Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1401 NE 134th St, Vancouver, WA

My mom had 2 units here since 2005-ish. I have the keys to her units because she left them with me when she passed away. Public Storage called me about an unknown issue the week after she passed and as soon as I mentioned she passed they would no longer speak to me because my name's not on the account. Despite that I had been caring for my mom and paying the bill and talking to them for the years that was she was ill. They told me they'd be immediately changing the locks because of estate rules. Ok, fine I guess, if you won't let me pay the bill and lock me and my family out, I guess we'll leave it. I had more important stuff to worry about. But now 6 months on and they're calling her phone almost EVERY DAY despite me telling them MULTIPLE times that she has passed and I won't be paying the bill since they "can't discuss any matters on the account at all" including me paying the bill or taking over the account, since my mom was the only one the account. I guess it will go to auction - fine, whatever - but please stop calling and making me tell you OVER AND OVER that my mom is dead, which is always followed with "then I can't tell you anything about the account." Twice they even called me on my personal number... when I'm not on the account? It's honestly like they're harassing me at this point. I get they may have rules about when someone passes away but if you know she is gone and you won't let me pay, take over, or close the account, stop calling us and move on. They were great to my family up until my mom's passing but please either let me pay the bill and get my family's stuff or leave us alone.

This place has been nothing but the worst experience from the beginning. No employees ever seem to be on site to help and they’ll hike up the rent as much as they can the second they get the opportunity to (our starting month before was 92- its since been raised to 165 for a 10x10 unit in less than six months.) I’d give this place negative stars if possible- but it wouldn’t matter since they seem to buy all of their reviews anyway. If you’re smart you won’t be giving them your business

Teri was great! She explained our different options, listened to what we were needing to store and helped us get a unit quick and easy. She was extremely pleasant and friendly. Would recommend coming down and visiting with Teri next time you need a storage unit.

What a hassle this place has been. Major communication issues between employees. Constant phone calls. Call back and nobody ever answers. Hung up on when I do get somebody on the line. Telephone tag. Left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. The excuse I was given is "this is a training center". It was cheaper than any other storage facility nearby, you get what you pay for! Update: It appears they are buying 5 star reviews as well. Check out the number of reviewers with single digit reviews. Now that's integrity.

I’m renting two units here and my experience so far has been great. I was able to look up rates online, reserve the units, complete the paperwork and more. When I wanted to do a tour and needed help sorting out paperwork, Heather in the office was on top of everything and made it really easy to finish up.

Stopped in the office to purchase a lock. It was convenient and the price was fair. Heather the manager was helpful and kind. Also this location seems very nice and well kept. Would definitely consider it for storage in the future.

They helped me so so much. I was having a horrible day . I had presented a storage at another place only to show up and it be horrible so I drove to the 134 public storage and they were so pleasant worked with me to solve ALL of my issues with the App , registration, and definitely a clean welcoming storage. 10*5 indoor

Place is Great! Super clean including the bathroom which is rare for a public place! Love working on stuff in the storage after a long day just super confused about how late you can stay here seen people stay past 9. Anyone know the absolute latest you can stay here?
