A reserved spot online was totally hassle-free and the people in the office were great.

They keep the facility clean and they try to keep it in repair.
I need access to the north electric door because I have long things and when it doesn't work, I have to use the south door on the other side which is a long walk carrying something heavy and awkward.
If the north electric door isn't working it should be propped open.
I'm looking around for alternatives in case this continues to be an issue.

Cleaner than most however employees there never pick up the phone, even when I went to the location during business hours, the doors were locked and no employees were there. Idk if they are just chillin on work time or why they're not working during business hours but maybe they need to hire more responsible employees

This is a great storage facility. It is always super clean. The staff is amaizing. Suoer helpful and friendly. I leased a new unit today, Alex and Kevin were great. They are a perfect example of how custermoer service should be. It's rare to have good customer service post-covid and what a refreshing experience this was.

All the locks are the same. My friend got her unit broken into and property stolen and it was evidently an inside job because lock wasn't visibly tampered with. My friend and I and another friend came in today and nobody was there when we needed a dolly. Thank goodness a FedEx man came and carried four boxes out for us. Looks like employees are doing holiday shopping in the storage units. I will be supporting my friend through the whole process. A police report is being filed, hopefully they cooperate without court being required. If you have no other choice but to choose this place please secure your property with an additional lock and take pictures each time you go for documentation.
The insurance they have only covers 5 grand so complete coverage falls on the unit tenants. Unfortunately my friend didn't think this would be something required because theoretically the place is protected but since everyone is packing their audacity this season I recommend having additional insurance.
It is worth noting that the only way to access the units is a QR code/keypad. The locks say on them property of public storage - so they have a master lock for all of them. Unconscionable.
Staff was helpful, especially Amy who gave me a tour, explained everything and answered all the questions that I had about the storage unit and process.

When the time came to move out, the staff were extremely helpful in navigating the process. In particular, Sbeidy and Sonia were knowledgeable and extraordinarily kind, answering questions and helping ensure that my move out went smoothly. Because of my experience at this location, and with these two representatives most recently, I will continue to utilize Public Storage in my next location. We had to move out of another storage place because our unit got broken into 3 times (Extra Space Storage off Chapman and the 57 freeway, do NOT go there). We have friends who have had units here at Public Storage for over 10 years with no issues, so we decided to check it out. It’s cheaper, safer, and they offer insurance on your unit. Sonia helped us when we came to this location off the 55 freeway and McFadden. She was super super helpful and kind and we really appreciate all her help, highly recommend coming here if you need storage!

This was a horrible experience here at this location, someone broke into my unit, twice, but I had to call the cops because they won't do anything about it. I got blame twice for leaving my carboar when it wasn't me, but the thing is don't they have cameras,. Why don't they look at them before blame someone. That's what I told Kristina the first time and I told the same thing to this other lady, but they both walk away and I thought yeah they know they're wrong. Hope I don't have to come back here at this location never again. I used to be at the location on Red Hill and I never had any problems there. But here at this location everything seems to be wrong.
Sonia and Sbeidy went over and above any expectations to accommodate my mother and myself. We needed a 10 x 30 inside but none were available. They did, however, find us 1 10 x 20 very close to the door. This was not a 1 day ordeal. After going through the paperwork of who was due to vacate and last minute vacates they found this 1 and gave us a call. Their customer service is exceptional, they are very pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and a great representation of your company! Assets for sure! 😃

SONIA BUEN CERVICIO.
I made an online reservation and I spoke on the phone multiple times with employees to confirm the move in date. The night before I go there and it turns out that they don’t have my storage space available. Even though he said they have multiple 10x15 units and that they would not honor the online price I reserved it at. It’s a scam. They lure you with a low online price but when you get there in person they quote you something else entirely. Save yourself the hassle. The corporate care line is no help either.

This location is awful. It smells musty the second you walk in. “Customer service” is a joke and they act like they are doing you a favor to unlock a dolly. They have no trash cans but will fine you $1,000 for leaving any trash. No prorated rent if moving out in the middle of a month.

0 stars.......Be aware!!!! Someone broke into our storage. We were not notified till days later, Kat (claims she was the manager) and staff claims they do a lock check every day, all Kat kept telling us is she was not working the day before, however our storage neighbor said they seen our lock missing Days before we were contacted about the incident!! Your items are not safe here!! Keep in mind people can climb up top and look in your storage unit to see what you have inside because of the BS chicken wire Move out as soon as possible!!! They are not helpful whatsoever!!!! *police reports have been and also suggested this could have been an inside job!!!!!!!

I would give this company negative stars if that was an option. Sure the people at the front desk are nice and courteous. But the company is terrible in their business practices.
I went to a Public Storage facility down the road from this location. My "new" unit was so disgusting and smelly I told them I was not going to leave my belonging there. They still charged me a move in fee and first months rent. It took months of me calling and calling the regional manager to get a partial refund. This location is raising my rent almost 20% every six months. And they have had break-ins and theft. Sometimes Public Storage doesn't even have the good faith of calling their tenants to let them know their unit was broken into. This business is on par with tow companies.

I very recently had to rent a larger unit at P.S. to accommodate my things . I would like comment how helpful the staff and especially Christina has been helping me with the transfer. She was very professional , kind and always had a smile. I would recommend this Public Storage location to my friends when they are in need of a storage solution.
My first time renting a storage unit and I have to say it’s not as scary as I thought it would be! Or maybe Christina at the Mc Fadden location was super helpful and made it seamless. Hehe
This place is ridiculous. I was evicted for leaving the property twice after 6pm and then when I attempted to ask for them to do a courtesy lock cut so that i may remove my items it the took over a month to do so and still they expected me to pay for each month that went by before cutting the lock . The only way I was able to remove the items from the property was if i payed those months that they waiting for the lock to be cut off and not only that but also put my space up for auction because i refuse to pay for the months that my property was there because even though if i would have kept up with the monthly payments i would still have to remove my items from the unit. Basically they are keeping my things from me even though it was not my fault that it took them 2 months to get the lock cut off. Is theft? Or am i wrong?

I love public storage, but the prices have gone up tremendously.... our manager Christina we worked with today, is fantastic, she helped us with our paperwork and rental agreement. And we got a good deal on our insurance
