This is the second time I have used this company. They are convenient and emphasize safety. They have limited access hours but that prevents anyone lurking around late at night. They are clean, well lit and provide friendly service. Today's customer service rep was Frank. He was patient, helpful and very thorough. I will continue to use them especially now that I've been displaced by the hurricane. Great job guys!

I was looking for a large storage unit but had a very difficult time finding one and dealt with some other locations that were not very helpful or kind, but this one was wonderful! Brian was so pleasant and helpful, found me the perfect unit, showed me around the facility, and explained everything very clearly. I would highly recommend this location!

Needed a short term rental after the hurricane. Bryan was outstanding to work with and helped me get set up on the app. Public is lucky to have him working for them. Great guy and company.

Terrible quoted price then price double said HAD to have insurance. What had on storage was less then value of ins and it had deductible so really useless. Big rip off lady wasn't too friendly or helpful either only used less then month.

I went in when the office opened at 9:30 am when I arrived the doors were locked and no one was working. I called and no one answered after sitting around for a half hour talking to customer service a lady finally rolled up on a golf cart. She saw me standing by the door and rudely asked what I wanted. I told her I'd been waiting for over a half hour and her response was I have other work that needs to be done. This was all before she even let me in the door. Ultimately I walked out because of her poor attitude and standoffish behavior. I'd highly recommend everyone stays far away from her and this facility.

I was going to move out of my unit because the storage facility was was dirty but lately I have noticed how much cleaner it has been getting met the new manager who was scrubing doors and cleaning the hallway I will be staying if it is going to remain this clean thanks tiffany

Rats, Bugs. Started at 25 dollars or so for a 5x5. Almost up to $70 !!!!!!!????? They think you will not move out. I did. Threats of I would never be able to use public storage again. ( They are doing me a favor). NEW rude, abusive manager. AVOID

I needed to find a place QUICKLY to store my belongings over the last 6 months and I'm so thankful I chose Public Storage. The process was so easy, the facility was clean and the site manager was always so nice and helpful.

The worst storage the cameras don't work and they let people rob you with out doing anything about it they rude and have no concerns about you or ur stuff

Do Not Rent From Public Storage Public Storage has convenient tools for paying bills, entering gates, renting a unit, and setting up an account. However their business model is predatory and highly greed driven. Their main goal is to extract money rather than secure tenants. EVERY 6 months they increase monthly rates and it will sadly never end!! Just ask them when it will end. My first increase was + $70/month. They may initially offer a request to remain at same rate which may be temporary if they approve that. If there is an error in a payment not going through due to an error in entering a card or bank #, plan to not have notice that there was an initial processing error and being charged a lot. They may or may not take into account a reliable payment history and work with the customer. If you desire to stay within a budget and not be taken advantage of, this place will not account for that. Their soliton to the constant price increases is to move all your items into a smaller unit as that would be priced lower. Really? ..move belongings into a space thats too small and eventually be priced out of that space as well? Oh boy. I suggest doing further research on small businesses that employ a more ethical business model and value of your hard earned money rather than not caring to price you out for their corporate financial gain.

RAT INFESTED ROACH HOTEL . Absolutely disgusting. Ruined 75% of my items in a 10x10 unit . Rats were everywhere and roaches were very plentiful. One of the many things damaged by RATS .

Great place to store your things.and very nice people that run the place.they real care for us to keep are stuff safe .I like the sales women there she is awesome.

The manager on site was extremely helpful and check in was a breeze. The unit is air conditioned, clean, and easy to access. Highly recommend!

They up the price every year without notice,on top of that after paying over 200 dollars for a unit that it’s supposed to be cool..it has been over 80 degrees for as long as I can remember..so you get less,get your electronics destroyed by dust from work they did inside the building..again without notice so you could at least try to cover your electronics so they don’t get damaged..yet they charge you more and more giving you less..bravo!!

10x10 outside with roaches and rats for $272 a month . If you live your rates jacked up every year this is perfect for you!

I got this storage place because it was very convenient and the price was very reasonable, they are renovating the place and it is looking very nice and very cleaned up the staff is very helpful and friendly makes moving a bit easier!

this place need maintenance

We have been renting here for almost two years. I have dealt with several different managers in the 24 months that I have used this location. Ben has been by far the most helpful manager I have encountered here or elsewhere. Ben makes sure we have whatever help we need and goes above and beyond. He makes Public storage look as good and professional as a manager can the problem is most managers won't take the steps necessary to help their customers. Ben goes the extra mile and then some. Thank you Ben!!!!! 😊

I arrived on a Sunday 5min before closing time with a van load of stuff, hoping I could rent a unit. Ben , the manager couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating, despite the fact that it was now closing time. He found me a unit, showed it to me before I purchased it and was just so nice. I’ve been renting a unit at Public Storage a few months and for the most part, one storage unit is pretty much the same as another. It’s semi-outdoors and reasonably clean and fairly priced. I’m very satisfied my payment options and the hours are relatively decent. It definitely does the job and I’d recommend this location to anyone. There’s a young girl who’s normally behind the desk when I go, and she is an absolutely ray of sunshine. I don’t recall her name, but she’s such a sweetheart and I enjoy chatting with her whenever I get the chance. The manager, Ben was a GODSEND today. Talk about above and beyond top tier hospitality and customer service?! It can be rare to find people who love serving the public, but he told me he likes his job and I believe him! Super grateful to be treated like a human being and not a number. The product is pretty standard, but the people are why I had to give this place 5 stars.

Ben and Yani are terrific people to deal with. Ben went out of his way to help me, making the whole experience pleasant and efficient! I can’t give him enough praise for offering ideas and solutions and making the whole experience so much easier and less stressful! Don’t go anywhere else! This has to be the best storage facility in all of Sarasota!

I really wish you didn’t appreciate me, as a customer, so much!! Raising my rent almost 30% is a kick in the groin, as long as I’ve been a customer. I think I’ve been at your facility since 2004. In that length of time I should have secured a place for storage at my home. Oh well there’s always this year to prepare. Happy New Year
