Don't rent here if you work a regular job as you will never be able to access your storage unit since they closed at 6PM. While other storage within the area closes at 8:00 Pm or later as they know their customer works also. Don't know why this specific Public Storage closes so early. I should have checked that before renting it. Now to late

I rented an outside unit and have had a good experience thus far. Staff is friendly, despite being a large property the place is well kept and clean (Thanks to Ethan who I often see walking around making sure all is in top shape).
I would like if the reviews had half star increments because I would give a 4 1/2 stars. Reason I went 4 is no fault of facility or staff, just the hours. If one works 9 to 5pm, you have to rush to get there before close. 7-8pm would be much better.

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY.
Worst security of any storage facility I have ever used. Units keep getting broken into, mine twice. There are no cameras inside, they have no clue what's going on inside their own building. The alarm sensors on the units are fake and do nothing.
Update 2-29-2024
My unit got broken into a 3rd time today or yesterday. There are still no cameras inside the building halls. I reported this problem to the management a year ago and nothing was done. I'm done with Public Storage and their negligent incompetent management. I'm moving my stuff to the place around the corner. Do not use this storage facility. It is unsecure and your stuff will be stolen like mine and Public Storage will do nothing to secure their premises correctly.

It isn't easy moving from one state to another. I have my belongings in storage units in different places. My working and living situation is unique. Public storage has been key in making this stressful situation, less stressful. I know ,from the walk to my unit , I spied the condition, I found it ,clean , kept and secure. Yeah I could have found a cheaper place , but not the assurance. The ladies that run the office are helpful and professional.

This experience was wonderful, and way better than my previous experience at my first storage unit. I did everything online and realized once I got there that I needed a different unit. Angie was was super helpful and accommodating! She found me something right away that fit my needs better! The other worker that was there (Justice) was really friendly also and when another person came in with a problem he remembered their name and cheerfully got right up to help.
Everything I had ended up fitting the new unit perfectly and it was all very easy!

We’ve had a unit
here a year now, and beyond the safe and secure facilities the real star of this location is the staff! Angie recently helped us move units and went above and beyond to make it smooth and easy. She patiently answered my thousands of questions and really made us feel taken care of.
It is worth noting that because this company does month to month contracts that the rates will almost certainly increase from time to time, possibly a hefty increase once or twice a year. So be aware of that aspect of month to month agreements.
Michael and Ethan helped me they were getting ready to close and still made time for me to come in and pay for a storage super friendly and very very professional would recommend this location to friends and family!!

I recently found myself in a perplexing situation when the roll-up door to my storage room refused to open, leaving me in a state of frustration and anxiety. I thought I might never regain access to the items stored inside. However, my despair was short-lived, thanks to the incredible assistance of Juan and Edgar. In my moment of despair, I decided to reach out for help and made a call to seek advice. I was pleasantly surprised when Juan offered to take a look at the door to assess the situation. His willingness to help was a beacon of hope in a moment of despair. He took a look at it and went back to solicit the assistance of Edgar.
As I stood there, witnessing the door finally opening after several attempts, I couldn't help but feel immense gratitude towards Juan & Edgar for there support in my time of need. There teamwork demonstrated a well-coordinated effort to resolve the issue. I am genuinely grateful for their support, and this is what customer service at it's highest level looks like. Even if they weren't able to get it the door open, the fact that they tried is much more than I could have asked for. Thank you both again!!

Here at 4140 Cherry avenue property manager name is Angie she always do a 💯 percent work with a smile all the time something go wrong with the restrooms they take care of it tissue spell smells if there's garbage somebody left behind properties manager will take care of it .. Ok facility. They raised my rent by $50 without any notice. When I asked about it I was told they raise rent on tenants renting longer than 6 months. I'll choose another place for storage next time I need it.

Angie was amazing when first starting out our unit here. We had a slightly complicated situation which she handled perfectly! Her customer service is superb! (And when you've been dedicated to a company for as long as she has been, that still says ALOT!) We felt so welcome, and the facility is always so clean, quiet, and felt very safe. After we closed our account, I noticed we still got billed after (my fault for closing it the day before the bill is due), but Justice came to the rescue and when I called. He was already on the case! He knew right away who I was and was so reassuring that it was a computer error and was being handled expressly! I am so sad I can't take them with me to work at the Public Storage close to where I moved to. These guys rock!!

My mother and I just had a really great experience with Angie and Natalie at this location. They were very pleasant and helpful. They explained all the details of costs and options of storage units. They were also very efficient when it came to finishing all paperwork. We were in and out of there in a timely manner.
The app was really convenient for easy access and Im glad we went with this storage company.

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and secure. I have a storage unit here and feel confident leaving my belongings in their care. Additionally, the pricing is very reasonable compared to other storage options in the area. The only improvement I could suggest is for Public Storage to add Apple Pay to their payment system, as this would be a more convenient option for me.

I met Justice one of the agents in this facility and he was very helpful, polite and sweet. I ended taking the space, because Justice gave us different options, and he was very patience.

They had the size of storage we needed at a great price (compared to another PS we toured earlier that day), however we needed longer accessible hours for a long distance move. Instead of taking my elderly mothers money knowing the access hours may be a challenge, they recommended another PS, called that store rep, and help acquire a unit at a different location for an even more affordable price! Talk about customer service! Thank you Justice & Michael for being kind and going out your way to help my mom and me.

Great attention to the client. Angie was knowledgeable, guided me through each step of the rental. She gave a tour of the space before everything was settled which I appreciated. She even called ahead when I had placed the space on hold to introduce herself and confirm the details of the rental. She was very friendly and professional.

TLDR:
Prior to arriving, we were dragging our feet with the monotonous idea of finding a storage unit. We have a number of storage facilities around the area but most of them are worn down or in an undesirable location.

Drove by here a few times and noticed that it is clean and easily accessible. Needless to say, we got in, found the unit we needed and got out satisfied within 10 minutes.
Shoutout to Tina for making the process a piece of cake whilst might I add, trading two new employees.

We first went to extra space storage and after hearing about all there ridiculous fees and such we were mortified. We decided to take our chances at public storage and WOW what a difference. Met Tina and she was absolutely amazing! So kind and helpful. She answered every question and concern truthfully. Her customer service was phenomenal. Prices are excellent nothin horrific like extra space. I highly recommend this place. Everything is secured and coded. Ask for Tina she was just a joy to work with. Extra space sucks don't even waste your time.
This place is the BEST. I have had numerous storage places in numerous locations. Large and small. I have NEVER, EVER dealt with a storage place as great as this one!
Tina and the staff there are so professional, efficient, friendly and accommodating. The property and storage spaces are clean. The restrooms are clean. I have moved to Northern California but still have my space in Long Beach. I have been there a few times since my move and it's just as great as it was in the beginning when I first rented it. I have had spaces at other PS locations and none are as good as this one!

Decent facility, but raising my monthly rent $80 this past month is completely ridiculous. I've been renting barely over a year and it's gone up about $100 since I signed up. And as you can tell by their response below, they couldn't care less. Beware!

I asked to get my birth certificate and luggage even tho i owe she rudely denied the request, so i was trying to hand her the keys knowing i wont be able to get my things out.
She laughed and said that no matter what theyre going to access the storage unit. I said ok, i understood and was walking out without giving problems and she rudely yelled something about risking her job and was harrasding me...i didnt ask for her to do anything. I asked if i could do something, my request was denied i understood and was leaving quietly...why did tina have an attitude? Did she not get ranch for her burger and fries on her lunch break? If so, that had nothing to do with me!

My wife and I were forced to get a storage unit for our white home while we looked for a new place to live. As stressful as that was Tina at Public Storage made things so much better and helped more than her job required. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a until that was big enough for our entire home. She went so far as to help us change units to a bigger one the day of the move because the unit we rented was too small. I could not recommend a better place for function and for customer service. If you ever go in there make sure to ask for Tina and she will make sure you are taken care of.
I've been a Public Storage customer at this location for years. I recently had a billing issue and had to contact the corporate office. The corporate office was very helpful, providing a satisfactory resolution the same day. Tina, the manager at this location, was kind enough to call me personally and inform me of the resolution.
