I intentionally went to the facility and showed them a deal for 1 dollar for the first month and the lady looked up units for me that were included in that promotion and I chose one. Then I was charged full price and did not get 1 dollar for the first month. I called customer service to explain what happened and they said the unit that I got was not eligible for that promotion. False advertising and poor customer service.
Robin and Hanne are amazing! From move in to move out they have been absolutely incredible. They are friendly, helpful, professional and go above and beyond here!
This Property Manager is a complete liar. I had a unit at this facility. I moved out Sept of 2023. The Property Manager told me he would credit the month of Sept because I had moved out on the 3rd. Well that never happened. So the unit went into deliquency and there was a lien put on the empty unit in October. So a Delinquency Manager went to the unit in October and cut the lock on the unit. Funny there was no lock on the unit, because I still have the lock. When they cut this imaginary lock and opened the door the unit was empty. Imagine that. There was no activity on my account after Sept. 3rd I tried to rent another unit this week and can't because I have a delinquent balance from Sept. I will never ever rent from this joke of a company again. They are telling me I still have to pay even though the Property Manager said he would credit Sept. because I was out of the unit on the 3rd. I'm reporting them to the BBB and whoever else I can for fraud. Amazing how this Manager only responds to positive reviews. Thar speaks volumes about this company and their shady business practices.
Opening the account online was easy, everything was ready for me the next day. The only problem I had was that the mobile app did not work when attempting to open doors and the elevator. I talked with the on-site staff and they said that the cell coverage at the facility (69th and Indiana) was really bad and was the cause of the problems with the mobile app. I switched over to use my access code and had no further problems. It would be helpful to post a sign warning about the cell problem
Had an extremely pleasant experience with the sales staff Leeland and Robin; the company tried to raise my monthly rate and they did their best to try and get a price reduction for me, and when that didn't work they were super helpful in person explaining what other options I had. They helped me to use the online system to reserve a smaller unit, and were very helpful in showing where the two units were in relation to each other for me to move my belongings down to the smaller unit with the smaller rate. Amazing customer service experience.

The Storage Manager if you can even call him that was so incredibly rude and not helpful. I would also suggest to not rent here and save yourself the head ache as he thinks it's justifiable that they increase your storage rent to more than double what they are showing for the same exact unit online. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from this place.

If you're a thief, please come here, these units are super easy to break into and it happens all the time!
On Jan 19th, my unit and 6 others were broken into. Despite having 16 cameras watching at all times, the storage unit wasn't able to find any footage of the perpetrators.
Then again a few days ago I learned of another 2 units that were broken into. I think the thieves figured out nobody can stop them.
That's at least 8 units in 2 months. Yours could be next if you rent here!
In addition, the managers decided to raise the rent on me a month after the break in, and refused any sort of compensation for my issues, or even just not raising the rent!
Lastly, if you're one of the lucky ones to not get broken into, you won't even be able to get to your stuff. Most of the time an elevator is broken, and sometimes(like today) they're both broken! And there's no way to get to the 2nd floor without the elevator(the stairs are locked), so you're SOL.

Mike (GM) and his team are fantastic! The facility is super clean and well secured. The units have lights in them and there are dolly’s you can use free of charge to help you move your stuff in and out more easily. I highly recommend this place
I had the BEST and most Professional customer service from Heather today at this location. She was so patient with me & explained everything! She also stated that she was new to the company but I can tell you, their training in customer service must be great because she was very helpful, caring & extremely knowledgeable! The staff is really nice, but after my unit was broken into twice and they admitted nobody did the security walk, I moved out. Even locked, the storage unit doors just have to be pushed in to gain access.
Great check-in experience. Mike was very helpful and made me feel right at home. I left a different storage place earlier today because I got a bad vibe... glad I went with my gut feeling and chose this location instead!
Mike, the property manager, was excellent: professional, friendly, and communicative with great follow-up. The facility was always clean, and I felt safe there.

Public Storage scams people they offer your first month for a dollar with your bill ends up being like 60 something dollars then after that the automatically charge you on the 2nd of the month even though you've only been there a week and a half and they will not refund you your money if you move out before then 100% scam their first month free is a scam beware
I want to give a shout out to Mike C. the manager at the Indiana St. location. I have been a tenant here for over a year. I always catch Mike at work: He is cleaning the property, checking locks or helping other customers. Thanks for your care and professionalism. Keep up the great work Mike!
Mike was very kind and helpful when we came in to rent our storage unit. He guided us around the facility and showed us how to use our security code. Couldn't ask for a better person to help us through the process!
I have two storages here, one I had to get urgently last second when the original storage I rented filled up after a move. Mike, the property manager worked with me to get the second one set up late in the day before he left in the evening. He has always been super helpful, friendly, and communicative for the duration I rented the units. When we moved out he was just as helpful in scheduling my move out. A storage unit is really nothing special, but using this storage for the short duration was a relief in an otherwise stressful moving situation and Mike was awesome the entire time! If I'm back in the area again and need storage, I will definitely come back here!
Mike was incredibly kind and thorough when showing me my unit. He was able to answer any and all questions I could have possibly had, and then some. The units are also some of the most affordable around so that’s a nice plus too! Would definitely get another storage unit here if I needed one.

This facility is sparkling clean. Also, I recently recently had to move units and Mike was extremely helpful, offering dollies and even a chair for me to sit in while I unpacked and re-packed.
This location has great customer service! Mike is especially friendly and helpful. He went "above and beyond" to help me with a payment issue that originated at my bank. I've been using this storage facility for three years and am very pleased with the service I get.

I got to my storage unit at 430pm on Christmas Eve. Went to my unit and my keys didn’t work, I left a voicemail. I assumed I wouldn’t hear from anyone for a few days, understandable. I was a tad frustrated because I had no reason why my keys didn’t work. As I’m loading things back into my car, Mike waves me down from the office and asks if I’m Erica. He apologized I didn’t get the notice about my unit (and a bunch others) being rekeyed. He was so nice, helpful and kind. It was 4:51 when I walked in the office, I mentioned I was surprised he was there. He said they closed at 5. He could have easily left that voicemail for after his holiday. But no he went even further above for me, he changed my door code to something I have memorized already. He was so nice, calm and helpful- he very much gave helpful Dad vibes. I was so lucky Mike was there one today. But I will say, he best be getting paid extra for the holiday! He was an Angel today, and I’m so happy with his care.
Emily is one of the best customer service agents I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Covered all my needs and concerns from my first phone call and all the way till we finished the rental contract. The facility is new and very well maintained. This place is definitely better than the other 5+ locations I looked at.

Been here since June 2022, in December of 2022 public storage wanted to increase my rent from 168 to 215 bucks! I was really upset about this because this is a pretty big increase so reviewed the website to find out that they had multiples of the same size unit that was still showing as 168 I called the phone number listed for the property and was able to speak with the property manager Mike. He was very understanding and was able to get everything adjusted back to how it was for me with no issues. His customer service was phenomenal. Thank you Mike.

Mike and the team were so fantastic, kind, and helpful - this was my first experience putting the majority of my household goods in storage, and they couldn’t have made the process easier. They take such amazing care of the facilities, and Mike was wonderful about promptly communicating when I had a question or needed to be updated on something. Would highly recommend!
We were getting ready to move when we found out our new place wasn’t going to be ready in time for us to move in like we had planned which was causing us a great deal of stress. We checked around for storage in our area but they were all very high priced and not maintained then we just happened to see Public Storage on our way home, so we stopped in. Despite it being rather late in the day, Mike who works in the office was very friendly and helpful. He even took the time to show us several different sized units that were available and we decided on a smaller sized unit. However as we started moving things in we realized we needed a larger unit and Mike offered to change that for us with a smile. Thank you Mike for all your help during this stressful time, you have help make our move far less complicated. And thank you to all the people at Public Storage who make sure that their facility is clean and well maintained, it’s how storage should be.

**DO NOT RENT HERE**
My storage unit was burglarized within a week or two of moving in. Top floor, no signs of forced entry. Need to enter several passcodes just to enter the building and get access to the upper level.
Clearly an Inside job, the unit was unlocked, family heirlooms that can never be replaced were taken and they relocked once they were done. Manager was nasty about it when reported. I bet her or another employee's family had a great Christmas, receiving stolen property.
Nobody offered to review footage because they KNOW they're the ones who will be seen taking my things. Police report made but no follow up.
This place is full of criminals - rent elsewhere
Mike has been so kind and such a pleasure to interact with. He has went above and beyond to help me out when my key stopped working for the second time of purchasing a new lock. He has always been so humble and so very kind to me and even more so in my time of great loss and unfortunate ongoings that I am trying to cope with. He is such a welcoming soul and makes me feel at home like I’m visiting family.. The rare family you actually look forward to spending some time in deep soulful communication with. I am humbled to have met this gentleman and am elated to have crossed paths with him. It’s kind of hard to have to be leaving for the betterment of my life. No fault of this facility or the employees, like Mike! But hopefully when all of this is good and well over and/or forgotten, I may return to continue patroning such a fine establishment.

Mike is very kind and helpful and keeps the place tidy. It's cleaner than my house and climate controlled. I almost would rather live there and store my stuff at my house instead.
Safe! I accidentally left with my lock and the worker, Mike, locked it and called me saving me an extra trip and from worrying. Great introductory rate, but after a few months increased but still reasonable and better than other places I've looked. After using the locker for more than a year, that same Mike, got me a reduction for staying with them. I highly recommend them. The biggest con they have is it is not 24 hours, but that's true for most places. Very delighted with the customer service. Thanks

If there were a way to rate Zero, I would. This place is the WORST! I am 9 months pregnant and my move in date to my new place was on Jan 1 (2 days before my due date).
I called in advance to let them know and Mike (manager) said no problem at all, as long as you are moved out on the 1st I will waive any fees for you.
After receiving 3 notices for late fees and having to continually call them, they are not honoring their word and literally charging me another FULL MONTH for moving out on the 1st.
This is absolutely unacceptable and I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone. Where is the humanity, integrity and trust? They also close at 9pm and have a ton of extra fees. It's a challenging to get in touch with them when you really need them.
Do yourself a favor and go with another company in the area that will actually be in service. I will never use P.S. again!
