The staff are helpful and nice, they make it work when I have a request. I wish they have more carts though because if you're there mid-morning or late morning or at lunch time you're gonna have to wait for a cart to be available (if you need a cart). Other than that I really commend the staff.
Wow, I just had the best experience at PublicStorage, and I have to rave about Coquita! She made my check-out process a breeze. You know how these things can be stressful, right? Not with Coquita around!
She's like a superhero of storage units. Coquita knew everything about the process and explained it all so clearly. I had a bunch of questions, and she answered every single one with a smile. No rush, no fuss - just genuine care and attention.
At one point, we hit a tiny snag, but Coquita solved it in a flash. It was impressive to watch her in action. The whole time, she was so friendly and professional. I left feeling like I'd just chatted with a friend, not completed a business transaction.
Oh, and I can't forget Paul! While I didn't interact with him as much, he was super helpful too. He and Coquita make a great team.

We've rented a unit at this location for about a year now. We've had nothing but good encounters with all, and any of the staff members. Which is how you'd like it to be, however, we know the reality, of today's reality. Its hard to find this quality of service. We must give a special Thank You, and Nod to Coquita. Severe wonderful and great help I wish the automated system wouldn't complain when you're leaving less than a minute after 6:00 I was behind two other people that were taking their time and by the time I got out of here it was right on like seconds after 6:00 but the staff is great and extremely helpful!
Came to do an update on these guys! For the second time, i have needed their services. And last min, i needed to upgrade. Well, they went above and beyond these last couple of interactions I've had and made the rental, and transition super smooth! I'm not sure about the other locations, but hands down, this one can have my business when I need to put my life away! The price increases are beyond justification. We moved in to our 10 X 15 unit for $161/mo. The latest price increase is $456/mo. This is a 40% annual increase, significantly over the rate of inflation. On-site staffing are doing their best but the facilities suffers from a lack of management and investment. I'm sure the ownership are enjoying their second home and/or their boat at the expense of the customers and the onsite staff.
We moved out this week. Not recommended.
Coquita and Robert. Great customer service. I so appreciate these two agents. They was patient with me and really helped me out with this time of losing our matriarch of our family. My mom they listened and that is not a gift we see so often in Customer Service. I know a lot of people and if they ever say they need great people on their team. I’m not gonna lie. I will recruit them immediately.

So far, I have loved my experience at this location. It is clean and I appreciate the security of using the app. It does not allow you to access any other floor other than your own with your code. All the staff I have encountered here are very helpful and sweet.
The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the gate sometimes glitches and sometimes the automatic lights do not come on as quick as I would like so I think a masked murderer or ghost is waiting for me.

I started a lease on a 10x15 space in April for 315 a month (includes non optional insurance they peddle). Don't be fooled into thinking the contract you sign means that's what you will pay. Just 4 months later they are increasing our price to over 400, without giving any justification. They are predatory, waiting until all your possessions are settled in before they start scamming you.

The place is really clean and organized. It's very proffesional. I feel my stuff is safe there. The staff helped me many times in one day then remembered me the next day and continued to help me. I used the internet special discount and moved almost all of my possessions with proffesional movers which cost me more than I've spent in my entire life (due to disability since high school). They were paitence, polite, and non-violent.

This was a great storage space; very close to downtown Seattle and the Amtrak station. My stuff was safe, and the staff was great! Ryan and Anthony were both so kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to help me out:)

I have to say that if you want the best experience in finding what you need when it comes to dealing with self storage, go see Coquita at the public storage Dearborn location in Seattle! I have had many storage spaces but Coquita has caused me to never trust any other facility! I have referred many people to her location because she goes above and beyond what an employee is supposed to do! If the company as a whole would like to have the best employees she should be the one that puts together the training manual or tutorial on how to be stellar at this job which translates to any job that deals with problem solving and customer service! Her way of taking care of business lends itself to the majority of businesses that need revamping from corporate,management, startups and everything in between!!! I have seen businesses succeed and fail . If her techniques, hard work, attention to detail and overall quality of the work were implemented it would change any businesses bottom line ( which creates customer loyalty ) 5 stars for Coquita !!! And the people that I recommended to go see her changed their view about public storage Seattle and have been pleased with the results and continue to be customers
Rent there at your own risk. I understand that a public storage is not like the fancy store room at your building, but this place is dirty, disgusting and surrounded by drug addicts and suspicious characters. The smell of marijuana is everywhere. I would not go there at dark. On top of that, they increase the price beyond reasonable, they double my rent in five years. Many other (cleaner) options around. I feel bad for the employees, they where mostly friendly, but I am glad that I have left that place.

Infested with mice and rats we had to throw away almost everything in our storage and the storage insurance only covers about 150.00 of damages. They need to shut down this location

I lost my keys today and Coquita at the front desk was veryyy helpful! Despite an average week time to break the lock she made sure it was taken care of in 2 hours. Extremely kind & wonderful service from her and Henry!
Would for sure recommend for your storage needs
The local staff are helpful and nice, but the national org overcharged us and doesn't allow the local teams to fix/change anything. Then, they refused to make adjustments or refunds and clearly had no incentive to remedy the situation. They just send all the frustrated customers back to the local team, who isn't given access. The promotional prices don't last and it's definitely not worth the hassle.
Be prepared for rates to increase by 50% or more per year. Mine from $60 to $190 in three years without notice. Adding insult to injury their online price for new customers is $84 a month for same size.
They claim to mail notices but we’ve been at our current address for 15 years and for some inexplicable reason, this is the only business that I’m not receiving mail from…so take it with grain of salt but this was my experience.
Also, I’ve been chastise for coming after 5 o’clock even though their hours are until 6.
I’m giving it 2 stars because it is clean and everything works.
But their business model definitely seems to be get you in and jack up your price without notice hoping you won’t move.

The site has gate/code access.. Elevators.. you can rent carts here as well. #safety on the site is impeccable. You need a code inside the elevator.. Nice touch *The whole process was nice. The only bad thing you have homeless people loitering around the gate. Other than that... GREAT JOB
Very intense and informative gatekeeper makes sure all is well in your storage space. The downside is their terrible hours of operation which are highly restrictive. You only have access to your property from 8 am to 6 pm daily.
RATS!!! Do not store your things here. Only used as short term storage for 3 months. No food in unit yet rat droppings everywhere. Management not helpful. A lot of sketchy people trying to break into units

Coquita is literally the best person I've ever received customer service from. She was super cool and understanding and soooo helpful. The process was very simple and not too bad at all. Not a huge fan of the requiring of insurance but it is what it is.
Used this facility for short term storage and it was as painless a process as possible. Coquita helped us out and found us the best deal on a unit and made sure we had ample space for our stuff. Very kind, informed, and accommodating staff.

Henry has been delightful. Just a great attitude every day I see him. Honestly his attitude kinda makes me worry less about my items being stored. He really makes my day in the morning.
Mice infestation led to me going thru all of my boxes and throwing away what couldn’t be saved. Very unfortunate. The staff is wonderful but I feel that I should’ve been notified of the mice issue before I rented my unit a couple of months ago.
Pros: convenient, lots of in-building parking, good access, pretty secure despite the location, mobile app.
Cons: rents go up frequently, recently-discovered rodent infestation in my stuff which means I have to go though everything (mostly books and art) — not something I would expect in a $400+/mo unit.
After I go through and assess the damage, I may not stay with Public Storage, depending on the loss. If I do, I’ll be moving to an above-the-street unit.

Public Storage is a wise choice. They are convenient, professional, secure and thorough. The facility is clean and pest free. They also gave me a rather reasonable price! Their online reservation process made everything "easy-peasy". Choose Public Storage for your storage needs and you will be glad you did.
The service at this place is really, REALLY great - and unexpected. The staff is so service oriented it’s like a 5-star hotel. . The facility is clean and loading area is great. They are super busy yet make the time to help EVERYONE with a smile and tons of energy. I would give 10 stars if I could.

MAJOR RODENT INFESTATION here. I would give 0 stars if possible. DO NOT use this as a place to store your things. All your stuff will get ruined. We rented a small storage unit and just recently rented and moved all our belongings into an additional larger unit after moving. We were never notified of the rodent issue, otherwise would not have paid a lot of money to move our things into a large unit. There is no responsibility taken regarding this absolutely major issue. They should be doing everything they can to clean up the place. I can see from many of the reviews here that this is affecting a lot of people and started over 6 months ago. This is completely unacceptable. I write this as I am on a very long wait line to issue a claim. I write this while on a very long wait on the phone to issue a claim to their insurance provider... Please stay away for your own health and sanity.

Coquita, the manager at this location, is an absolute queen! I flew in for a work trip and realized when I got there that I forgot my keys at home (800-ish miles away). It was 30 minutes to closing and the lock smith couldn’t get there until right at close. Without even asking Coquita told me it would be perfectly fine for him to come, she could stay a bit late. Forty minutes after close the lock smith was finally able to get me into my unit and I was able to grab my work things (the whole point of my trip). I could have cried with relief I was so thankful. Coquita was helpful and kind the whole way through and just went above and beyond. That whole experience could have been a disaster and she made it all ok - I appreciate it so much!

BEWARE!!! Should be zero stars! It is rat and mice infested and staff is not being upfront about the issue. When we brought the issue to the front desk they were nice as possible but told us we had to speak to management. Justin who is the one we were redirected to basically told us too bad and there is nothing they can do. The amount of property that is being stored there that is being infested by rodents is insane and they are not taking any blame for it nor are they doing anything to help the people and their property. We had to ask for them to put up some traps and that they barely wanted to do. Never again will we go to this location as management clearly doesn’t care for the people or property that is there. This area is not only not protected from rodents but it is also not being protected from the transients that are roaming freely around. If you have no other option I would highly suggest using heavy duty bins to try and protect your items as well as possible. At this point you’d be better leaving it on the street.

Major mice infestation at this place! Be VERY careful. I had a 10x10 unit which I thought was ridiculously overpriced and then when I went to move out… TONS of mice droppings and they got into most of my boxes, so most of my stuff was ruined. It was awful!!!! I doubt they have it completely under control but do not be fooled if you think this public storage is “clean”

***WARNING RODENT INFESTATION***
I've been renting at this facility since 2017. My unit started out at $65 per month and is now $170 per month. This past weekend my husband and I went to my 3rd floor unit and right away we noticed mouse traps every two feet or so (they had never been there before). Once we got to the row my unit is you could see mouse droppings everywhere and the smell was horrendous and intolerable. I opened my unit to find mouse droppings covering everything and ruining most items. The staff never contacted me to let me know there was a mouse infestation, and from the comments on here it seems to have started at least 6 months ago! They also never warned us when we showed up there this past weekend that we would need gloves and a hazmat suit to enter our storage unit. UNACCEPTABLE

Mice infestation!! The people who work there couldn’t have cared less. Not rude just “not my problem” customer service. Over priced unit and they kept bumping up the cost of my unit. If I had to do it again I’d rather burn my stuff then store anything here ever again.
Beware, they have tripled my monthly rental rate over the past three years and the place has recently had a MAJOR mouse infestation. Staff is very nice and helpful though.
Coquita has nice customer service property is clean everyone works hard here.
Found a dead mouse plus droppings in our locker. Had to throw away some of our stuff. Returned a few weeks later and nothing else has been damaged so I'm hoping they have it under control now. Still disappointing that they will not provide any compensation.
Don't rent here! There is an infestation of mice that WILL get into your belongings and ruin them. Staff on site was aware of the problem and moved me right into the middle of it. Good luck getting the insurance to pay up. Half of my stuff is ruined and now I get to hand them 140$ If could give zero stars I would.
I just discovered that the storage facility is overrun by rodents. My entire storage unit was infested with rodents and covered in rodents’ droppings. They made through my boxes and caused irreparable harm to my possessions.
Management suggested to file insurance claim and offered complimentary boxes.
Maynun helped me today she was super helpful nice and provided me with excellent service.
Coquita was also great.
They keep jacking the prices up. No one is in the office when you stop buy during regular business hours. And now you have to sign out carts to move anything (which means you can’t move anything because no one is at the office when you stop by).
I’m getting my stuff out of this place ASAP. I suggest others do the same or stay away in the first place.
Update: I found rat dropping in my storage unit on top of items I’m storing and the elevator smells of urine. It’s increasingly difficult to see how the $50 price increase in the last few months can be justified.
I’ve been struggling with a move for the past few months, with many roadblocks due to supply chain and lack of employees. The Public Storage on Dearborn in Seattle is quite simply the most efficient facility run and supported by a professional caring team who is fully engaged in all aspects of the success of this location. I owe them a debt of gratitude, as they have gone above and beyond in many instances. I wholeheartedly recommend this business and a very happy and appreciative customer.

This review is for the team member Coquita. She was amazing, friendly and provided wonderful customer service to us. In a little over a year, we have used three different storage units, ranging from their smallest option, the 5x5 to their 10x10 option. The employees have been nothing but helpful in assisting us with our move in and move out from each unit based on our fluctuating storage needs. When they had a power outage, they called and communicated with as many folks as possible and was nothing but smiles. It was my first Public storage experience and I have to say that this location gave me nothing but positive vibes. Coquita is a gem and should be valued and appreciated for the care and standards she exhibits to customers.
I had a lot of stuff to unload and it was almost closing time and we weren't going to be finished unloading in time. The manager Coquita and team members Anthony and Henry jumped in to help us. Without their help we wouldn't have been able to store all things in one day. Hottest day in Seattle, but yet they stayed and made sure we got our things moved in.Very pleasant . I couldn't have asked for better service.
Raised my storage fees thirty percent. Bill makes no sense - standard rent $70 - discount from sign-on $16 = $74 ?!? I called. They said there was a $20 increase to my rent. I pointed out the math error and they said it wasn't a standard rent increase. It was an increase to MY rent.
Also, auto-pay rejected my CC -bank said they kept approving it. Public Storage said there was nothing they could do.
I will be removing my goods ASAP

Starting with the pros of the situation:
-The setup process over the phone was quick. -We arrived 10 mins before closing and Paul, the employee that we worked with at the facility, was nice enough to let us check in and move in the one item that we really needed to get into storage.
-There was a great $1 for the first month deal at this facility (maybe due to the rats??)
Cons:
-With that being said, Paul was willing to take $180 of a customers money without mentioning that there was an infestation. He walked us to the unit and we noticed everyone wearing gloves which should’ve been a red flag. It wasn’t until we were alone with another customer who made us aware of the rat situation which apparently are through his clothes and shoes. We immediately went back inside and was issued a refund which Paul did without a problem. However, he did not apologize once for deceptively selling us a unit with rodents.
It goes to show how little of a priority customers really are to Public Storage.
Great place. Prices the best. Homeless around is bad.

As far as storage goes this place checked all the boxes. I moved my stuff in during covid, the ‘no contact’ service was nice during that time but as things mellowed out it was nice to see the staff around. Never had any issues with billing or with my unit and closing out was very simple.
Management was very accommodating when I moved out, hence the good review. Should I find myself needing storage again in the future I'll definitely choose them.
First time renting a storage unit, and it was an amazing and welcoming experience. All questions were kindly answered, and every member of the staff goes over the top to help their customers. Paul, Coquita, Anthony, and Henry are the best!

This place is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful and it's run very professionally. Coquita in particular has this incredible wonderful positive attitude and energy and goes out of her way to be accommodating and it has made my rental experience here very positive one.

This storage is crazy good. Especially, their staff; they are amazing. I had called them beforehand to inform them that I'll be late and they were happy to accommodate me. I got there at 6:30PM even though they close at 6:00PM they let me in and helped me move my stuff!! A big shoutout to Coquita, Henry and Paul. You guys were amazing.

There were about 20 people including a friend who i was with there 15 minutes after 6 pm on the second of April 2022. The woman that was closing was kind enough to re-enable the elevators to let us and others finish storing their belongings. I personally thought the storage was available 24/7 and that someone is always there to lease out space and offer add-ons if necessary but maybe that's not how it works here in this state or maybe in general (i don't know). Again, the woman that was kind enough to stay wanted to go home and take care of her kids so the least i feel i can do is give this review. Thank you because it would've been a hassle to move everything we just packed back to a place my friend was moving out of.

This location and staff is awesome. Anthony helped me with my storage rental and he was wonderful; helped me in best possible way and made me select a smaller rental space with low rent than what I decided myself. I would recommend Anthony and this location always.

I recently started using public storage and this place was by far the most affordable and professional company I was in contact with. I scheduled an appointment over the phone and ended up running late. Despite being late, Henry took care of all the paperwork with me, which only took a few minutes. He also was super knowledgeable in all aspects of the business making this experience seamlessly. A concern of mine was the location of the building but after seeing all the security measures they take ( Roll up gate with code, property cameras, etc) it made me feel a lot better about leaving my property in this building.
My girlfriend and I recently combined our units at this location and were able to save over $50 by doing so and have more space than we started with! The online specials are definitely worth it! But the best part of this location is the amazing service provided by the employees. We were so blessed by the assistance received from Coquita and Tay. They both went above and beyond on multiple occasions to help us and even though we took up more of their time than expected they never made us feel like an inconvenience or an annoyance. They seemed genuinely happy to help. This service sets them apart and is why we will continue to have a unit here even though the 6pm cut off for access is mildly inconvenient. Huge thanks to these two stellar ladies!!

We came in to do something that we didn’t even feel like doing and left impressed because of a woman named Coquita who helped us. She explained everything quickly, efficiently and confidently. She was considerate. She didn’t kick problems or excuses off to someone else. And on top of that, she was friendly. Because of her, I would recommend this place to other people.

I've only just rented a space, but wanted to come on here to say that Coquita was very helpful in getting us signed up. The location has a lower price than others I looked at in the area. We needed a place that was centrally located and climate controlled so this did the trick. It is a bit sketchy, but you can open the garage door with the app from within your vehicle and the elevators are controlled via password as well so it's a very secure building. That said, I've already found large piles of trash in the building outside of units and broken glass. I guess it comes with the territory.
Rio was great and friendly and the building is clean and well kept. Definitely glad I chose this spot.
33% rent increase beginning of year. Tons of drug use outside front door and garbage everywhere. Employees don't help when lightbulbs are burnt out in hallways. Feels very unsafe.
