Changing my previous rating, Public storage is continually working on keeping the grounds clean and safe. There's been a new lock put in place on the entry door to the building where my unit is located. For a long time there wasn't a light near my unit so I couldn't see and it made it difficult to see at night but that's been taken care of. Most importantly the employees I've come in contact with have done what they can to be sure I'm happy and my belongings are safe.

Man Mrs Monica really went over and beyond her job duties.... She had an enormous amount of patience while dealing with us she simply k pt smiling while I'm sure we wore on her but never once did she act angry or mean nor disrespectful. That says a lot I so appreciate her and she came out in the freezing cold and stood for 20+ minutes to further assist us. Biggest thx to public storage and especially MRS MONICA.
Derek, Stormy, and Monica have been such an amazing help to me. I left an emergency situation and needed last minute storage for a short time. They were courteous, timely, and helped me with everything I needed. They even followed up with me afterwards. The facility is clean, extremely safe, and all employees I encountered were professional and helpful. Highly recommend.

Changing my review from 5 to 1 star because apparently malissa was let go. Personally, I think that was a huge mistake on Public Storage part. I will be taking my belongings elsewhere. Hoping malissa finds herself another storage facility in the area so I can just go there. You can already see the effects this change has had on the property as a whole. She actually cares about her customers and their belongings, and the appearance of the property in general. Sadly the same cannot be said for the company, who only cares about the $ !! Public storage has indefinitely lost me as a customer. I hear Safe Store and Extra Space have better rates anyhow!

On 4th of July 2023 I was in a difficult situation and needed a storage unit. I visited a couple other places but they were closed. I finally found this location and met with the property manager Melissa (I believe that was her name). She was awesome, helped me throughout the way and advised on how to take advantage of their current deals. Definitely recommend them specially for the great customer service Melissa has.
Public Storage is the top name in storage facilities. The one on 32nd ave in Lakewood/Tacoma has an amazing manager named Melissa. She has gone above and beyond to help me with everything I need. All of their staff is extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Definitely 10/10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The gal that helped us out today was named Melissa...she's wonderful to work with, giving us quick, courteous, and friendly service and was able to answer any questions we had with thorough knowledge of the facility and helped us out with any problems we had setting up our unit rental...it was a great experience working with her!

I had to come on here and praise how amazing Melissa has been for me while my belongings are in this facility. I moved my stuff in at the end of April and Melissa and her team have been nothing but helpful. I have had to extend it change my unit end date multiple times which I thought would be an issue or cause excessive fees but it has not only the opposite. The DM and Melissa have work hand and hand to help my have piece of mind with my stuff being in Washington while Im in the hunt for a new contract for Travel nursing. I can not thank her enough for all the long phone and emails back and forth. I truly appreciate all she has done for me.

This is a great facility with great managers PAT WAS AWESOME and lock attendant they are courteous and will help you pick out a unit that is in the size that you need so you don't overspend they Supply a myriad of boxes and tapes for a very reasonable price they have clean units available for rental

EXTREMELY helpful and polite staff! Can't beat the $1 1st month special and haven't seen any riff raff at all. Pat and Aleeia are the best! charming funny and make you feel welcome and comfortable for sure. No complaints here. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to store your stuff with no bs or hidden fees/lies this is the place to go for sure. I paid $53 WITH heavy duty lock admin fee and tax for a 5x10. Units are super tall. You won't be disappointed!

Rented a small unit from this location for four years and have no complaints about anything. My stuff stayed dry and undamaged by anything, the grounds have only been improved since renting here and I would rent here again if I needed to. Pat is a wonderful person to work with and has been extremely helpful with any/all questions I had about my unit.
Service from the facility is usually pretty smooth. We had a hiccup where we couldn't get into our building 3 days before our scheduled move out, but the manager let us in (after verifying identity). The manager was Pat and she is one of the best attendants who has ever helped us. She was very timely and kind, understanding, and very helpful in answering all our questions. Pat alone would get 5 Stars!
My unit got broken into and they wouldn't tell me anything. They wouldn't even give me the case number. When I got to my unit they had already "secured" it and the whole inside of the building had been renovated within a few days of my last visit so I couldn't even tell how happened. No one has been helpful.
Their prices suck I'm moving on the 1st of January they raised my rent $40.00 not even a 30 day notice I haven't even been their a year
I understand that closing a few minutes before actual closing time is preferred by a lot of businesses but sometimes it is really frustrating when you show up at 5:40pm when the location is supposed to be open until 6pm. As a consumer I'm held accountable for every fee and cost a business can legally impose on their customer's and some times made up policies that an employee makes up that day. It seems as if the pandemic is a businesses excuse for exceptionally consistent poor customer service and chronically closing early syndrome and not one business is held accountable aside from a customers ability to shop elsewhere which only works in the form of boycott.
We came to this facility during business hours and waited for over an hour and were not helped. It said open and when we called the public storage they said we don't see any reason for the property manager to not be there and to try calling them directly. Called several times and no luck. There were other people waiting as well. Awful experience.
I was not told about some of the charges until I got there and paid so I ended up having to pay like $50 more than I was told in my email confirmation. And after I paid I found out that the storage unit wasn't even clean and ready for me to move in.
