Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1169 N Beneva Rd, Sarasota, FL

The Public Storage in Sarasota has raised my rent from $184 to 300 every two months they raise my rent significantly I think their service Terri the manager is an awful person and I cannot wait to get away from the 1169 Bon Neva Rd., Sarasota Public Storage branch because they suck

Con artist do not rent! Told me they can raise rent every month however they want after I have been there 8 months! And already signed contract price! Property managers are useless and could care less if you're there or not! Worst storage unit in Sarasota!

Very difficult to get answers. Called many times being told I would get a return call. Office is often locked. Difficult to vacate. Overall bad experience especially for the monthly rate. Note this company Does not prorate if you exit within the month.

I had 3 hrs left to movement stuff I to the unit I had access to for 2 days prior and the gate locked me out. Paid in full 4 days b4 that... not happy.

I have rented units from several different Public Storage locations and have been pretty satisfied with each one for the most part. After renting from Tiffany I'd have to say that the one on Beneva Rd is by far my favorite. She went above and beyond while assisting me in getting set up with my unit and even helped come up with a solution to an issue I was having with transporting my stuff! She is awesome! I would definitely recommend renting a unit from here and from now on I will only deal with Tiffany because no matter what my issue is I know that she has, and will, always do her best to help me figure out a solution. Actual customer service which is rare these days.

Tiffany is the best. She is always kind and courteous and oh so helpful. She is always busy, cleaning something, helping someone or giving someone a smile with a neighborly and welcoming wave and/or a good morning/afternoon to greet a tenant when she sees them coming or going. But that is why the facility is always in tip top shape. Can’t thank her enough for everything she does for everybody there!!

Tiffany is a very kind person every time I visit my unit I always see her smiling making sure any customer on the property doesn't need anything makes everyone feel welcomed always helpful the property is always clean she is a amazing person public storage is very lucky to have her as a employee

I don’t normally leave reviews but Tiffany has been outstanding. I rented my unit from her and I have been very happy. She’s always pleasant and knowledgeable. She’s the best! 👍🙂

The worst money grubbing company ever!

I would never rent this place again.. The office people especially Tiffany. I believe her name ISIS very rude. Also they have a big rat infestation and the lady didn't even care. I've had numerous stuff chewed and eaten up. Also rat droppings in all of my belongings. And I also found dead rats in my belongings.. I would not waste your time here. There are a million other storage units in Sarasota that are better than this.. I would refuse to even give it a one star rating but I have to or can't post.

Manager is very nice and tries to be helpful, but they have issues maintaining the temperature for climate controlled units. I moved for that reason.

I have to say Tiffany was hands down the greatest person to work with. She accompanied my needs when I needed a unit and then when I needed a bigger one she was able to help me quickly and get me into a larger space. She was a true life saver this week. Thank you for all your help

TERRIBLE NO HELP DO NOT RENT HERE I spoke on the phone with someone specifically saying that I needed a space to fit a vehicle. He proceeds to then say we have a space for your needs and tells me about it to which I then say will work. I pay the fees over the phone and wait 2 days to go in as I work M-F 9-7 or later, upon arriving I look for the unit for 10 minutes to find out it is an indoor unit with access only through a 3 foot wide doorway. I then called them and got no answer to which I left a stern voicemail but did NOT use any profanity. I get a call back today from the “manager” Tiffany who proceeds to speak over me constantly after asking politely to stop doing so, so I could explain my situation. She offered no help, HUNG UP ON ME, and does not answer any of my 6 calls back. I will be in contact with corporate offices so I can speak with someone who is professional and has the brains to try to help a customer with minimal wants/needs. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!

Christina was amazing! She helped me with a situation that I had no clue on how to resolve, she didn’t blink, knew exactly what to do, and we got things squared away in short order.

Exceptionally easy process, easier than I thought. The staff was very professional and knew how to help me with exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend!

Purchased my storage unit online for a very good price. The whole process took less than 30 minutes, but there was a few issues that were not addressed. When I checked in, I needed to download the app, which allowed me easy access in and out of the gate. The manager was available to assist me with understanding the whole system including insurance.

Tiffany was great and very helpful. Will recommend her and your store to others.

I have had my storage unit for 3 years with zero problems. The staff is terrific, and the facility seems very secure. The gate works well. My only concern is the monthly rent price, which is excessive. Truly excessive. August 2022: The rates haven't changed yet. It's still excessive at nearly $500 per month! They painted the outside walls, bit didn't repair the dented aluminum panels. The side chained gate has been damaged for 6 years and looks terrible.

I had to rent a larger unit (20" ) and was quoted a price but when I got there is was a lot more. I was paying over $450 a month for the unit and added in fees. They have been great and, since I had moved a lot into the new place, offered me to transfer to a smaller unit and credit the amount I have paid this month.

Jodi was absolutely helpful. She was knowledgeable and pleasant. We just rented for lease of about 6 to 7 months.
