I came and got a storage and when the lady shower it to me I asked for and outside entrance so I could get things in and she told me I could come back the next day and have it switched. That it wasn’t a problem so I came back the next day to switch the Storage over at the appointment time that I set and then I was told that I couldn’t have an outside access one that there wasn’t any available, but I could get a bigger storage that was then going to cost me another $179 to get so I have a storage unit that I can’t fit my furniture in and I could’ve went to another location and paid less money. This was very unhelpful and I am very frustrated and customer service was not OK with me because my problem is not resolved and bare minimum on it and I’m sorry it’ll cost me another $179. I will not refer anyone back to this company again.
Great experience from the contract to moving in. Ciera is very nice and easy to work with during what can be a stressful time choosing a unit and getting set up. Thanks for all the help and for being attentive to make it a smooth transition.

I have been renting a space in a different location but it’s closer for me to come to the current location and make my payments and today I was able to get my rent lowered and I was granted a waiver on a late fee displace rocks. I would recommend this to other people who are looking for a good place to store their stuff.
Ciera is the absolute best! She went above and beyond! It turned out I needed a bigger storage unit than anticipated, I had pre ordered a 10X10 and when I realized that wouldn’t be large enough and I asked for a larger unit. At first there weren’t any available and wasn't sure what my next move was, when by the grace of god a larger unit opened up while I was contemplating canceling my prior unit when, Ciera ran out to flag me down and tell me the good news! She was incredibly helpful, polite and walked me through the whole process, including walking me to the unit to make sure it was clean and to my liking. You definitely have a forever customer in me thanks to her! I appreciate you, Ciera!

I’ve been to quite a few different storage units over the last several years as well as a couple different locations for public storage. This location by far has been the best the property manager Sierra went above and beyond to help me get the storage unit that fit my needs and eventually help me get the second one as my needs grew no matter who is working, whether it’s Sierra or stormy they are always very helpful, respectful and happy to be there. The property is always maintained and kept clean compared to some of the other locations. I highly recommend anyone looking for Storage that wants to go through Public Storage to come to this one first before you go to Phillips Road, thank you, Sierra, and stormy for all, the support that you give and go above and beyond for your customers

I have had a unit here for about 7 years now. And have seen a few different property managers come and go. As well as ppl in the office handling the location for the day.
I am extremely satisfied with Ciera who is the newer property manager. She has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions when I have had questions. As well as just asking info and taking my payments. Always very flexible when it comes to setting up a appointment time for me to come in the office as well. Her customer service style makes you feel very welcome and at ease with anything to do with your unit/account. And if she isn't in the office and you leave a voice mail. She promptly calls you back in a timely manner.
I highly recommend this location for a few reasons. The units themselves are well looked after and the top notch management/service makes this location a no brainier. I don't give 5 stars very often but this one is well deserved in many ways.

This is Seira hands down is the best person I have met in this company PERIOD. I met Seira this week and I shared with her my history with public storage since September of 2018. I expressed to her how/why their aren't any options to help those whom are really facing hardships only being able to get extension of account if you have never been late and meet requirements ect.. So I spoke with store manager Robert in Phoenix AZ where my storage is located and he definitely made me feel like as a customer for 8 yrs he didn't care to her what I was trying to literally beg for. I say all this because Seira from the moment I walked in she went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and if I had any questions about my bill. I have never been greeted by a public storage employee like her. She also provided me with a discount and none of the public storages offered after the horrible service. I hand my letter written for corporate and for BBB all it takes is one person and Seira definitely cares about customers and her customer service maybe need to be reinterate in some other stores nation wide. Seira really is one of a kind and a real asset to you Public storage company.
Ciera was first class in terms of her friendly greeting, her empathy and sincerity. In my humble opinion, she should be a mentor for other Public Storage managers. I can not say enough good things about her. Mega kudos!

terrible. Read BBB reviews. Everything they say is true. They raise your rent for no reason every couple months. Started at about 90 ended at about 150. You pay for mandatory insurance, but if someone breaks in, they will not cover ANYTHING and won't give camera footage. You can file a police report but nothing will come from it. Locations are known for employees stealing. Customer service number is a joke. Don't be drawn by the promo offers. In the end you'll pay way more there than anyone else and possibly robbed with no chance of being reimbursed. Don't believe me, read the endless reviews on the BBB

Was going to empty our unit out so we called ahead of time to make sure we would be able to get to the unit. It is not in a great spot for a moving truck. They said it would be. Fast forward a week and I show up and of course the unit is not accessible because they are painting 3 parking spots. Management will not help us out at all with paying for the extra time and mileage for the moving truck or the 2 hours of my time. Horrible customer service
Worst storage, they don't answer their phone. They aren't helpful. And we couldn't get to our storage unit when it was time too!!!! Don't store with this place. Awful customer service!!

This place is a joke multiple times I’ve paid my bill early or on time and they keep it until they can charge a late fee then return my payment they also refuse to remove the charge….. scam operation expect to pay a late fee every month if you store here

No one is ever on site, the gate code doesn't work, no one ever answers the phone. But when someone does call you back they are helpful & friendly. Never going to use them again, just saying.

Hard to get ahold of anyone here. Only reason I'm not leaving one star is because miraculously, my stuff was still there after six months. Given Lakewoods reputation with crime, I am actually impressed.
The units are insanely overpriced. I paid $256 for a 10x10 and $156 for a 5x10, with rent increasing next month.
I now have two 10x15 units in a better facility for $110 each a month.
If you have an issue and your property managers are unavailable good luck.
We emptied our units on the 16th and got a whopping $7.70 back. With how much we paid, you would figure we would be getting something prorated. I guess not.
Overall I do not recommend this service.
