I feel an obligation to convey how horrible this business is. The hwy 99 location has a serious rat infestation. The manager is nice, and will openly admit a infestation, but corporate will do nothing.
If you are on a promotion, after 6 months it will expire, but no one will let you know that.
If you are late on your bill, even if you call and make arrangements to pay, you will get collection calls daily. When you call back you will be hung up on. In the app that the property managers direct tenants to, is full of ads. Want to open the gate to get to your unit? Watch some ads first.
Unbelievable.
Knowing what I do now, I would have never been involved here.
All my stuff is ruined from rats and the company is difficult and absurd.

Teri at Public Storage was great! Last minute I checked online and found a great rate for the exact size I needed even tho my fiancé already had a place in mind, the cost of this one changed our mind instantly. Showed up and Teri had us taken care of in just a couple minutes. She was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly yet quick so we could hurry and get started unpacking. She also let us know this place has someone living on site which makes us feel that much more safe and secure using this storage unit over all the others around. Would absolutely recommend to friends and this will be the place I call if I end up needing one in the future! Thanks!
Have this storage unit for work. Our unit is all equipment, no food or house items. When I went to grab stuff the last couple of weeks and there are rats inside our storage unit. We have reported it to the staff, I have never had this experience with a storage unit before.
Teri, the storage center manager is the absolute best!!! She was so helpful with my move in & made sure everything was ready for me. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a center to store their things because it is the best in town!

Absolutely horrendous place. The indoor climate controlled units are infested with rats and mold. The folks there were aware of the pest issue and said nothing about it. After paying them hundreds of dollars every month I had to throw out furniture, clothing, books, and records due to their negligence of the property.
Mice and rats severe damage!! I just picked up my furniture and belongings after storing them for 12 months. It was disgusting and they ruined several pieces of furniture and valuables. The items not ruined required hours of cleaning and sanitizing. Even if you buy the insurance policy it doesn’t cover vermin, you need to upgrade to the highest protection. RENTER BEWARE!!

She walked us through each of the steps to rent our unit and was very friendly and professional through the entire process. This is one year later! I now have four units at the Hazel Dell property. The rent has gone up several times. I spoke with Terry the manager and she fixed it. Terry is always so kind and so generous with her time. It was 89° in Vancouver yesterday. I had a lot to do in my car and my storage unit. Terry came down and brought me a broom in the dustpan because I had broken a bottle. She also brought me two bottles of ice cold water which probably saved my life. Literally!! I was so dehydrated, plus I have some serious health issues. She did all the walking for me since I am also disabled. She then called me later in the evening to make sure I was okay!! Who does that??? In this day and age of totally rude, uncaring people, I'm just amazed!!! I have four units there and I'm glad someone like Terri is the one running the show! Thank you, Terri, for all your hard work and caring attitude and attention!!!!
I don't normally leave reviews, however, I stopped by the public storage office to get some boxes, and get a quote on a storage unit, and met Theresa there and she is the nicest person and very knowledgeable. she answered all my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend this place to everybody!
So where is the person that’s supposed to check us in? No one was on site so I rented a unit online, paid for said unit, and was instructed to go to the office between 9:30am-6pm the following day to get gate access from office staff. There is no one in the office for two days and the phone number directs you to an automated line providing no solutions. Knocked on the door behind the building that leads to presumably the host’s residence and still no answer. There are now 3 people waiting outside the empty local office waiting for this absent employee. It’s worth looking elsewhere for a place that cares more.

Rat infested. We were there for 4 months and had what would be considered the best unit in the facility closest to the office, temperature controlled. Just started renting in November and had to leave in February. Insulation above unit is exposed and is being used as a nesting site for rats. Rat urine, feces, and blood on my grandmother’s antique furniture that can never be replaced. Dead rats everywhere as you can see from the photos. Leather, suede and Navy pea coats were used as nests. Had to have professionally cleaned. Absolutely shocked. I can’t imagine what our stuff would have looked like had we not visited our unit every couple of weeks. Ended up renting down the road. I’ll don’t mind paying a little more to make sure my stuff doesn’t get damaged.

Beware. Not sure if my review will be shown or got deleted or not. But this is from my experience. I got 5'x15' Storage which at first only $89 so it was a good deal. Then few months later they upped the price to $125. And a few months later they upped again to $145 (remember that is less than a year in total and they up the price twice). So for many people once they settle in and it's kinda a hustle to move out. So they upped the price since they know you're not gonna move out easily. You will get a great price at first and they will rip you off once time goes by. It's not promotional price or anything but they stated in the fine print that the price is "subject to change" so they can raise the price to whatever and whenever they want to. They lowered the price so people move in and they up it later. Bloody face company. Do fall for them.

Its been 2 years since my last post and I again can't say enough about Terri and this public storage. I've had this location for about 3-4 , years now. And it's been great! I've had multiple storage units through the years across the country. But the staff here make it such a good experience, I haven't even considered moving locations and I live in Oklahoma now, lol. But, Terri is truly what makes this place the best. I love when she calls to check in on me and my account. She's such a joy to speak with.

Worst experience I have ever had, this Lady thinks she is the only person who matters, she doesn't have customer service skills and there supposed to be open from 9:30am to 6pm, so why is she telling me to come back at 2pm? People have jobs other than you and to get evicted because your battery dies in the facility is bad bad business practices I will be getting my money back and will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this place!

Great place to store your stuff. Sucks that we can't access it at any hour you can only get into it during certain hours. Which is understandable because it only takes one person to mess it up for everybody. And if I find that guy LOL.

Turns out my apartment which should have been done just before the end of the month had some kind of inspection issue so I was pushed out a week so that means now I get a play a whole full month's worth of storage I am not a happy happy person at all with that normally I'm very happy

Price goes up twice a year while almost no maintenance is done on the property. Missing fire extinguishers, holes in the perimeter fence that aren't repaired for weeks, poor camera coverage of rental units (can't identify anyone with the poor image quality of one camera per isle).
Got a message in the mail that my rental space charges were going up. Went to the Hazel Dell public storage and talked to Teri. She helped me find a smaller unit that was very close and offered to help me move my belongings. Thank you Teri you are awesome!
