Great quick service service with my rental
Miss Angel is very professional, has patience to listen and explain things clearly to clients. Outstanding young lady.
There was rat poop all over my bed. There was a dead rat inside the plastic that my mattress was in. It has added stress on top of a stressful situation. The worst part is the financial burden this has caused. Insurance won't even cover a fourth of what it will cost to replace my belongings.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ITEMS HERE. There is a rampant rat infestation that they have had at least since March. The property manager has told me personally they don’t know what else to do because it it so bad. Droppings everywhere and the units smell like urine!
Brandon had PHENOMENAL customer service skills. He was pleasant, prompt, and a great problem solver!

First time renting a storage unit & NEVER AGAIN will i go to public storage. I had my storage unit from March to August & when i came back, mice went through my things. Boxes were torn through, mice poop literally EVERYWHERE. They bit through my couch and a seat apart of my balcony set. I understand things happen but the insurance that you are forced to get through public storage covered NOTHING. The lack of consideration regarding this issue tells me all i need to know about this company but it’s a lesson learned.
have been at this facility about 2 months now and I love it…. I left my previous facility due to constant rate hikes- The price here was amazing compared to surrounding storage facilities and on top of the great monthly price, they had an awesome move in special so it was mere pennies to get in the door- The customer service is fantastic- Gladys, the on site manager is so friendly and helpful- she keeps the place spinning like a top- she is always there to shoot you a friendly wave and a hello and every time I had a question or concern, she got me an answer or resolved the issue in minutes. She keeps the place clean and safe- I feel confident in storing my possessions here with her on duty-

I moved to Public Storage 3 yrs ago from another storage co.that had a mildew issue. Monday 6-19-23 I went to get items out of my P S unit to find rat droppings all over my stuff and other damage the rats did. I paid extra for insurance but found out from the claims department at Orange Door say that the most you can get is $250. I have a sofa, dinette set, books, movies, etc. but the most important stuff is my late husband’s clothes which I had planned to make a quilt out of. The latter is the most heartbreaking. How will I replace my items with $250? Really? I pay $150 each month! Destruction of property is worth more, especially since P.S. is aware of the rat problem. I met a friend of a friend that this happened to as well. Shame on P.S. for not disclosing this info. I would have stayed at the other storage company and dealt with the mildew.

My Big problem comes from the fact that I had a reservation and they said they would call me and I didn't hear back from them so when I showed up with a load of stuff to open my storage unit for a unit that had been priced at $126 a month suddenly was $175 a month I'm the disabled veteran I live on disability less than $1,000 a month and that would take $51 a month well 49 $49 a month out of my mouth or my bills and I can't afford that and the fact that it changed that much in a week I don't want to rent there I'm that life storage now $88 a month for the same size storage about three blocks away

I wish I could give this place 1 star. To pay something monthly to secure my keepsakes, furniture and items of sentimental value and open my unit to it being destroyed, moldy, feces, boxes ripped open by rats. Where is the pest control ? ??? And I’m sure Gladys had no ideas that there was a rat problem… (sarcasm) after she sounded so surprised and asked what unit I was in. I can’t believe the property manager is not aware of a pest issue, but there are numerous rat poison boxes. Unbelievable. I will never do business with public storage again. I am devastated. Losing all of my furniture, and items from my grandfather before he passed
I had a huge problem that most people would have flipped out over, but after dealing with the manager, Gladys, she did everything in her power to rectify the situation! She kept me as a customer & gained a new allegiance with me!
I want to thank Miss Gladys so much for her amazing efforts as a property manager at public storage at the wigeon road location in Norfolk va . Firstly she has made every attempt to do wonderful customer service for us, I can tell she takes pride in the property. We were having some difficulties trying to get into our storage unit, and she actually was making herself available to us even though it was her day off on New Year’s day on a Sunday. She waited for us almost 2 hours so that way we could get there in time so that way she could help us with our storage situation. I truly truly appreciate her Customer Service, if it was not for her we would’ve not been able to move our stuff for another three weeks. Because of her efforts I was able to get my furniture and items out of the storage when I had the truck to transport it. Otherwise I would’ve had to reschedule a time to use the truck to get my items in the next time I would’ve been available wouldn’t of been for another three weeks. So now my two-year-old can rest easy at night with all her toys in her items in our new place. Thank you so much Gladys for all your work. The place is sparkling clean, I would highly highly recommend this storage facility to anyone. It had the best deals in the best customer service. You can tell Gladys isn’t just like regular employees, she takes pride in her work, followed up with me multiple times to let me know she was out of the office and she’d be out on property and to look for her car . Just can’t think her enough for her time and consideration. I really wanted to leave a good review for her thank you so much Gladys !

This is direct violation of the Customer Review Fairness Act and a complaint will be filed to the Attorney Generals office at all haste

🤔 Not home but next best!😁 I use climate controlled units that are definitely warm apprx 55° during winter and around 75° during summer... 🤷♀️ give or take. But clean.🧐 SOME customers pack in trash bags & store food so visually I see where that can be a problem. The facility itself one ⭐ for Working Gate (I don't allow piggy back vehicles) , one⭐ for location and well lit at night, two ⭐⭐s for the STAFF! Gladys is a friendly and knowledgeable person that takes our concerns & needs seriously. 💛🤩 I did hold back a star for the outside non- climate units in the deeps of the place. They are really old and should be rebuilt for better drainage and new doors/ locks. That little area is workable but needs updating to solidify safety for the customer and support the rest of the updated facility. (Feels like a secret passage to an off road prison camp😑🛎.) But despite the little SID from Toy Story units w/hidden doors.... IT'S GREAT! Besides...Gladys' Red Carpet customer service makes up for allll that so - GO THERE!
