This place is disgusted with rats in rat dookie on my stuff they very rude Mike was so cool to me in all I will be moving my stuff out of here they know better than this renting storage to people but it’s really infested !no damn help here got the nerves to talk shit to me with this infested place high ass rent need to shut this shit down immediately!
Today I went to pay my rent for December and was assisted by Keylie who so helpful and she got my rent LOWERED because of me being a loyal customer ! She is SO AWESOME !

I just went in to visit my storage unit as usual ( which I do on a weekly basis ) I was speaking with Darlene ( mostly) & Carmen & 😳 realized that I had not been fair to them .
Darlene & Carmen I believe i have been in contact with since I first signed up for my unit ( it's been a VERY long time ) & to be fair they ALSO have been AWESOME ! & cheerful & feel that Public Storage is lucky to also have them as employees . 😄

Good location, very clean, lots of availability = tons of discounts. Carmen assisted me, helped me find my locker, and was very helpful throughout the process. It’s a bit of maze but what storage facility isn’t? Another great thing about this location is that it’s next to king taco because you’re going to want to treat yourself after moving all day.

Not my favorite location, but the office staff is phenomenal! The two women who take care of this place, Carmen and Darlene, are fantastic. They are so personable, helpful and friendly, that it makes driving here worthwhile. They keep a close eye on all customers and activity, make sure all needs and met, and all questions answered. We enjoy the trips in to see them and do recommend giving them a try.
So I went to Public Storage at Long Beach Blvd and a co- worker named Darlene Moreno help me so much she had good smile, friendly, and looking represendable. She gave me information about what type of storage I needed and what where options and she help me understand all the rules and deposits and what kind of storage she recommended for myself she gave me a tour around the place and she was talkative, outgoing, and helpful. There’s rats in my storage unit and now I have to find away to get rid of things. The insurance only covers $250 and it’ll cost almost triple just to get everything removed from there. Luckily there was some things they didn’t get to, but it sucks that I thought my stuff would be safe and I’m paying all this money.
I truly wish I didn't even have to write this review, but storing my items in between moves here caused me to lose out on hundreds, perhaps thousands of dollars due to damages caused by rats. Not mice. Rats. I know they were rats because I saw a dead rat with my own eyes. I will spare you the image upload. When I had my movers unlock my unit after about 2 months they immediately smelled the rat urine and noticed rodant droppings, but that was not it. Upon further inspection we noticed there were tons of items that were also chewed up. When I went up to the front desk, they were basically like "yeah..." and encouraged me to reach out to the insurance, which I had on the unit directly from public storage. What a mistake, they basically don't cover off on anything. The notice said $250 worth of damages, the mattress I had to toss due to rodent urine exposure alone was over $700. I had no food in the unit, just furniture and clothing. Nothing that would attract the small creatures. If you are thinking about storing here, I hope you read this comment and save yourself of the same misfortune.

I have a very busy day ahead of me as I am moving and packing and I hoped that my trip to get boxes would be a quick and easy experience. I walked into this Public Storage and immediately noticed how much cleaner it was than my last visit. I was greeted by friendly employees Frank and Carmen, and they helped me in a quick and efficient manner, even helping me to load my boxes into my trunk. Definitely a step up from previous experiences with this type of task.
This place destroyed ALL of my expensive belongings, Now there has been these black bugs and this weird round bug that I have crawling everywhere in my apartment.
My nice previous apt that I was racistly put out of( after living there for 16 years) we had NO bugs of any sort, and NO PETS were ALLOWED 👏💯🧐😁

Disgusting. After storing our things here for a year we opened up the unit to find that rats/mice seem to live in there full time. The entire property is filthy and smells like urine. Nearly every box and container was chewed into, furniture ruined and mice/rat poop on every square inch of the place. This place is a massive waste of money and if you value your belongings you will go somewhere else.

The Public Storage on 1917 Long Beach Blvd. is awesome & highly recommended it. The staff there are great and kind especially Vivian! As most public storages treat you as if you’re just $$ Vivian actually treats you as a human being! She greats you with the biggest smile and answers all your questions patiently to make sure all your storage needs are met. All the staff there are great but Vivian is definitely a reason to store her items here. I wouldn’t look any where else

Out of their control and I mean out of control rat problem. I open my unit to rat poop all over purses, clothes eaten through. The girls tell the owner who does nothing. Take a day and tent it people will get over it when they find out why one day they couldn't get in their units

My spouse and business partner need to rent a storage unit to move our business from the Valley to LBC. So, we rented a storage unit at this facility yesterday and paid for it at the same time. When we tried to check into the unit today, Darlene (one of the property managers) refused to let us check into the unit. She refused this even after we showed her the reservation number and unit number. She said that because one person's name was on the credit card who paid for it and another person's name was on the reservation.
After I got out of work today and called to ask what happened, they were extremely rude on the phone and said we never tried to check into the unit today. When we told them there is video recording evidence of us being there, they then changed their story and blamed the situation on us. They told us we must have messed up and not told them the correct check in information (it's just our names which clearly they could look up). They said there is no audio recording so it's going to be their word versus ours. They then started yelling at us on the phone when we asked for a refund of today since we weren't allowed to move in today. We informed them that we are going to refuse the credit card charge and will not be renting there. They continued yelling at us, so we hung up the phone.

Sales associate CARMEN she is super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed to accommodate my storage needs I wish every storage experience was like this one unfortunately this was the first best storage experience I ever had. I believe all employees should have this type of etiquette.

Beware storing your valuables in the basement area. There has been a lot of break ins. I am a victim to these burglaries & not much is being done to prevent them. Maintenance on some of the storages should be made especially if there's any kind of opening into the storages. They climbed into ours wire should be placed on all storage units to prevent these burglaries.

The worst. Been try charge me since I moved in. Moving out immediately. Dirty as hell. Just nasty.
Unfortunately I spoke to fast about carman working at public storage. She was informed that I didn’t no longer want insurance coverage for my personal belongings as to see that this place randomly goes up in price on your storage unit, and her and I was talking about how they had been having break ins, and these thieves were breaking the guests locks and stealing their personal belongings. Why a week later, mind you my storage unit was on the second floor in the middle of the property, and when I went to go retrieve my belongings only to discover my lock had been broken and my belongings had been stolen and went through! The lady that I reported this to was also rude, her response was it looks like it’s all trash anyway! Such disrespect! I believe this is an inside job by the employee. They are the only ones who have information on which units have insurance and the other ones that don’t. And carman has been the only person that has helped me while storing my belongings there, it’s said that she would be apart of this type of behavior! I will never recommend anyone to go there!
There are homeless people loitering and even entering the property and there are no security cameras. Overpriced with no security. I left my car in storage and there were cockroaches in the garage.
No one working to help customer
Units are accessible from the top. Someone climbed into my unit from the top and stole several items. When asked if they had any camera footage they said there were no cameras where my unit is... And I pay nearly $200 a month. I'm OUT
Carmen was amazingly helpful. Very informative with our rental agreements and move in and everything. 10/10 would recommend!
we had this place for many years, every year the fees went up and they do not keep the place clean. I told the front desk that in our unit someone threw a bottle on top with something that looked like urine. Many months we keep telling the front and they never did anything. Fees keep going up, the place was getting more dirty, nothing was done with our request so we moved. We had to trashed so many things due to dead mouses, urine, and feces. Save your money and go some where else.
Hate the hours. Opens at 9:30 and closes at 6pm. The hottest times of the day and have a storage on top floor, no air conditioning so I can't go to storage until winter when it's not as hot.
Other than that Staff has been nice and facility is clean. They could offer a trash can to throw small stuff out.

The staff are never in the office and there are a lot of bug roaches in the units they be walking in the hallways .
Public storage is a rip off with how they can change there prices at any given date or time I hate it it's like they want you to lose your things I was very unhappy with public storage . And for you veteran's out there they don't tell you though, I was told when I cleaned out my storage the only they can't do to a veteran is they cannot put your things up for auction I was told that by a public storage employee.

There’s storage facilities, and then there is Public Storage on Long Beach Boulevard. Best in class. If you have the privilege of meeting Justice and Darlene there, consider yourself blessed.
