I had the pleasure of meeting with Gem at the 4370 Youngfield store on Friday, 11/15 for a storage space I made a reservation for. She was welcoming, polite and provided exceptional customer service. Not sure what’s going on with this location, I was told to bring in paperwork for items I’m storing, was told lady would be here from 930-1 I got there at 10 nobody in the office doors locked, not sure how they are running a business with no one to help, was suppose to get a email with passcode never got that. Might just be going up the street where people are on site

Easy to set up rental, took less than 10 mins and Angie was helpful in helping locate the unit and made sure the insurance was covered with my own property insurance. The unit was spotless as well!

Would rate higher but half the time I go there, there is a couple sitting outside with 2 huge dogs that will jump at and bark aggressively at anything that moves. I am very small with a frail back. I am afraid of these dogs potentially jumping at me and knocking me to the ground because this could severely injure me and possibly lose function in one or both legs.
If I keep running into them with these dogs, I may have to rent somewhere else.

Public storage needs to make sure their facilities are working- the codes to the door manually entered and with the app do not work it’s absolutely ridiculous. Why have everyone download an app if it doesn’t work?
management here is incredibly kind and helpful, but there’s only so much that’s in their control. Public storage needs to fix their lock boxes for their customers and employees.

I had a very good experience. Gem did her thing , she looked out for everything I needed . I have no complaints!
Good prices for sizes but homeless people sit outside and break into your car if you leave doors unlocked. (Had to update rating cause downstairs door is broken and I have no access to my unit.) This has been broken for several days without any fix. I shouldn't have to look for an employee every time the door needs opening. Especially after the office closes.
Raised rates twice in the last year. The second rate increase was over 24%, even though the inflation rate was only 4%

I have been a renter at this location for over 4 years, and Angie has been an invaluable member of the customer service team on location in the office.
This is a great place to store anything you need within rules. Right off the highway and easy to get to from really anywhere. Angie is the most knowledgeable of it all boxes, units tape or whatever you need she has it or an answer to go get it. You will not regret this storage decision.

They will raise your rates after a few months ( almost 50%!!), regardless of what deal you sign up under. They lie and tell you whatever to get you to move in. They figure you’ll pay the increase instead of moving all your stuff out.

Ludicrous that this building has 733 units and only 2 carts. I’ve come numerous times and had to sit and wait for long periods of time for an available cart. Inconvenient. I do not recommend. Building is clean so I’ll give them 2 stars.

Moved out yesterday after renting a unit for a year. Never an issue with carts being available, the building was always clean, and the staff was always knowledgeable and professional. Would recommend this location for storage needs.

Recently had a bit of a situation that needed some help resolving regarding a unit for a friend. The entire process took entirely way to long without any real help from staff. The lady at the front desk, Angie, was absolutely not interested in helping resolve anything. At one point I needed to provide a death certificate. After informing her I'd be right back after printing a copy. When I returned the door was locked. Angie came driving back almost 30 minutes later stating she ran to the bank. No sign or communication. Then, it turned out when she pulled up the file she already had the death certificate.
Angie was extremely unprofessional and provided very little assistance unless directly confronted. The phone service was no better as everything I'd call to get information the automated system was unable to help and would discount me.
Overall, a simple 2 day process took 6 months because of a lack of support and help from anyone here. Felt like they wanted to keep charging the account rather than actually help resolve anything. I will not be back to store at this location!

The front desk person is slightly rude. But if you keep pushing her for a return without a receipt (and stand your ground), she will give way eventually. Persevere!
Angie was so helpful and sweet. I had gotten the wrong unit online and she helped me so quickly I was able to switch to the right size right away so I didn't have to drag all of my things back home. She was such a blessing in the middle of all the stress of moving and storing your belongings. This location has always helped me and a special thanks to Angie!

I had a unit that I won at auction and I told them that I’d be there at 10 a.m. My truck broke down and I had to go get a rental so I was 2hours late..Betthy was so nice and friendly..she put me rite at ease and gave me a better start for the day..

I needed to switch my storage unit from a 5x10 to a 10x10 size. Emily helped me by finding an a unit on the same level and close to my other unit. This made it easy for me to move my belongings quickly! Emily has excellent customer service skills and I am thankful for her help! Happy New Year!!!

The staff was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. The units themselves are cavernous. The pricing is competitive, but not the best around.

Front office doesn’t have customer service skills. Visited several times always have a bad attitude. Also, they lock the bathroom during business hours and take 15 minutes to open it with an attitude.

I had the best experience ever today with Angie and Michelle! I had reserved a unit and decided to go get it started a week early. They helped me finish my online registration and I went to go check it out. I realized it was not going to work for me and I needed to jump up a size. Well they were so kind to help me get it all upgraded for a small price increase. Not once did I feel I was an inconvenience. They were even kind about the fact I had my two young children in tow, whom would not stop running around while there. I could not have been happier with my decision to store at this location!
Michelle worked with me with incredible advice and knowledge. Super easy process and she saved me a few bucks here and there.
I recently completed an interstate move. Michelle is a fantastic property manager. She is wonderful to work with, very pleasant, professional and helpful. She made the entire process seamless. She went the extra mile to answer my questions and the questions from the driver of my household items. She showed us our space and how to properly open and lock the unit and also how to navigate the delivery of the items. We sincerely appreciated her encouragement on moving day and helpful responses on subsequent days. My car was supposed to be delivered elsewhere but the driver of the transport showed up at the storage space (without an advanced call to me). Thank goodness for Michelle who took quick action to see who the car belonged to and called me. The transport driver was getting ready to take the car to a wrecking yard! Truly grateful for Michelle. She's the best! It's nice knowing this place is well managed and maintained.

I had nothing but problems with the online system. The staff on site that the 44th and young field location are amazing. They figured out all the problems fast and efficient. Definitely will be using them again.

The building frequently has bums parked or loitering around the parking lot that attempt to steal from you after you walk into the building. Hide or take your valuables into the building, lock your vehicle, or leave someone to supervise your belongings while you load/unload
I have delt with many self storage places over the years and this was by far my most enjoyable. I can't say enough about the quality of customer service and the polite and friendly attitude i recieved from both Michelle and Amber. While it was a stressful time for me they both listened and went above and beyound to make sure all my questions were answered and i was taken care. They made this experience easy and were very pleasent and professional. Thank you Public Storage for hiring quality employees. I will use your service again.
