White Center Storage Units Near Highway 509

Amy was the best!!
Haley is an excellent property Manager at the Public storage located at the Olson place Seattle. She gave us very useful tips on the storage space requirements, safety and moving our stuff etc. Haley is very knowledgeable, personable and kind hearted. She made an effort to write everything down as my spouse has difficulty in hearing. Great job Haley!!!

Haley provides fantastic customer service. My circumstances required a lot of coordination and she was always extremely helpful. There isn’t much to a storage unit, so customer service at the facility is really what makes the difference.
Haley is an excellent site manager there. She has a high degree of Excellence compassion and old-fashioned common sense. She seems very devoted and seems to work extra hours sometimes. She seems to work tirelessly all day long Never Letting anything slide, and somehow never getting crabby from it.

Hardly ever leave reviews but the attention and customer service I received from Haley was memorable enough and worth taking the time to leave a 5 star review. She went above and beyond to help me figure out my storage situation and made sure to give me as much valuable information and help as she could. PUBLIC STORAGE WILL TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR DAMAGES, INSURANCE WILL ONLY COVER $250 WORTH OF DAMAGES. THEY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE RAT PROBLEM FOR YEARS AND DECIDE TO IGNORE IT. IRREPLACEABLE ITEMS WERE LOST DUE TO THIS PLACE!!!

I would recommend this place to anyone that needs storage. The staff here is great particularly Sandra and jacob. I have over $200 in fees that were racked up and Sandra volunteered to help me get them waived even though I never even asked her for help, she felt it was the right thing to do. You don’t see that kind of Customerservice anymore and she actually produced my bill just a little effort over $200. It’s nice to see that there are still people who care about other people and go above and beyond to help them. A very well earned five stars!

I give 10 stars to the gal at the front desk who was filling in from another location today and hadn’t worked at that site before. She was very friendly and very helpful when she showed me the unit I had reserved online last night to make sure it was the right size for my needs. She gave me some great tips for how best to fit the furniture and boxes in the space for my move in. The facility is very clean and secure.

The price was right and the set up and access was good HOWEVER the locked cap to my truck was broken into and prowled through while stored in their “secure” facility.
***Management was very prompt in reaching out to me and was eager to resolve my issue. I was very impressed with their reactiveness. It was quite clear that PS takes their customer service seriously. I was also assured that they are taking steps to shore up the security around the perimeter for these reasons I change my review to 2 to 5 stars.***

I have used this facility before was nice and great customer service. I will not recommend this facility as poor customer service and communication from the management team . Go somewhere else if you want a customer service and better communication. I have been hit with fees and notice to sell my unit . Which is not a way to keep customers. But let this be a learn experience as they said we take care of you . Sure with fees and notices of selling your stuff do yourself a favor go somewhere we you will be without a headache and don’t deal with unprofessional people . I request to see about the fees and lien on a unit and they send you a text that is not possible. As the person who operates this facility they don’t care or seems like they do I would have given them a no star also units are over used and stinks like mold. Bad customer service and rude associates as fits the place .

Risky! Count on rate increases bi yearly along with stolen stuff. I have had multiple break ins or attempts at 2 different locations (white center off olson and the Martin luther king location ) Multiple cars hit at the same time with damage and theft to my vehicle resulting in over $5000 damage .. At a 3rd location (Bellevue off of 20th) my actual storage unit got hit along with about 5 others. Oh did I mention this all happened in the last 3 months? Finding myself slowly getting furious and closing my accounts at some locations I call Corporate despite the office telling me its pointless and literally telling me the higher ups don't care. - The Regional manager does call me back finally after 2 + days,,,, but uses a ringless voicemail ... really ? and says if I need anything still to call him back. Did you listen to my voicemail Regional manager? I am a customer that pays over $16,000 a year to your company , yes I want to talk about something. Not listen to a ringless voicemail. If I am taking time to call you I am hoping to not have yet another robotic experience. Taking the risk of Parking on the street or trying a different company is what its come to. . A little humanity ,discussion and minor reimbursement sure would have went a long way. Instead the only way to get a discount is to be a new ignorant customer moving your stuff into a den of thievery and ignorance.
Office staff is never in the office. Terrible communication... If they need something, they call you all day. If you need something from them though? Good luck.
This place is horrible! They raised my rate by 20% after just 2-3 months but the worst they have changed the door and lock on my unit without even telling me! When movers came to take my stuff out they couldn't access it and property manager was screaming and yelling at them and kicked them out. I had to reschedule to another day and pay $$$ for the change. Please do yourself a favor and never rent from them.

Good location and good atmosphere.
I parked my RV there and after 3 days someone broke in and stole everything. The damaged 6 looks also one window and inside the RV. It looks like this was a group of homeless people.
I’ve rented units at 5 different Public Storage locations over the last few years and this one is by far the best. Both in terms of unit sizes (12x30 drive up units are amazing) and service. Tasha in particular has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and keeps this location running like a well oiled machine.
Honestly great service price was right and clean how I know they secure your things well one time i forget to put my lock and they call me to go put it up and well thanks will stay in updated 👍
Best storage facility and staff I have ever worked with. Tasha specifically, was always so helpful and accommodating. I am honestly sad to be leaving them. They also have been doing a lot of renovations to the facility lately my stuff felt extremely secure the location was perfect I really just don’t have a bad thing to say about this place. You should absolutely pick this facility over any other in the area.
