there in so long and just the thought of Bug's being in and around whether dead or alive was not a happy thought or a experience that I wanted to experience.
This was a nice place to store your belongings as long as you do inside.
Worked with Dottie at Bee Ridge Road location on our rental. A really nice and friendly lady who knows her stuff. She also recommended using the app for access which I didn’t know about but it is great. There are storage alternatives around but great people and service on the front line will keep me coming back. The Zogisle is the man! Very courteous and friendly. Has the greatest stories and small talk as he is looking up info and helping. A+ would recommend.
