False advertising and lack of detail on online pricing, website says one thing and call to onstie staff says another. Length of online price has no detail so consumers are unable to price compare with other providers, since it's month to month, they can increase your rate with 30 day notice. Have rented a 10x20 outdoor unit for 5 months and rate was 228.00 and went up to 331.00 after initial pricing. Attached pictures shows a price of 182 or 183 advertised on web for same size, when you call you get the price 237.00. When asking for the length of intial price the staff was unable to state the duration of the introductory rate, and their is no detail on web site.

Dora was extremely helpful and prices were great and consistent throughout contract.

Downsized units and Dora was awesome and patient while I chose options. The app is nice for opening the gate.

4/4/2024 3:40pm this is retaliation and hate for posting my review and for being a disabled vet. what they do not want you to know: fact: the rent went from $35 to $55 to $85, then to $115, all within 6 months. so, i moved out of the unit 3/30/24. just now @3:40pm, i received a threatening phone call from the manager saying i now owe them more money and will report it as a bad debt to credit reporting agencies. as snide punishment, of course. i demand an answer from upper management. email me. no more phone calls from public storage... i wish not to speak with anyone. i want everything documented. why do you think i did all this publicly? documentation. pk "it's just business" said upper management to a veteran who is disabled, to justify abruptly raising the monthly rate 40%+ percent... "pay or you will lose your belongings," i was told. does anyone else actually believe this type of "business" is ethical, or considered 'good business' practices? ..because, i certainly do not. 10/13/23 - i will continue to update on what public storage course of action will be. thus far, ive not been contacted. it's "just business" right? WOW! I AM STILL BEING OVER CHARGED... AMAZING, THAT MANAGER WHO SAID "IT'S JUST BUSINESS", LIED TO ME. I WAS TOLD UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR, BUT NO. I WAS LIED TO. Thank you Dora for being most excellent I was renting a unit knowing my 6 kids and myself were about to be homeless. She helped me find a unit that fit my budget while being so empathetic. She was able to help me with setting up the app as well getting the gate to open via phone. She was just human to me and I appreciate her and all her help.

I rented a unit from them in October. In December, I received a call from Dora, an employee, telling me that I needed to move my belongings to a different unit because “damage” within my unit had to be repaired. I told Dora that I was not able to move my belongings without the use of a moving company due to the majority of my items being large furniture. I asked Dora if this was an emergency situation and if there was any damage to my belongings. Dora indicated that it was not an emergency, that my belongings had not been damaged, and that the damage to the unit had occurred prior to me renting it. Dora also indicated that the unit should not have been rented to me because of the needed repairs. I told Dora that I could not afford to hire a moving company and that I don’t see why the repairs could not wait until I vacate the unit in June. Dora indicated she would inform her “district manager.” I did not hear anything from anyone until I received a call from Dora in February informing me that the lock on my storage unit had been cut so that the “vendor” could take photos of the damage that needed to be repaired. Per my contract, I was to receive “3 days’ written notice” prior to anyone affiliated with Public Storage accessing my unit, including when that access is needed for inspection or repair. The only exception to the written notice requirement is when “criminal activity” is expected, “in an emergency,” and when I “fail to grant” access upon “3 days’ written notice” or if I “default” the Rental Agreement. During the call, Dora assured me that the contract allowed staff to enter my facility for this instance although she was not sure “where in the contract” it said this. I asked Dora when I could get keys to the new lock and she told me I would not be allowed to have keys because “they” were moving my belongings to a different unit “sometime next week.” Dora told me that if I wanted to access my unit I would have to do so during business hours when staff could allow me access. These actions are direct violations of the rental agreement. After receiving the call from Dora, I immediately responded to the facility with a copy of my rental agreement. Dora told me that they had every right to cut the lock and proceeded to read a section of the agreement, which refers to suspected “criminal activity.” I asked her if they suspected criminal activity and she assured me they did not, and kept repeating that they could cut the lock “in an emergency” although the contract clearly does not allow this and that, at this point, there was no currently occurring emergency. I asked Dora to allow me access to my unit so I could check on my belongings and she initially refused to allow me access. I had to ask multiple times before she finally agreed. I observed a blue lock on the unit for which I did not have keys. Inside the unit, there was no apparent damage, no leaking water, no fire, nothing indicating any type of “emergency” had occurred. When asked why I could not have keys to my unit, Dora told me she was only doing what she was told to do by her district manager, Tracy Bevan, and told me I needed to call her. I called and left a message for Tracy but have not received a response. I reported everything to my attorney, the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s consumer protection unit. In my opinion, I would NEVER consider leasing a unit from Public Storage and hope you have a better experience elsewhere.

Just got a letter 3 months into our lease letting us know our bill is going up by $120. Probably thought that it was enough time for us to settle our stuff in, and we wouldn't want the hassle of moving it again? Either way, 3 months in and already raising the lease by 25% is nuts, in my opinion. No thanks! Will be moving everything out by the end of the month.

They waited until we moved all of our large furniture in, waited a few months, then jacked our rate up 37%. Very greedy and unethical, as we will have to hire movers AGAIN to move to a cheaper facility.

Yeah I go there, yeah it's my storage, yeah they renovated and had some holdup with access but all fixed good, no complaints, overall very good place to store your stuff

I feel safe leaving my stuff here

In February I emptied 2 storage units that I have been renting for over 1 year. I emptied it about 12 days early. Dora the Store Manager said she would manually take care of the monthly automatic deductions for 2 units. On the day I moved out, I once again checked in with Dora. Her District Manager happened to be at this location and asked about my experience. I told her it had been good. Dora removed the automatic payments for both accounts but I am now getting calls that I have been sent to collections. I have left various messages with her staff at this location and have yet to get a call back. I'm not understanding why Dora has not returned my call. I have moved out of state, otherwise I'd drive to the location. Since the District Manager asked that I leave a yelp review I am hoping she will see this and call me back so that we can take care of this mistake.

My husband and I ended up moving during a snow storm and had to store our stuff ,Dora was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is easy to get too and the app is super easy to use. I was very happy and would definitely recommend this place

After checking on line, I drove to the site to review the property. Dora was there in the office and was very helpful guiding me through the rental process and the policies of Public Storage. After reviewing the storage locker I was happy to sign with Public Storage. Great customer service, location and price.

So far so good. I just got my unit. Pretty quick easy straight forward. Dora helped me she was very knowledgeable. She gave me a tour of the property went over everything clear, concise, quick. My 1sr mo tg is 1dollar but you have to pay an admi instruction fee of 29.99 and buy a lock for 20.00 and also carry insurance minimum of 15. And I bought a box so my 1 dollar for first month was 70.00 or so but my regular rate will be 246 or something g like that for a drive up outdoor entrance garage type storage can fit a car. I, happy w it so far. Gate is broke. Right now so you only will have storage access until 6pm u til they get the door repaired and she wasn't really sure when that might be fixed so just be aware of that.. but otherwise everything so far so good. DORA is a gem, personable, professionL full of smile. I recommend this place so far. I can't speak on any o e else that works here but my experience with her was pleasant and i would recommend here and her for sure.. so far 5 stars.. I will re review in a month, upon incident (should anything like that happen) and/ or when I vacate.

Concerned about my belongings being secure, the gates are left unlocked during normal business hours. Door to access storage units do not close. There is no light in the storage units better bring a flashlight. Every time I have been to this sight ( during normal business hours there is no staff )

We rented a unit here. We're late on making a payment by one week, and charged nearly $50 in fees. They waived a portion but still a lot to pay.
