Ok storage space for the money
Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was lied to twice about the amount, canceled the second they took the money out. It's been 2 weeks and can't get my money back and 3 phone calls later I got a 22 dollar payment back and a 10 dollar out if 151. Such a joke.

I recently Rented a storage unit at public storage on North Mildred in Tacoma. I have found this facility to be very clean, the employees to be very considerate and helpful, and I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Perfect location for a garage for work.
This was the most embarrassing and violating experience I've ever had. apparently they change the terms of service on the fly, make up policies and kick you out of you violate those policies. Then tell you a time you're allowed to come and then block you again. I run a business for 2 years nowdont store anything you intend to sell unless you move it back to your house because even if you take your property off theirs it's still a violation of service. My car breaks down and the guy deadlines me 4 hours to get out of there going to tow my car, so I go get assistance and the guy locks me out and the car in. I get a voice will saying my code will work during business hours, it doesn't and they say come back tomorrow. Meanwhile I get a two day notice to get my stuff and one of the days she doesn't even let me in. This has been the worst experience of my life and I'm getting a lawyer
I've been with this Public Storage for several years now, and I'm very happy with them. I have a 12×30 (large) and a parking space. The staff are very professional and easy to work with. Especially Sierra, she is wonderful. 5 stars .
This location has no one directly onsite, just a kiosk however there is another location a couple minutes away with a team. Ray was extremely helpful with initiation, questions and end of service misunderstandings. Moving is stressful enough and Ray was completely supportive.
This place is terrible, my vehicle was broken into multiple times, over the course of 3 months. They absolutely, do not care about your property, only your rent check. No fence sensors, security sirens, or lights at all. In addition, there is no security guards, and the fence has holes in at, and vegetation growing out of control, that provides cover for thieves. Public Storage is well aware of these issues, and will lie to you, to get you to rent from them! I’d seriously go elsewhere, unless you like being ripped off.
Update: I moved out and found other local places that were cheaper, and have nighttime security.
Rental process was speedy and unit was easy to get into, load in my stuff, lock it up, and go.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The door to my unit has been jammed for weeks. Have called every number possible every day and even the fire dept code inspector as this is an obvious fire hazard. No returned calls or even answers from anyone. Don’t use this place for storage.
Edit: few months later- someone broke into our unit (go figure) and of course no one answers the phone to get us to be able to see what was taken in our unit. We will be taking our belongings from this unit as soon as someone actually calls us back. Absolutely unacceptable.
Alisa and Liza absolutely made my week today by helping me and my friend out with our questions. I honestly wasn't looking forward to the errand, however, I was pretty blown away at the ladies' genuine care and attentive listening skills. I wish I could have these women help me with everything instead of just storage.
Dee is the best. She always is so helpful. This woman has repeatedly gone above and beyond the call of duty for me. I am on Social Security Disability and Dee has always been helpful and very understanding. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. Very secure, clean and professional. I would refer this company highly especially in light of the employees at this location.

We just did a drop off a vehicle to leave for about a month we'll let you know when we pick it up one thing the storage numbers on the pavement is almost wore off.
Constantly increasing price. Mice infested. I AM MOVING OUT.

2nd time in a month my unit has been broken into. No security cameras on the inside units. Do not recommend this particular location at all. Never anyone available to talk to or help

Excellent experience! unfortunately entry gate stop working and Andera went into action with no hesitation to fix problem. Few minutes later problem solved.
Twice they've changed the door code and I wasn't informed, so I wasn't able to get in. No one was in the office and there was no note saying when or if they'd return. Beware!
Update: so far I haven't had any more issues. They did call and update me on the door issues, which I appreciated.

Infested with mice. As soon as we can our stuff will be moved to a better storage facility that cares about our property. Get ready to have your rates raised also. Customer service is not there top priority. They just want your money every month.
I ordered a spot online for our work truck this past Friday. It ended up being a little to small. I went in and spoke with the folks at 9th street location, and they accommodated my needs!
